Psalms 91

Ps 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Who abides under the shadow of the Almighty,
Ps 91:2 He is saying of יהוה (Yahweh), “My refuge and my stronghold, My Elohim, in whom I trust!”
Ps 91:3 For He delivers you from the snare of a trapper, From the destructive pestilence.
Ps 91:4 He covers you with His feathers, And under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour.
Ps 91:5 You are not afraid of the dread by night, Of the arrow that flies by day,
Ps 91:6 Of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Of destruction that ravages at midday.
Ps 91:7 A thousand fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it does not come near you.
Ps 91:8 Only with your eyes you look on, And see the reward of the wrong ones.
Ps 91:9 Because you have made יהוה (Yahweh) – My refuge, the Most High – your dwelling place,
Ps 91:10 No evil befalls you, And a plague does not come near your tent;
Ps 91:11 For He commands His messengers concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.
Ps 91:12 They bear you up in their hands, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
Ps 91:13 You tread upon lion and cobra, Young lion and serpent you trample under foot.
Ps 91:14 “Because he cleaves to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him; I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.
Ps 91:15 “When he calls on Me, I answer him; I am with him in distress; I deliver him and esteem him.
Ps 91:16 “With long life I satisfy him, And show him My deliverance.”

BREATH OF YAH (Ezek. 37) – James Block

Ezek 37:1 The hand of יהוה (Yahweh) was upon me and took me out by the Spirit of יהוה (Yahweh), and set me down in the midst of the valley. And it was filled with bones.
Ezek 37:2 And He made me pass among them, all around, and see, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and see, they were very dry.
Ezek 37:3 And He said to me, “Son of man, would these bones live?” And I said, “O Master יהוה (Yahweh), You know.”
Ezek 37:4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and you shall say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of יהוה (Yahweh)!
Ezek 37:5 Thus said the Master יהוה (Yahweh) to these bones, “See, I am bringing into you a spirit, and you shall live.
Ezek 37:6 “And I shall put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, and cover you with skin and put a spirit in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am יהוה (Yahweh).” ’ ”
Ezek 37:7 And I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise, and there was a rattling. And the bones came together, bone to bone.
Ezek 37:8 And I looked and saw sinews and flesh came upon them, and skin covered them, but there was no spirit in them.
Ezek 37:9 He then said to me, “Prophesy to the spirit, prophesy, son of man, and you shall say to the spirit, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה (Yahweh), “Come from the four winds, O spirit, and breathe on these killed ones, so that they live.” ’ ”
Ezek 37:10 And I prophesied as He commanded me, and the spirit came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, a very great army.
Ezek 37:11 And He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are all the house of Yisra’ĕl. See, they say, ‘Our bones are dry, our expectancy has perished, and we ourselves have been cut off!’
Ezek 37:12 “Therefore prophesy, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה (Yahweh), “See, O My people, I am opening your burial-sites and shall bring you up from your burial-sites, and shall bring you into the land of Yisra’ĕl.
Ezek 37:13 “And you shall know that I am יהוה (Yahweh), when I open your burial-sites, My people, and bring you up from your burial-sites.
Ezek 37:14 “And I shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall settle you in your own land. And you shall know that I יהוה (Yahweh) have spoken, and I have done it,” declares יהוה (Yahweh).’ ”
Ezek 37:15 And the word of יהוה (Yahweh) came to me, saying,
Ezek 37:16 “And you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it, ‘For Yehuḏah and for the children of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Yosĕph, the stick of Ephrayim, and for all the house of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’
Ezek 37:17 “Then bring them together for yourself into one stick, and they shall become one in your hand.
Ezek 37:18 “And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’
Ezek 37:19 say to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה (Yahweh), “See, I am taking the stick of Yosĕph, which is in the hand of Ephrayim, and the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, his companions. And I shall give them unto him, with the stick of Yehuḏah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand.” ’
Ezek 37:20 “And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
Ezek 37:21 “And speak to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה (Yahweh), “See, I am taking the children of Yisra’ĕl from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and shall gather them from all around, and I shall bring them into their land.
Ezek 37:22 “And I shall make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’ĕl. And one sovereign shall be sovereign over them all, and let them no longer be two nations, and let them no longer be divided into two reigns.
Ezek 37:23 “And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their disgusting matters, nor with any of their transgressions. And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them. And they shall be My people, and I be their Elohim,
Ezek 37:24 while Dawiḏ My servant is sovereign over them. And they shall all have one shepherd and walk in My right-rulings and guard My laws, and shall do them.
Ezek 37:25 “And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Ya‛aqoḇ My servant, where your fathers dwelt. And they shall dwell in it, they and their children and their children’s children, forever, and My servant Dawiḏ be their prince forever.
Ezek 37:26 “And I shall make a covenant of peace with them – an everlasting covenant it is with them. And I shall place them and increase them, and shall place My set-apart place in their midst, forever.
Ezek 37:27 “And My Dwelling Place shall be over them. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.
Ezek 37:28 “And the nations shall know that I, יהוה (Yahweh), am setting Yisra’ĕl apart, when My set-apart place is in their midst – forever.” ’ ”

Worship Wins the War

By Sarah Liberman / SarahLiberman.com

Because I live in Israel, people from other countries often ask me if Messianic Jews
suffer persecution in the land of our Savior. I answer that we are mostly free to worship
and express our views, but we definitely experience opposition. The limitations and
difficulties run behind the scenes, and they detrimentally affect daily life.

Recently however, the opposition became blatantly visible. While I was recording a new live-worship album in Jerusalem, an attack arose, the likes of which I have never seen.

We were filming the new Messianic songs concert, featuring the top voices and songwriters from Israel. The purpose of the event is to worship the King of kings—Yeshua HaMashiach.

Outside the hall, violence erupted, directed at the men, women and, sadly, children who were coming to attend. The protestors blocked all the entrances to the auditorium and blew loudly shrieking whistles (whose effect was compounded by their echo in the hallways). They physically attacked and assaulted the concertgoers, spitting, cursing, and spraying them with pepper spray.

As a performer, I had to be escorted by police special forces through clouds of tear
gas, all while being attacked, just to get to the green room. In the violent scuffle,
my in-ear monitors (technical equipment needed for the concert) broke. The resistance was severe and traumatizing for the families trying to get through, as well as for the young singers and musicians on stage.

We faced a mass of angry zealots whom even the police special
forces were not able to contain. Thousands of years ago, the Israelites faced an insurmountable challenge: three enemy armies coming against them.

God said to His people: “Do not be afraid or discouraged… For the battle is not yours, but God’s” (2 Chronicles 20:15). God gave them this strategy: worship. As they worshiped, God brought forth the victory.

In much the same way, instead of allowing intimidation to prosper in our
hearts, we chose to pray and bless those outside that night. Then with great
power and newfound authority, we worshiped and declared the Glory of the
risen King. I and my courageous worship companions in the Land are called to stand the
ground here, in Jerusalem, and with humility face those who with great zeal
oppose the Gospel of Yeshua.

Let me put it this way: You haven’t truly worshiped until you’ve worshiped
in the face of fierce opposition (screaming, yelling, threatening, and physical
attack fueled by hatred). However, our war is not against flesh and blood.
When we choose to bless our opposers, no fear, intimidation, or weapon can
hold us back. We won’t stop singing. Worship Wins the War! (Click to Source)
