Pastor Loses Job After Church Sign Stating ‘Homosexuality Is Still A Sin’ Causes Uproar

church-sign

Pastor Justin Hoke of Trinity Bible Presbyterian Church in Weed, California, has lost his job following both community and alleged internal backlash over the language used in his most recent church sign.

In early January, Hoke designed a sign that read: “Bruce Jenner is still a man. Homosexuality is still a sin. The culture may change. The Bible does not.”

According to SFGate, “a couple dozen” community members gathered to protest the sign on January 6. The protest, called the “Shastina Love Rally,” was organized in part by local resident Amelia Mallory.

A second protest was held on Sunday. According to the most recent count on the official Facebook invite page, 71 people were “going” to the event, and 182 people were “interested.”

In a pinned post on the official Love Rally Facebook page, a message from Mallory reads in part:

We are there to support the LGBTQ+ community in a positive way. Debating with any church members isn’t the goal. We are not there for them. Some of us on our side of the street still are also religious. All of us are capable of treating everyone with respect, even if we disagree. Do not engage anyone trying to escalate the situation to violence.

On or around January 9, the sign was vandalized:

In an article published just several days ago, Yahoo Lifestyle quoted Pastor Hoke, who said: “We believe that Jesus commands all Christians to let their light shine. We also believe that salvation is only for sinners. Jesus said he came to call sinners, not the righteous. If we give in to cultural demands to stop calling sin ‘sin,’ then we are robbing people of opportunity to hear the truth.”

Despite there being no outward sign of fracture within the church, on Saturday evening, Hoke published the following unexpected update on Facebook:

As of today, I am no longer the pastor of Trinity Bible Presbyterian Church.

After much prayer and counsel, I have decided that it is best to briefly communicate what has taken place.

  1. I was informed by our other elder that he felt he could no longer follow my lead as Pastor of TBPC.
  2. I was informed that essentially all but one couple in membership would leave the church if I continued as pastor of TBPC.
  3. Our other elder and the couple felt that those who left would likely return if I would leave.
  4. Our other elder was agreeable to stay and assume the pastoral responsibilities.

Therefore it was determined that it would be in the best interest of the local body for us (TBPC and the Hoke family) to part ways.

Over one hundred people have commented, a majority of whom are supportive of Hoke:

“I am sorry the church doesn’t support your stance. God bless you for being faithful to the Word of God, and not the ungodly secular culture.”

“Brother, I am speechless but not surprised. You preach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and that is hard to handle for most. I am praying for you and the family right now. God bless you and keep you.”

“We are praying for you brother. You boldly spoke the truth. Galatians 1:10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

The Daily Wire spoke with Pastor Hoke, who walked us through the situation from his perspective.

According to Hoke, he was inspired to create the sign after seeing the news story in which a biological male who identifies as female “threw a fit because a clerk had accidentally referred to him with the masculine gender [pronoun].”

Hoke said that because “the culture has drawn a line in the sand and dared [Christians] to step over,” he came to the conclusion that the church should accept the challenge — not with hate, but by simply preaching “the gospel.”

The pastor also noted that he wasn’t “fired,” but that the church faced a potential fracture in the wake of the fervor surrounding the sign, and that in order to keep the church intact, he felt it was best to vacate his position. Hoke repeatedly stated that he wanted to be circumspect in the way he spoke about the incident because he “loves” the people at Trinity Bible Presbyterian.

Regarding the protesters, Hoke said: “I believe they’re sincere — sincerely wrong, but sincere. I believe that it is hypocritical that their position is taught in schools and pushed on children, while our position is asked to be kept within the walls of the church.” He added that he hopes and believes that “within their midst, there are people whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life, and that the command for all Christians is to preach to them the gospel faithfully, calling them to repentance and faith, that they might be changed by the Holy Spirit and brought into the family of God.”

Hoke concluded our conversation by stating that if he could stand in the pulpit again for just a few minutes, he would continue to preach “the gospel as concisely as [he could].”

Will People Awaken when it is “High Time”?

best24

“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” – Romans 13:11

The Greek word for “high time” is hōra, which means; a definite time or season, the twelfth hour or end of the day immediately before darkness. Of course, it is an unnatural response to awaken when darkness comes, but rather to sleep. However, in the spiritual sense, when darkness according to eschatology arrives, we must be awake.

“But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:4-8

Therefore, let us consider what is occurring today with our eyes open and minds alert. A recent Barna poll discovered that 90% of political liberals have never read the Bible. Is it any surprise that that sector cannot discern between good and evil? I say to every true Christian, stop appealing to the sense of justice in liberal politicians and other godless influential people in our nation. They have no concept of justice. Instead, they believe justice is persecuting individuals that are just. Stop appealing to their common sense. They discarded that as a hindrance to political “correctness” long ago.

Cease attempting to embarrass liberals concerning their imbecilic and moronic statements. They are “unembarassable,” having no sense of propriety by which shame can be provoked. Why attempt to make them consider reason and logic when they embrace unreasonable and illogical as twin strengths of their “integrity?”

There is no purpose in appealing to their sense of fairness since they insist that their evil works are righteous. Thus, they howl as if egregiously wronged when exposed by the law or standard of common decency. They believe that outrage is proper against expressions of goodness, godliness, and common decency. But when people are outraged at child molestation, infanticide, gender perversion, or other scurrilous behavior, they screech that such outrage is hatred that should be punishable by every means possible.

Don’t appeal to their integrity; they dissolved it to retrofit the mind of Satan. Nothing from the kingdom of God appeals to or makes sense to them. Appealing to them about the great damage they are causing only makes them indignant and angry. The legacy of their wicked political leadership is as a massive pile of rubble, but they see it as a great mountain of hope.

So it is time to face the truth about what has a lion’s mouth grip on the throat of America. We (Christians) are under an aggressive attack by the secular realm with our demise as the intended result. Their plan is the total annihilation of truth and godly conscience by the Saul Alinsky method to achieve the Hegelian Dialectic. It is an implosion of the United States society so that a godless and brutal gulag can be established on the grave of our Republic. The United States will be joined to the godless Global government.

Furthermore and essential to understanding the whole picture, one must recognize the great apostasy of Christianity as a parallel great work of wickedness. It will completely destroy and/or subdue godliness and replace it with delusional wickedness, all under the false titles of peace and unity. It is actually peace with Satan and unity with unrighteousness. That fact is easily identified by the fruit.

The big picture is that the great wickedness professing Christians see occurring in the world system is occurring on an equal scale in Christianity. However, many Christians are very politically aware of the bizarre wickedness in the World System but completely refuse to recognize the same degree of wickedness in Christianity.

The two sectors are on parallel paths that are now speeding toward conversion. We know that is occurring when we witness complete abandonment of love for truth by an abundance of evil leaders in each sector.

So professing Christians are politically involved and believe they have a political Savior in the President. They completely ignore the spiritual destruction at work with equal force in Christianity. If they would only pray and take off the blinders, they would understand the danger. But they will not and they refuse to hear the watchman or join the Remnant. Here is what is likely to occur.

The whitewashed wall weak professing Christians are trusting in that provides their false hope will come down in an instant. They will turn back to trust in Christianity only to discover that it too has collapsed. Bewildered and fearful, they will accept the first way out, which will be the offer of peace and security by Antichrist and the False Prophet. They will be too weak to resist, too spiritually blind to recognize evil, and too dependent on comfort, security, and escapism, to endure to the end.

I pray daily that they will turn their focus back on God and away from the satanic sideshow. I hope and pray that they will open their minds to what God wishes them to see and prepare accordingly. One day their cries of, “Too late! It’s too late!” will echo off the shut door. (Matthew 25) (Click to Source)

Malibu church ‘pressured to end meals for the homeless’ because it ‘lures the needy’

‘Very succinctly, they claimed we are increasing homelessness’

When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendor), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them [the people] from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats;

And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left.

Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you [h]brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me,

I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me.

Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink?

And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You?

And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You?

And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me.

Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!

For I was hungry and you gave Me no food, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink,

I was a stranger and you did not welcome Me and entertain Me, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me [l]with help and ministering care.

Then they also [in their turn] will answer, Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?

And He will reply to them, Solemnly I declare to you, in so far as you failed to do it for the least [in the estimation of men] of these, you failed to do it for Me.

Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life.  ( Matthew 25: 31-46  Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation

A church in upmarket Malibu has decided to stop providing free meals for those in need after claiming they were told by officials they were attracting too many homeless people.

The United Methodist Church, one of many churches that provides food and help, has been offering free meals twice a week. But it said it was going to stop after being told the meal servicewas luring too many homeless people.

Dawn Randall, a member of the church, said it recently received an email from city officials. “Very succinctly, they claimed we are increasing homelessness,” she told CBS.

Reports suggest that the California city of Malibu, famed for its gorgeous beaches and multi-million dollar homes, has a growing problem with homelessness, an issue that was met with both charity and taxpayer money.

The Los Angeles Times said the city, which has a population of 13,000, has roughly 180 homeless residents, but no shelter or housing for poor people.

The United Methodist Church and Standing on Stone, a Christian group, had been hosting twice-weekly homeless dinners on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

But the newspaper said once the metro line to Santa Monica opened last year, a number of residents complained that mentally-ill and other homeless people were camping at the beach and entering schools.

“A homeless person was taking a shower in the girls locker room in middle school – that wasn’t real good,” Gary Peterson, a retired developer, told the newspaper. “Providing dinner is a nice thing to do and a good thing, but it’s the location.”

At a public hearing this week, Malibu Mayor Skylar Peak denied making the order and apologised for any miscommunication.

“No they were never formally asked to stop feeding the homeless,” said Mr Peak. “Not at all.”

Neither the church or Mr Peak immediately responded to inquiries. (Click to Source)

‘Unbelief’ and ‘Comfortable’ Christianity Fueling Millennial Interest in Occult, Astrology, Pastors Say

But the [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach,

Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized),

Who forbid people to marry and [teach them] to abstain from [certain kinds of] foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and have [an increasingly clear] knowledge of the truth.

For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be thrown away or refused if it is received with thanksgiving.

For it is hallowed and consecrated by the Word of God and by prayer.

If you lay all these instructions before the brethren, you will be a worthy steward and a good minister of Christ Jesus, ever nourishing your own self on the truths of the faith and of the good [Christian] instruction which you have closely followed.

But refuse and avoid irreverent legends (profane and impure and godless fictions, mere grandmothers’ tales) and silly myths, and express your disapproval of them. Train yourself toward godliness (piety), [keeping yourself spiritually fit].

For physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come.

This saying is reliable and worthy of complete acceptance by everybody.

With a view to this we toil and strive, [yes and] [a]suffer reproach, because we have [fixed our] hope on the living God, Who is the Savior (Preserver, Maintainer, Deliverer) of all men, especially of those who believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to Him).

Continue to command these things and to teach them. (1 Timothy 4:1-11) Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation

Millennials are increasingly exploring and turning to occultic spirituality and astrology, as statistics continue showing rising numbers of “nones,” those who do not identify with any particular faith. This is in part due to a mindset of fear and unbelief and comfortable Christianity, some pastors say.

Market Watch reported Monday that the psychic services industry grew 2 percent between the years of 2011 and 2016, an industry now worth approximately $2 billion. Also in recent years, according to Pew, the percentage of people ages 18-29 who “never doubt the existence of God” dropped from 81 percent in 2007 to 67 percent in 2012.

Pastors who spoke with The Christian Post believe the lack of spiritual power and a “comfortable” Christianity in the Church has created a vacuum of sorts, and a mindset of fear has constricted the real power of the Holy Spirit.

“Though some churches do explore the mystical realities of the spiritual realm, they are often marginalized due to misunderstandings or possible lack of biblical integrity,” said Wanda Alger, field correspondent with Intercessors for America and a pastor at Crossroads Community Church in Winchester, Virginia, in a CP interview Thursday.

“At the same time, the devil can’t do anything new.”

She noted that Ecclesiastes 3:11 states that God has “put eternity into man’s heart” and because human beings are made in God’s image and God is Spirit, “our very DNA connects us to the spiritual realm.” Therefore, we have a “natural” desire to know what’s happening in that realm because we were created from it, she added, pointing to how God breathed life into Adam in the creation account and how in John 4:24 Jesus said the Father seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.

“Unfortunately, unless the church provides the proper context for this reality, nonbelievers will look elsewhere to satisfy their spiritual hunger,” Alger said.

All other experiences with the spiritual realm — be they from psychics, astrologists, or mediums — she continued, are counterfeits, replacing something that is very real and powerful. She mentioned that Hollywood is exploiting this realm with greater attention on the supernatural nowadays which leads unsuspecting seekers into deceptive experiences that yield more spiritual darkness.

“Rather than deeming everything that is supernatural ‘demonic,’ the church needs to wake up to the reality of this realm and begin to approach it from a Kingdom perspective which understands its place and purpose,” Alger stressed.

“The sad thing is that these millennials who are exploring the dark side of the supernatural have more faith and belief than most Christians. Because they are open and spiritually hungry, the spirit realm responds. The biggest hindrance to understanding the realities of the Spirit realm is unbelief,” she emphasized.

Ken Thornberg, executive director of Freedom Encounters, an interdenominational equipping and deliverance ministry in Boise, Idaho, concurs.

“By and large, the church does not operate in power,” Thornberg said, “and it actually operates with a lot of unbelief. We don’t want to rock the boat.”

Churches have gotten too comfortable, he stressed.

“We like our tithes and offerings and we can’t afford to lose them and the Enemy has convinced the leadership of the Church that if they begin to walk in signs, wonders, miracles, and healing that it is going to turn people away, when history has shown that exactly the opposite occurs.”

He has observed youth who meet people involved in the occult, witchcraft, and New Age spirituality, who hear stories of supernatural power and are intrigued. “But these are nothing but imitations of what the Holy Spirit can do in people’s lives,” he said.

“But the youth don’t know that because they have not been taught or they have not experienced it. But they want to.”

When Thornberg recounts to youth testimonies of the Holy Spirit’s power and work in the world that he has seen personally, they are wide-eyed and engaged. Many pastors, however, do not go near this out of fear, he noted.

“But my Bible says that the Enemy is the author of fear,” he said.

“When millennials see the faith and the power and the excitement of others in the occult, they don’t see fear, they see curiosity” and an invitation to do exciting things, when such language ought to be coming out of the leadership of the Body of Christ, he said.

He believes that churches cannot afford to ignore the demonic realm especially since in the last several years it has come into the observable dimension of human events.

Alger added: “In our attempt to be biblically accurate and doctrinally guarded, the church has ended up operating in more doubt and fear than faith. That’s one reason Jesus said, ‘When I return, will I find faith on the earth?'” (Luke 18:8) (Click to Source)

Should We Use The End Times To Inspire Our Teenagers To Live For Christ?

end-time

I’ll never forget the first time I watched a Christian movie on the Rapture. It was a 1972 poorly produced film called “A Thief in the Night.”

But what this movie lacked in production quality it made up for in premise…When Jesus comes back you should be ready or you will be left behind. The song in the movie still pops in my head from time to time. It’s Larry Norman‘s “I’d wish we’d all been ready.” Here are the cryptic, catchy lyrics,

“Life was filled with guns and war
And all of us got trampled on the floor
I wish we’d all been ready.

The children died, the days grew cold
A piece of bread could buy a bag of gold
I wish wed all been ready.

There’s no time to change your mind
The son has come and you’ve been left behind.

A man and wife asleep in bed
She hears a noise and turns her head he’s gone
I wish we’d all been ready.

Two men walking up a hill
One disappears and ones left standing still
I wish wed all been ready.

The father spoke, the demons dined
How could you have been so blind?

There’s no time to change your mind
The son has come and you’ve been left behind

There’s no time to change your mind
The son has come and you’ve been left behind

I hope we’ll all be ready
 You’ve been left behind.”

This movie set the bar low for the long-line of cheesy Christian movies that would follow. But, in spite of it’s poor production quality, it had it’s desired effect. “A Thief in the Night” scared the living tar out of everyone who watched it…including me.

No, I wasn’t afraid of being left behind. I had put my faith in Jesus and was sure of my salvation. But I was afraid of others being left behind. And that righteous fear became part of my evangelistic fuel.

Yes, I come from a pre-tribulational, pre-millennial, pre-everthing background. The dispensational, fundamental teaching I was raised on ingrained in me an urgency factor when it came to evangelism (because Jesus could come back at any time) and a readiness factor when it came to personal holiness (because Jesus could come back at any time.) This urgency helped shape both me and the ministry I lead today, Dare 2 Share.

While the Lord has enabled me to scrape off many of the legalistic views I was raised in, by his grace, I’ve been able to keep much of my urgency. And I’m deeply thankful for that.

Regardless of your eschatological leanings most of us can agree that a primary purpose of prophecy is to be ready for the return of Jesus. The Lord himself said, “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming” Matthew 24:42.

We must be on the alert. We must be ready. We must be sharing Jesus.

So how does the reality of the impending return of Christ help fuel teenagers spiritually? In the same way it fueled me when I was a teenager. It sparks urgency in them!

Use natural phenomenons (blood moons, solar eclipses, etc), natural disasters (floods, hurricanes and earthquakes), wars and rumors of wars (Matthew 24:6-8) as an excuse to talk about end-times readiness. Of course, along with this, we want to do what we can about helping those who are hurt by them now. But we don’t want to miss the opportunity to point to the skies and say, “What if today is the day that Jesus returns?”

Obviously this requires wisdom and balance. In no way to we want to listen to the date-setting, fearmongering koo-koo-catchoos out there. But we don’t want to miss the point of what Jesus was reminding his disciples of either. He was reminding them and us to be ready and to make sure everyone we know is ready, because he is coming back someday when we don’t expect it.

Consider doing a series on end-times prophecy in youth group. Maybe you could show a cheesy end-times movie and then have a serious open Bible disciussion about it afterward. Perhaps you could invite someone in who is a Biblically solid end-times prophecy teacher and let your teenagers do a Q & A session with him or her.

Whatever you do don’t avoid the subject. It provides a much-needed DNA strand to our motivational muscle. It can help fuel holy living and Gospel giving.

On September 23rd we are doing Dare 2 Share Live, an unprecedented live simulcast event in 70 cities across the nation. We are praying that we can inspire, equip and unleash 50,000 teenagers to have 300,000 Gospel conversations in a single day!

Someone asked me recently, “Did you choose the date because some are saying the apocalypse will begin on September 23rd?” They went on to explain that there are a whole bunch of end-timers online saying that September 23rd will mark the beginning of the end.

My answer to them was, “No, we didn’t pick September 23rd because of any other reason that it happened to be the Saturday before See You at the Pole. That is the only reason.”

But, to be honest, down deep inside I think it’s kinda cool that Dare 2 Share Live happens to be on a date that some people are buzzing about. It adds to the “what if?” factor. Do I think that September 23rd will mark the return of Christ? Nope. But do I think I should live everday like it could be that day? YES!

Let’s use every Biblical truth possible to motivate our teenagers to live for Christ and share the Gospel! Let’s help build the urgency DNA in each of them. Let’s do it in a way that smacks of urgency, not insanity.

Hope to see you and your teenagers on September 23rd at Dare 2 Share Live.

Don’t be left behind! 😉 (Click to Site)

The Cautious Watcher

25-aaron-with-lampstand

The Prophecy Watchers have been on heightened alert for the last 20 years but history did not start when we came to conscientiousness!

In 1998, I had a conversation with my then 78-year-old grandmother about the pending global catastrophe of Y2K.  We were at my father’s (a fellow Watcher) kitchen table and we were going over our preparations.  My grandmother was a spirit-filled, godly woman, but she had about her the pragmatism and practicality that had carried her through near-starvation during the Great Depression and the long years of waiting for her husband to return home from World War II.  As my dad and I enthused over all the biblical signs and prophecies, we laid out the case for her about why we believed the turn of the millennium was going to kick off the long-awaited chain of events that were going to see us going home soon.  She listened graciously.  She then said in an off hand manner, “During and after World War II, when Israel became a nation we were certain the Rapture was imminent.  Just be cautious.”

I remember being initially irritated with her.  I was excited!  I wanted to GO!

For generations, we have read the Scriptures, we have watched the heavens, we have deduced the times.  We have correctly identified thousands of significant prophetic events, compelling numerical distances between dates, extrapolated Hebraic meanings from those numeric dates, and concluded that we are indeed living in the last days, but it is worth noting that at least a dozen times in the last 2000 years the Church has had compelling reasons to believe THEY were also in the last days.  Doug Woodward does an amazing job of outlining the 1666 Rapture Frenzy.  These were not Middle Age superstitious imbeciles, Isaac Newton wrote about the subject.

With the publication of The Harbinger, the discovery of the blood moons and their historical significance, and the availability of free Stellarium software the Watcher community has been on heightened alert since 2008.  As the book of Daniel has been opened, our understanding of the Scriptures of the End Times has multiplied at a breakneck speed, the Holy Spirit has poured out the anointing on His Servants far and wide.

An example of this is the knowledge of the fulfilled Spring Feasts at the first coming of the Lord Jesus.  Those of us who have been at it for awhile take that revelation for granted these days but I have to stress that a mere seven years ago even the most ardent and learned of Watchers was unaware of this amazing fact.  I was blown away in 2013 by the Rosh Hashanah Rapture Theory. Signs of the End of the World? Biblical Wisdom from Billy Graham & Franklin Graham

Natural phenomenon. Silhouette of family sitting and relaxing together.

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. —1 Thessalonians 5:1-5 (ESV)

The world is in a state of upheaval. Racism, terrorism and the threat of nuclear war dominate news headlines.

Also making headlines is the total solar eclipse that will cast a shadow across the U.S. on Monday. The phenomenon hasn’t been seen from coast to coast since 1918—the same year WWI came to an end and Billy Graham was born.

Google searches for “eclipse end times” and “nuclear war” are at an all-time high as news watchers try to interpret the stories scrolling across their screens.

So what do we know about the end of the world? Just as importantly, what don’t we know? And how should we live in light of this knowledge? Let these Biblical messages from Billy Graham and Franklin Graham guide you as you pray for God to give you wisdom and peace. (Click to Site)

Netanyahu: UNESCO’s denial of history is ‘absurd’

PM Netanyahu meets Rwandan President Kagame, both reaffirm friendship, bonds, and commitment to changing the world for the better.

780521

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday morning welcomed Rwandan President Paul Kagame at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem.

Thanking Israeli President Reuven Rivlin for hisspeech, Netanyahu said, “Thank you President Rivlin, for expressing what all Israelis feel when it comes to Rwanda. When it comes to you, President Kagame, your foreign minister, your delegation, you are welcome from the heart.”

“From our heart, to the heart of our people Jerusalem, you are coming back here. This is not the first time. But I can say that in one of our earlier meetings, I voiced the hope that Israel could come back to Africa in a big way, and that Africa could come back to Israel in a big way. And we discussed this for some time. And you said, well, I think I can help. And in fact, you did help.

“I would say you were the indispensable bridge on which we marched to make our return to Africa, step by step, with very sound advice, very, very wise counsel. Together we chartered this course, coming first to West Africa, where we visited among other things your beautiful country which is making impressive progress under your leadership and then other countries as well; and then West Africa. We’ll be making a third trip very soon, our third in one year

“But I have to say that it began with my conversations with President Paul Kagame. So I want to thank you Paul for helping Israel, helping Israel and Africa, helping Israel in general. Thank you, Mr. President.” (Click to Site)
