Number of sightings was about 400 over roughly past year, compared to about 144 in previous 17 years, officials said
Pentagon officials on Tuesday showed previously classified photos and video of Unidentified Foreign Objects, in Congress’s first hearing on the matter in over 50 years.
In one video clip, a small object appeared to zip past a military pilot, And another video and photo taken at a different time, shows glowing triangles in the night sky, according to Fox News.
The declassified images were shown during testimony from Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence Scott Bray and Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Ronald Moultrie at a hearing held by the House Intelligence Cou
Bray said the video and photo of the glowing triangles were eventually identified as unmanned aerial vehicles but that the military does not know what the object in the first video is.
Bray also said the number of recent sighting has significantly increased – over 400 in about the past year, compared to 144 from 2004 to 2021.
Most sightings, he also said, occur over military training areas or other such federally occupied airspace.
Last November, the Pentagon created the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group to take over the work of the Navy’s UAP Task Force, with the goal of establishing a more streamlined process for reporting and investigating UFO incidents.
Prior to Tuesday, the last public congressional hearing on UFOs occurred in the 1960s, before the Air Force canceled “Project Blue Book,” a program that looked into UFO reports for about 20 years before determining that nothing they found posted a national security threat.
As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
