With the stunning and earth-shattering news that the Supreme Court has voted to overturn Roe v Wade, this decision, once finalized, would return the ability of the states to regulate abortion, not the federal government, and would trigger mass bans across the country.

The event has already sparked protests, with supporters and dissenters gathered outside the Supreme Court last night just hours after the decision was leaked, yelling and screaming and threatening that Amazon will soon be sold out of coat hangers.We imagine that many, many “mostly peaceful protests” will ensue.

Not only is Planned Parenthood losing their ever-loving mind, but Cathy Stahl, CEO of Planned Parenthood Montana was inconsolable, writing on Twitter that she’s ‘weeping’ for the country, and encouraging all Montanans to fight against this:

Currently, 22 states have laws in place to trigger a ban on abortion once Roe V Wade is overturned, but Montana is NOT one of them.

While Montana does not have such a law in place, given the political climate and the way AG Knudsen has been battling Planned Parenthood, it is expected that they will move quickly, now that this is out of the way, and that the Gianforte government will join suit in abolishing all abortion in the state.

Truly, this is a day for rejoicing.
