Hindu Radical Leader Calls for Forced Sterilization of Christians and Muslims in India

05/03/2019 India (International Christian Concern) – As India continues to go to the polls in what is set to be the biggest democratic election in history, Deva Thakur, vice president of the radical Hindu Mahasabha Party, has called for the forced sterilization of Indian Christians and Muslims. The radical leader also called on Hindus to have more children in order to counter the rise in India’s Christian and Muslim populations.

Speaking to reporters last Saturday, Thakur explained that Christians and Muslims are a threat to Hindus and “have to be forced to undergo sterilization.

Thakur and the Hindu Mahasabha Party are no strangers to controversy. In the past, they have used religiously divisive language to stir up anti-minority sentiments in their campaign to establish India has a Hindu nation.

In particular, Thakur’s recent sterilization statement speaks directly to a fear held by radical Hindu nationalists that India is being overrun by Christians and Muslims. Speaking to Asia News, John Dayal, General Secretary of the All India Christian Council, explained, “For Thakur, the population of Muslims and Christians is growing day by day. To rein this in, the [government] will have to impose emergency [measures] and Muslims and Christians will have to be forced to undergo sterilization so they can’t increase their numbers.

[Hindu radicals] raised a racket when the 2016 census showed the Hindu population under the 80% mark,” Dayal recalled. Although this was a drop less than 1%, it was enough to fuel fears that Muslims and Christians in India would eventually overtake Hindus.

In an election already marred by religiously divisive rhetoric, Thakur’s sterilization statement belies the dark consequences of radical Hindu nationalists coming to power. For many religious minorities in India, it is hoped that the current elections will bring change to the country and bring in a government that respects religious freedom and the rights of minorities. War of the Worlds Religions: Radical Hindu wants to Sterilize Christians and Muslims

Joshua 13:12-13 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.13 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.

Persecution.org is reporting that a Radical Hindu Party running in the Indian election wants to have all Muslims and Christians Sterilized.

Perhaps they should just bring in Planned Parenthood and let them deal with the issue and eradicate the undesirables! After all, they were founded by Eugenicists to eradicate the black population in America! These Radical Hindus and Radical Feminists would get along just fine as the BOTH worship the same god(s) — Lucifer!

This is NOT NEW NEWS. Breitbart reported on this back in 2015!

THOMAS D. WILLIAMS, PH.D. | April 14, 2015 – Deva Sadhvi Thakur, the vice president of the radical Hindu group “All India Hindu Mahasabha,” has launched a series of proposals to curb “threats to the Hindu population of the country,” including forced sterilization of members of minority religions and the installation of statues of Hindu gods and goddesses in churches and mosques.

Thakur has also proposed erecting a statue in Haryana honoring the “patriot” Nathuram Godse, a militant of the Hindu paramilitary group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi in 1948.

In televised comments on April 11, Thakur stated: “The population of Muslims and Christians is growing day by day. To control this, the central government must declare a state of emergency and force Muslims and Christians to undergo sterilization, so that they can’t increase their numbers.”

She also urged Hindus to have more children in order to outgrow the populations of other religions in the world.

Sajan George, the president of the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), has demanded that the woman be arrested for sedition and xenophobia. “These obstinate invectives of Hindu fringe extremists against minorities in India must be strongly condemned,” he said.

George said that Thakur “not only stains the secular Constitution of India, but insults the thousands of people who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our nation.”

Thakur’s drastic proposals come at a particularly bad moment for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a leader of the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who has been endeavoring to assure Indian citizens as well as the international community that he takes religious freedom seriously.

Addressing UNESCO in Paris on April 10, Modi declared that his government “will defend and protect the rights and liberty of every citizen. We will ensure that every citizen, of every faith, culture and creed has an equal place in our society.”

He also said the strength of the nation “is determined by the joined hands of every citizen, and real progress is measured through empowerment of the weakest.”

Sajan George accused the Prime Minister of hypocrisy and indifference to the plight of non-Hindus, calling his assurances “a facade to avoid condemnation by the international community.”

Other Hindus have also expressed their anger with Thakur, saying that with her “stupid comments,” she “gave all Hindus a bad name.”

Andrew Bieszad at Shoebat.org wrote an article about it. He is right in his analysis, and seems to be a good guy. To bad he himself is in a FALSE Religion, that being Catholicism! I do not recommend you visit the Shoebat website. I check to see what idiocy is written daily mainly by the whacko son Ted!

Hindus are a massive threat to Christians in so far as physical safety is concerned. Ideologically speaking, Christianity is a threat to Hinduism because it specifically threatens the power of the Brahmins and the Kshatriyas, the top two classes who collude with each other and have colluded for thousands of years to rule India by using the false Hindu religion, which is a creation of the Aryans, as Christianity says that a man’s worth comes from his submission to the will of God, not from his race or birth. Many of the converts to Christianity regardless of the form in India have come from the Dalit (outcasts) and Shudra (laborer/commoner) classes because they are the most oppressed in India.

Islam likewise poses a threat because while Islam is a false religion, Islam still teaches that a man’s stance before God as well as his humanity comes from his belief in and practice of Islam. While there are theological problems with this, such as how Islam is able to deny the humanity of non-Muslims and only Muslims have full humanity per Islamic theological teaching, Islam still does not discriminate between race or caste, as all Muslims are considered equal in terms of their dignity before Allah. Even this is a relief for many Hindus from the racialism of Hinduism, and is why there are so many Muslims in the subcontinent, remembering that the three major nations- Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh -all come from the same admixtures of peoples.

Hindu nationalists want to wage a genocidal war against Muslims and Christians in the name of establishing a Hindu ethnostate based on racialism. They want to wipe out Christians and Muslims alike. Those who support this movement, which is referred to as the Hindutva, are copying their former English overlords and the Americans by using anti-immigration politics as well as criticism of the open degeneracy of Islam to justify their political advancement.

Nobody can deny that Islam is evil, but so also is Hinduism, and one does not solve one evil by replacing it with another.

The Hindu nationalists are shameless, even going so far as to use the Church bombings in Sri Lanka to foment anti-Muslim sentiment while they also are plotting the demise of the very Christians they would appear by their statements to defend.

Just like the nationalists of Europe, the Hindu nationalists care only for power and nothing for the good will of their fellow man, including fellow Hindus.

Christians who are living in India right now would be wise to heed the current warnings just as certain people did when the National Socialists took power in Germany in the 1930s. For those who have already left and have family or friends in India, or for those who cannot leave, one would be wise to make contingency plans NOW because the Hindu Nationalists are making plans to do to them what the National Socialists did to the slavic peoples of Eastern Europe and many Jews, or what the Bolshevik movment did in Russia and Ukraine did to many a farmer and man of good will.

It is said that the Hindu nationalists want to act under the cover of a major global conflict. As the world moves closer to war, one would be wise to keep a close watch on India and not to forget the Christians who are living there, for while there will be many people who will be in need of help, there will be many over there who will be without help in a time of serious need. UK: Radical Muslims Welcome, Persecuted Christians Need Not Apply

by Raymond Ibrahim

  • In rejecting the claim for asylum of a man who converted from Islam to Christianity, and presumably compelling his return to Iran, the British government is effectively sentencing him to death.
  • “[O]ut of 4,850 Syrian refugees accepted for resettlement by the Home Office in 2017, only eleven were Christian, representing just 0.2% of all Syrian refugees accepted by the UK.” — Barnabas Fund.
  • At the same time, the Home Office allowed a Pakistani cleric, Syed Muzaffar Shah Qadri, considered so extreme that he is banned even from his native Pakistan, to come and lecture in UK mosques.
  • “It’s unbelievable that these persecuted Christians who come from the cradle of Christianity are being told there is no room at the inn, when the UK is offering a welcome to Islamists who persecute Christians…. There is a serious systemic problem when Islamist leaders who advocate persecution of Christians are given the green light telling them that their applications for UK visas will be looked on favourably, while visas for short pastoral visits to the UK are denied to Christian leaders whose churches are facing genocide. That is an urgent issue that Home Office ministers need to grasp and correct.” — Dr. Martin Parsons, Barnabas Fund.

In two unrelated cases, the United Kingdom denied asylum to persecuted Christians by bizarrely citing the Bible and Jesus. Both Christians, a man and a woman, are former Muslims who were separately seeking asylum from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the ninth-worst persecutor of Christians — particularly of those who were Muslims and converted to Christianity.

UK asylum worker Nathan Stevens recently shared their stories. In his rejection letter from the UK’s Home Office, which is in charge of immigration, the Iranian man was told that biblical passages were “inconsistent” with his claim to have converted to Christianity after discovering it was a “peaceful” faith. The letter citedseveral biblical excerpts, including from Exodus, Leviticus, and Matthew, presumably to show that the Bible is violent; it said Revelation was “filled with imagery of revenge, destruction, death and violence.” The governmental letter then concluded:

“These examples are inconsistent with your claim that you converted to Christianity after discovering it is a ‘peaceful’ religion, as opposed to Islam which contains violence, rage and revenge.”

In response, Nathan Stevens, the asylum seeker’s caseworker, tweeted:

“… I’ve seen a lot over the years, but even I was genuinely shocked to read this unbelievably offensive diatribe being used to justify a refusal of asylum.

Stevens added:

“Whatever your views on faith, how can a government official arbitrarily pick bits out of a holy book and then use them to trash someone’s heartfelt reason for coming to a personal decision to follow another faith?

There seemed no awareness that, despite occasional verses of violence in the Bible, its main message, in both the Old and New Testaments, is to be found in Leviticus 19:18: “Love thy neighbor as thyself.”

In rejecting the claim for asylum of this man who converted from Islam to Christianity, and presumably compelling his return to Iran, the British government is effectively sentencing him to death.

In the second case, an Iranian female asylum seeker was informed in her rejection letter:

“You affirmed in your AIR [Asylum Interview Record] that Jesus is your saviour, but then claimed that He would not be able to save you from the Iranian regime. It is therefore considered that you have no conviction in your faith and your belief in Jesus is half-hearted.”

Recently interviewed on BBC Radio 4, the woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said:

“When I was in Iran I converted to Christianity and the situation changed and the government were [sic] looking for me and I had to flee from Iran…. In my country if someone converts to Christianity their punishment is death or execution.”

Concerning the asylum process, she said that whenever she responded to her Home Office interviewer, “he was either chuckling or maybe just kind of mocking when he was talking to me…. [H]e asked me why Jesus didn’t help you from the Iranian regime or Iranian authorities.”

These two recently exposed cases appear to be symptomatic not only of a breathtaking lack of logic that flies in the face of history — God obviously did not always save those who believed in Him — but also what increasing appears to be a venomous Home Office bias against Christians. For instance, when Sister Ban Madleen, a Christian nun in Iraq who had fled the Islamic State, applied to the Home Office to visit her sick sister in Britain, she was denied a visa — twice. Another report cites a number of other Christian orderlies who were denied visas, including another nun with a PhD in Biblical Theology from Oxford; a nun denied for not having a personal bank account, and a Catholic priest denied for not being married.

In another case, the Home Office not only denied entry to three heroic Christian leaders — archbishops celebrated for their efforts to aid persecuted Christians in Syria and Iraq who had been invited to attend the consecration of the UK’s first Syriac Cathedral, an event attended by Prince Charles — but also mockingly told them there was “no room at the inn.”

Even longtime Christian residents are being deported. Earlier this year, Asher Samson, 41, a Christian man who had been residing in the UK for 15 years and undergoing theological studies, was deported back to Pakistan — where he had earlier been “beaten and threatened by Islamic extremists.” (Such treatment is normative for Christians in Pakistan, the world’s fifth-worst persecutor of Christians.) Samson’s former UK pastor said:

“I’ve received some messages from him. He’s very scared, he’s fearful for his life…. He’s in hiding in Pakistan and his family are terribly worried for him…. At the moment he has no funds to live on — he can’t work …. [T]he UK is sending people back to these countries where their lives are in danger.”

By contrast, a report from the Barnabas Fund found that in offering asylum, the UK “appears to discriminate in favour of Muslims” instead of Christians. Statistics confirm this allegation:

“Figures obtained by Barnabas Fund under a Freedom of Information request show that out of 4,850 Syrian refugees accepted for resettlement by the Home Office in 2017, only eleven were Christian, representing just 0.2% of all Syrian refugees accepted by the UK.”

Statistics from earlier years have shown the same disparity. Although Christians accounted for approximately 10% of Syria’s prewar population, the overwhelming majority of Syrians granted asylum by the Home Office were Sunni Muslims. Such an imbalance appears even more bizarre when one realizes that the Islamic State (ISIS) is itself a Sunni organization that targets non-Sunnis, primarily Yazidis, Christians and Shiite Muslims, all minority groups that the U.S. government acknowledges have been targets of genocide.

As Lord David Alton of Liverpool, a life peer in the House of Lords, wrote to Home Secretary Sajid Javid, who heads the Home Office:

“It is widely accepted that Christians, who constituted around 10 per cent of Syria’s pre-war population, were specifically targeted by jihadi rebels and continue to be at risk…. As last year’s statistics more than amply demonstrate, this [ratio imbalance between Muslim and Christian refugees taken in] is not a statistical blip. It shows a pattern of discrimination that the Government has a legal duty to take concrete steps to address.”

Considering that persecuted Christian minorities — including priests and nuns — are denied visas, one might conclude that perhaps the Home Office just has extremely stringent asylum requirements. This notion is quickly dispelled, however, when one sees that the Home Office regularly grants visas and refugee status to extremist Muslims. One has yet to hear about Muslim asylum seekers being denied visas because the Koran is too violent, or because they do “not have enough faith” in Muhammad.

Ahmed Hassan, despite having no papers — and despite telling the Home Office that “he had been trained as an ISIS soldier” — was still granted asylum two years before he launched a terrorist attack in a London train station that left 30 injured in September 2017.

The Home Office also allowed a foreign Muslim cleric, Hamza Sodagar, to enter and lecture in London, even though he advocates beheading, burning, or throwing homosexuals from cliffs.

In addition, according to another report, “British teenagers are being forced to marry abroad and are raped and impregnated while the Home Office ‘turns a blind eye’ by handing visas to their [mostly Muslim] husbands.”

The case of Asia Bibi — a Christian mother of five who has spent the last decade of her life on death row in Pakistan for challenging the authority of Muhammad — is perhaps emblematic of the immigration situation in the UK. After she was finally acquitted last November, Muslims rioted throughout Pakistan; in one march, more than 11,000 Muslims demanded her instant and public hanging.

As Pakistanis make up the majority of all Muslims in the UK — Sajid Javid the head of the Home Office is himself Pakistani — when they got wind that the UK might offer Asia Bibi asylum, they too rioted. As a result, Prime Minister Theresa May personally blocked Bibi’s asylum application — “despite UK playing host to [Muslim] hijackers, extremists and rapists,” one headline read. The UK, in other words, was openly allowing “asylum policy to be dictated to by a Pakistan mob,” reported the Guardian, “after it was confirmed it urged the Home Office not to grant Asia Bibi political asylum in the UK…”

At the same time, the Home Office allowed a Pakistani cleric, Syed Muzaffar Shah Qadri, considered so extreme that he is banned even from his native Pakistan, to come and lecture in UK mosques. Qadri celebrated the slaughter of a politician because he had defended Asia Bibi.

In short, local Muslim opinion apparently plays a major role in the UK’s immigration policy: radical Muslims are welcomed with open arms; Christian “infidels” need not apply.

Commenting on the difficulties Christian minority asylum seekers have with the Home Office, Dr. Martin Parsons, the head of research at the Barnabas Fund, remarking that “visas were granted in July to two Pakistani Islamic leaders who have called for the killing of Christians accused of blasphemy,” summarized the situation:

“It’s unbelievable that these persecuted Christians who come from the cradle of Christianity are being told there is no room at the inn, when the UK is offering a welcome to Islamists who persecute Christians…. There is a serious systemic problem when Islamist leaders who advocate persecution of Christians are given the green light telling them that their applications for UK visas will be looked on favourably, while visas for short pastoral visits to the UK are denied to Christian leaders whose churches are facing genocide. That is an urgent issue that Home Office ministers need to grasp and correct.” (Click to Source)

All the religious massacres you didn’t hear about over the past year have one thing in common… Christians were killed instead of Muslims

Sunday, March 17, 2019 by: Ethan Huff

(Natural News) On January 27, Muslim extremists bombed a Roman Catholic cathedral on the Philippine island of Jolo, killing some 20 people and injuring dozens of others. But you probably didn’t hear about this horrific religious massacre because the perpetrators were violent Islamic terrorists that targeted Christians, which means the Leftist media pretty much completely ignored it.

Though they often go unreported, there have actually been hundreds of similar such attacks by Muslims against Christians just within the past year alone, and almost none of them were given national, let alone global, media attention. That’s because the only tragedies that ever get reported by the fake news media are those that propagate an anti-white, anti-gun, and anti-Christian narrative.

Take the most recent alleged gun massacre in New Zealand, for instance. The fake news media won’t shut up about it, for one, and many of these same propaganda outlets are actually making up false narratives about the alleged shooter simply because he’s a white male who supposedly went on a rampage against Muslims while they were worshiping in their mosques.

It’s the perfect scenario for the Leftist media to go nuts with all sorts of crazy narratives blaming white people, conservatives, and even President Trump and his “rhetoric” for this evil act of violence, while also throwing in anti-Second Amendment talking points while they’re at it. But these same disinformation mouthpieces were nowhere to be found when Filipino Christians were murdered in cold blood in the name of Allah – why is that?

After all, both incidents are similar in that a religious group was targeted by deranged terrorists who openly admitted that they were out for innocent blood. The difference, however, is that in the eyes of the Left, it’s perfectly alright for the lives of Christians to be terminated by extremists because that’s considered to be “tolerance.” But when Muslims are targeted, it’s automatically “Islamophobia” and “racism” by white people against brown people.

Muslims murder Christians and other innocents all the time, but the fake news media ignores it all

The aforementioned religious terror attack that took place in the Philippines was hardly an isolated incident, by the way. It happens all the time, all over the world – though the average person remains completely unaware of it, thanks to a perpetual mainstream media blackout designed to cover up the truth.

As of this writing, there have been 453 Islamic terror attacks in 31 different countries so far this year – and these are just the ones that have been reported. In total, just in 2019 so far, there have been a shocking 1,956 people murdered by Islamic terrorists, and another 2,019 injured, according to TheReligionOfPeace.com.

Had each of these incidents been reportedly as widely and aggressively as the most recent New Zealand attack, the general public would clearly see the threat of radical Islamic terrorism, and perhaps call for Muslims to be banned from the country much in the same way that they’re demanding guns be banned. But because such incidents are kept under wraps, there’s a widespread illusion among Leftists that everything is a-okay, and that Muslims are just perfect little darlings who assimilate peacefully into Western society.

Everyday Leftists are also guilty of willfully covering up this inconvenient truth, especially as they seek to legislatively stop “hate crimes” and “hate speech” against all people groups in this country except, you guessed it: white people and Christian people.

In other words, whites and Christians are now the only unprotected members of American society who are always guilty of everything that’s bad, according to Democrats, and who are never unfairly targeted or mistreated by anyone else due to their “privilege.” Meanwhile, Muslim terrorists are allowed to wreak havoc all across the globe in the name of “diversity.” (Click to Source)

Former Muslim: Dreams of Jesus, Miracle Healings Leading Millions to Christ Despite Persecution

By Stoyan Zaimov , Christian Post Reporter |

Men say their prayers during Eid al-Fitr at the Badshahi mosque in Lahore, Pakistan.

A pastor who has started hundreds of churches in Pakistan, where he suffered persecution for his faith, has chronicled his extraordinary journey in a new book where he says that divine healings and prophetic dreams are leading many Muslims to Jesus Christ.

Pastor M El Masih, who started Cry of the Persecuted Church and now lives with his family in the United States, shared in an interview with The Christian Post some of his most difficult challenges growing up in Pakistan, where he studied and followed Islam and the Quran for years.

In his book, From Persecution to the Promised Land, Masih, who has spoken in thousands of churches and universities, explains that he grew up in a nominally Christian family but embraced Islam at one point in his pursuit of truth, even becoming a teacher at an Islamic high school.

Desperation and a lack of peace haunted him, however, and it was through the help of other believers and a pastor sharing the Gospel of Jesus with him that he decided to become a Christian in 1993.

He faced heavy persecution for his newfound faith, however, and was treated as a second-class citizen by the Muslim majority, a situation that continues to this day for Christians and religious minorities in Pakistan.

Masih said that the Gospel is reaching many in the Muslim world. He added that even if Islam is growing worldwide due to high birthrates, over 6 million Muslims each year become Christians in Islamic countries.

Many Muslims are making decisions to convert, and not necessarily because of the Bible or a preacher who has reached them, but because Jesus Himself has visited them in dreams and visions, he noted. This is a testimony which has been echoed by other Christians in persecuted regions worldwide.

In the book, Masih talks about the rise of his ministry and his efforts in establishing churches. He also says that through the power of God, he has witnessed and taken part in several healing miracles.

He shares of instances where through prayer in the name of Jesus, he has seen paralyzed women stand up and start walking; and in another case for a nearly blind man, Jesus “restored his sight immediately.”

The pastor also warns of various dangers facing Christians around the world, including persecution at the hands of Islamists, whom he says have falsely convinced many in the West that Islam is not a threat.

Additionally, he points to spiritual threats that come from demons, witchcraft, and satanic forces, which he said are not fantasy, but real.

Below is an edited transcript of Masih’s interview with The Christian Post about his book, From Persecution to the Promised Land.

CP: In the book, you point out that a lot of media in the U.S. don’t want to say that Islam is violent. Where do you think this reluctance comes from? Is it an ignorance of the Quran or is there a more political reason?

Masih: I believe it’s actually both. There are really three reasons why the media does not want to say that Islam is violent.

First, people do not know much about the Islamic religion, what it stands for, what the beliefs are, because they rely on the liberals to give them correct information. They see those practicing Islam in the West show a face of calm and peace. When in the minority, as Muhammad was at first, they work well with others, showing a peaceful side. But when the numbers get stronger there becomes no freedom of speech for those who are of other religions.

If Islam was truly a religion of peace it should be shown and practiced this way in both the East and the West. If you really read the Quran you will see the black and white teaching in the Quran which is anti-all religion, especially Jews, Christians and idol worshipers. The Quran is where the religion of the Muslims comes from.

Second, people in the West, for political reasons, are always trying to be politically correct in order to receive those much needed votes. This causes them to stay away from topics such as religion. Even those who voice their concerns through the media, especially those [media outlets] whose majority shares of their companies are owned by Eastern countries, will not print many stories on this controversial subject.

Third, there is much fear involved, which promoted by the Muslim cleric decrees, against those in opposition to their religion. This will cause people to think long and hard before they speak against Muslims.

CP: Of all of the persecution and different challenges you faced while growing up in Pakistan, what would you say was the most difficult for you to deal with?

Masih: The most difficult, I believe, was the daily discrimination that I suffered once I stepped out of my home. Facing non-Christians as we went shopping or anywhere in public, for that matter, we were treated like second-class citizens. It was very painful emotionally and difficult to live through the persecution.

You would start questioning who you really were because it was easy to lose our true identity. There was also always fear of being discovered as a Christian. We tried to hide that fact as best that we could.

CP: You mention that Jesus has appeared in dreams and visions to many Muslims who later became Christians. How does one tell the difference between a dream that is actually from Jesus and dreams that are not?

Masih: Any dreams which align with the Word of God are from Jesus. If you have a dream and claim to meet Jesus, your life will be dramatically changed. The truth of God’s Word will give that person strength to lay their lives down for Jesus, if called to do so. The apostles and many others, even today, were willing to die for the truth of Jesus Christ.

CP: There have been many stories of people receiving dreams of Jesus and deciding to follow Him, especially in non-Western countries. Why do you think such dreams are much more common for people outside of America and the West?

Masih: The No. 1 reason is it’s very dangerous for anyone to preach the Word of God face-to-face in non-Western countries. God reveals things through dreams to evangelists/pastors. People in the East are more uneducated and unable to read the Bible so God uses this method to reach them.

The second reason is that people are very faithful in the East, placing themselves in positions to see the signs of God by studying the Word of God. Eastern people watch for the signs and miracles to show that the Word of God is alive.  It is a privilege, one not everyone can share in — to own a Bible in the East.

In the West, people look more for wisdom, like the Greeks of old. They do not always rely on faith, which can’t be seen.

Christians hold placards as they chant slogans to condemn Quetta Church attack during a protest in Peshawar, Pakistan December 17, 2017.

CP: As you mention, miracle healings are sometimes a controversial subject. What would you say to people who are discouraged from believing that such healings are possible, due to their distrust of prosperity gospel preachers?

Masih: As Psalm 127:1 states, “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” The Lord our God is mighty. We have heard that money is the root of all evil. Jesus talks about always giving freely the prayers and healings, no fees are to be charged for attending the services.

When healing and deliverance becomes too much of a business we don’t always see the healing and the true miracles occur. To know that the healing and miracles have truly occurred is to watch the persons walk. Have they truly changed?

Unfortunately, some use the Gospel to make money, not to put back into the ministry to save more souls, but for greedy intent. In the East, the people are poor. They can’t afford to go to the doctor so they call upon God and He brings healing when they call upon Him.

In the East, doctors and hospitals are not widely available so it is more common for God to heal the people. In the West to have doctors and hospitals available it is a miracle. So spiritually, it is a blessing from God to have so many hospitals and doctors. God is still bringing the best healing in the West with the doctors, using them for His healing. Glory to God.

CP: What would you say are the biggest things that American Christians don’t know or don’t understand about the persecution people suffer in Pakistan?

Masih: Not all people in the West understand what it feels like to live in a cage 24/7. Suffering comes in the form of mental, social and physical persecution. Because of our beliefs we are treated like a second-class citizen. There is no freedom of speech or religion. It is not easy to comprehend the pain Christian believers go through anywhere they live, as a minority in their nation.

For example, if you go to a restaurant and the owners who are not of Christian faith find out you are Christians, they either refuse to serve you, or give you separate cups just for your kind. Even in the 21st century those that do not follow Jesus and His walk in love also do not understand. God sees His children as all the same. He judges us through the work of Jesus.

CP: What is the one message you would most like people to take away from your book?

Masih: Don’t take freedom for granted. Appreciate it and use it wisely. Don’t use it to sin but use it to win the lost people for Jesus.

Don’t wound yourself when people say bad things against you. Have the attitude of Jesus, asking God to forgive others. Learn to love your enemies and those who hate you. The main message is to love all people regardless of race or religion. (Click to Source)

The cost of following Yeshua in Israel and around the world

The now internationally recognized “World Watch List” calls out the worst 50 countries for persecuting followers of Jesus each year.  It should be no surprise that the top spot is held by North Korea, the same as it has been for the last seventeen years. Open Doors, the organization that compiles the list, says,

“Each year, the World Watch List provides a searing glimpse into the 50 places around the world where it costs the most to be a Christian. In some countries, familial and social pressure make it terribly difficult to follow Jesus, while in other places, faith in Christ is threatened by daily risk of violence and physical oppression.”

Israel is barely visible on the World Watch List map of persecution, which marks countries from yellow to red indicating increasing levels of severity and danger.

Zooming into the Middle East, you can just make out a thin, grey strip surrounded by a sea of orange.

Israel is, by and large, a safe place for the disciples of Yeshua. However, this is only in comparison to nations where Christians are regularly experiencing violence and death for their faith.

But it would be wrong to think that there is no cost to following Yeshua in Israel. There certainly is.

Though we are not killed for our faith in Israel, and very rarely physically hurt, opposition through social, political, judicial and economic means puts believers under great pressure.

The religious leaders of Israel are just as threatened by Yeshua today as they were when He walked among them two thousand years ago.

We received a message from believers who have recently opened a “Walk-In House” ministry center near Beersheva in the south of Israel. This is a first hand account of what persecution in Israel looks like, from believers in Dimona:

“From the first day we felt the tension, which increased every day. This week a group of demonstrators gathered in front of our “ Walk-in House”, summoned by the rabbis.

Our windows were smeared, we were photographed and filmed. The rabbis screamed to Albert, “You are Amalek! Haman! And they must be killed!”  Esther was called the representative of satan… and much more. We were provoked and the name of Jesus was blasphemed. The rabbis incited the people against us. One rabbi started a slander campaign. Yesterday, someone from the Yad L’Achim [an anti-missionary organization] stood in front of the door, intimidating us the whole time.

The police were called by bystanders who were supporting us. The police officers told us that we had to follow them to the police station to write a statement. They escorted us to their police car. We have been four times at the police station this week, and every time we had to tell the whole story to a different police officer. This coming Sunday we will have a meeting with the head officer of the police station.

Some shop owners went to the mayor to asked him to stop this ‘’stupid’’ behaviour of those rabbis, but they told them that’s it’s now a case between the rabbinate of Dimona and the police.”

Sadly, Albert and Esther are not the only ones to experience this kind of harassment. The situation today is far better than it has been in previous decades, but believers especially in southern cities such as Arad and Beersheva have experienced considerable trouble. I know one couple in Arad who are surrounded by crowds of Orthodox Jews every week when they walk to their Messianic congregation. They are shouted at, cursed and spat upon. Their infant daughter was called a rat by a shrieking protester, yelling into her buggy. There have been break ins and vandalism, and the judicial system will rarely decide in favor of the Messianics, who tend to come out of the ordeal with huge bills to pay and no compensation or redress.

The justice system is also profoundly tipped against Messianic Jews who want to immigrate Israel, both denying those who believe in Yeshua the right to apply in the first place, and even attempting to turf out those who make it through, stripping them of their citizenship.

There are Israeli believers who have been fired from their jobs, Messianic businesses shut down, and on extremely rare occasions, there have been firebombs thrown into buildings. I know a man who was thrown down stone stairs for talking about Yeshua, and of course if an Orthodox Jew comes to faith they will more than likely be cut off completely from their family, and ostracized from their community. A funeral is held for them, and they are considered dead.

It is against this reality that it is all the more remarkable that the body of Messiah just continues to grow and grow in Israel, and that more and more people are coming out in support of believers.

Messianic believers have hit the mainstream media several times in the last couple of years, with varying degrees of acceptance. News channels have done media segments about our faith, before being unceremoniously pulled due to threats from religious leaders. There have been a number of very gifted Messianic singers on national talent spotting television shows being quite open about their faith, and recently a Messianic wedding was covered in an Israeli website, including details about what the couple believed. The article explained in a positive way how their wedding ceremony combined elements of traditional Jewish wedding along with their faith in Yeshua. Generally speaking, society is still quite hostile to the idea that a Jew can believe in Yeshua, but the news is spreading more and more all the time, that whether they are accepted or not, tens of thousands of Israeli Jews do, in fact, follow Yeshua as their Messiah.

Albert added in his report,

“All the negative attention and riots cause people to come and ask questions and they are so brave to come in and show their solidarity towards us! The wall painting with the text from Psalm 42:1 “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God”, attracts the attention of many, both friends and foes!

We would like to ask you to struggle with us in praying for a breakthrough. It is a battle of lies and truth, darkness and light. The love of God overcomes the darkness! Please pray that the Kingdom of God will become visible here in Dimona. May all of us be able to stand firm in His victorious power! Praise the Lord for He is good, His goodness endures forever!

”Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a disgrace in any society”. (Proverbs 14:34)

Righteousness… That is we want to see this in our society.”

Amen to that. (Click to Source)

Chinese Christians Must Choose To Worship The State Or Jesus

Worship The State Or Jesus: Chinese Christians Under Pressure

Many Christians in the United States and around the world feel free to put up Christian symbols, such as crosses, scripture passages, and pictures of Jesus, inside and outside their homes.
Christians in Southeastern China, however, were recently told by state officials to take down these images and symbols.   Instead, they were given posters of President Xi Jinping to display.
Most of them complied since, in impoverished rural areas, they feared the loss of government support.
In another incident in 2015, over 1,200 crosses were torn down from church buildings in Zhejiang Province and hundreds of house church leaders were arrested.  “Many rural people are ignorant,” said one official.  “They think God is their Savior.”  The Communist Party prefers that people look to the state for help.
It appears that the Communist Party in China is gearing up to crack down on Christians who are independent of the state-sanctioned church.
Since the majority of Chinese Christians operate in underground “house churches” outside of government control, officials are concerned that these groups could create negative views of the Party.
The state-approved church, sometimes known as the “Three Self Church” in connection with China’s Three Self Patriotic Movement, does not allow complete freedom of worship.
For instance, Wu Weiqing, pastor of Haidian Church in Beijing, has said, “We have to remember first of all we are a citizen of this country.  And we are a citizen of the Kingdom of God. That comes second.”   For most Christians, that philosophy is contrary to true faith.
A new law is scheduled to take effect on February 2 that will prohibit unofficial religious bodies from teaching children, receiving donations and posting information online.  Government officials say that they are concerned about “extremist thought.”
Some observers are predicting that China will soon contain the largest Christian population of any other nation.   Christians already outnumber members of the Communist Party.  But Xi Jinping has said that Party members themselves “should be firm Marxist atheists and must never find their values and beliefs in any religion.”
In addition, he has said that China’s youth should “believe in science, study science, spread science, and… have a correct worldview.”
Although the Communist Party in China is reluctant to face worldwide criticism, they are clearly drawing lines that could create conflict. Church leaders would do well to keep a close watch on these developments.
Not long ago, a pastor gave an impassioned plea for the persecuted church in China, that God would grant them freedom and liberty to worship. After the service, he was approached by a Chinese national who happened to be visiting that day.
He thanked him for his concern but, said he, in China we do not pray for political change or relief from persecution. Rather, we pray that God will give us grace to endure and to glorify His Name.  How many western Christians would be so bold in their faith?
