Prayers for the ranchers out there in South Dakota after historic BLIZZARD buries cattle in feet of snow!

Prayers for the ranchers out there, we sure need a few for Three Mile Creek… South Dakota 2019 blizzard. Thank you to Dale Jessie Vocu for sharing this images of digging in the snow for unburied the cows for the strong winter blizzard this past Wednesday.

South Dakota’s governor closed state offices across much of the state as blizzard conditions move in from the West on Wednesday.

Offices in 49 of South Dakota’s 66 counties were closed Thursday as the National Weather Service warns of blizzard and winter-storm conditions a day after a massive late-winter storm hit Colorado.

Gov. Kristi Noem said only essential personnel in the affected state offices should go to work.

Heavy rain caused flooding in southern and eastern South Dakota, with water covering some roads and highways. Rain and melting snow have caused similar conditions in Iowa.

On Wednesday, blizzard conditions forced the closure of the Rapid City Regional Airport and a 263-mile stretch of Interstate 90 from Chamberlain to the Wyoming border.

The BOMB CYCLONE has broken many records… Even that of burying cattle in feet of snow! Have some prayers for them! (Click to Source)

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons “STRONGLY OPPOSES” Mandatory Vaccines

by Daisy Luther

March 6, 2019

Tensions are high regarding vaccines lately.

Due to a measles outbreak in the United States, frightened people are pushing an agenda to take an important medical decision out of the hands of parents. They’re calling for federally mandated vaccines. They’re calling for the shaming of parents who have chosen not to vaccinate their children.

The hysteria is running high, fueled by fear and memes.

Whether you opt to vaccinate or not to vaccinate, I think we can agree we all want what’s best for our children.

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons opposes federally mandated vaccines.

An important letter was presented last week to the Senate subcommittee that is discussing federal laws that force parents to vaccinate their children. The statement below is from The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and they have come out strongly in opposition to the possibility of federally mandated vaccines.

No matter what your opinion is on vaccinating children, please read this.

To:  Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, House Energy and Commerce Committee

Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions

Re: Statement federal vaccine mandates

Feb. 26, 2019

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) strongly opposes federal interference in medical decisions, including mandated vaccines. After being fully informed of the risks and benefits of a medical procedure, patients have the right to reject or accept that procedure. The regulation of medical practice is a state function, not a federal one. Governmental preemption of patients’ or parents’ decisions about accepting drugs or other medical interventions is a serious intrusion into individual liberty, autonomy, and parental decisions about child-rearing.

A public health threat is the rationale for the policy on mandatory vaccines. But how much of a threat is required to justify forcing people to accept government-imposed risks? Regulators may intervene to protect the public against a one-in-one million risk of a threat such as cancer from an involuntary exposure to a toxin, or-one-in 100,000 risk from a voluntary (e.g. occupational) exposure. What is the risk of death, cancer, or crippling complication from a vaccine? There are no rigorous safety studies of sufficient power to rule out a much lower risk of complications, even one in 10,000, for vaccines. Such studies would require an adequate number of subjects, a long duration (years, not days), an unvaccinated control group (“placebo” must be truly inactive such as saline, not the adjuvant or everything-but-the-intended-antigen), and consideration of all adverse health events (including neurodevelopment disorders).

Vaccines are necessarily risky, as recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court and by Congress. The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has paid some $4 billion in damages, and high hurdles must be surmounted to collect compensation. The damage may be so devastating that most people would prefer restored function to a multimillion-dollar damage award.

The smallpox vaccine is so dangerous that you can’t get it now, despite the weaponization of smallpox. Rabies vaccine is given only after a suspected exposure or to high-risk persons such as veterinarians. The whole-cell pertussis vaccine was withdrawn from the U.S. market, a decade later than from the Japanese market, because of reports of severe permanent brain damage. The acellular vaccine that replaced it is evidently safer, though somewhat less effective.

The risk: benefit ratio varies with the frequency and severity of disease, vaccine safety, and individual patient factors. These must be evaluated by patient and physician, not imposed by a government agency.

Measles is the much-publicized threat used to push for mandates, and is probably the worst threat among the vaccine-preventable illnesses because it is so highly contagious. There are occasional outbreaks, generally starting with an infected individual coming from somewhere outside the U.S. The majority, but by no means all the people who catch the measles have not been vaccinated. Almost all make a full recovery, with robust, life-long immunity. The last measles death in the U.S. occurred in 2015, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC). Are potential measles complications including death in persons who cannot be vaccinated due to immune deficiency a  justification for revoking the rights of all Americans and establishing a precedent for still greater restrictions on our right to give—or withhold—consent to medical interventions? Clearly not.

Many serious complications have followed MMR vaccination, and are listed in the manufacturers’ package insert, though a causal relationship may not have been proved. According to a 2012 report by the Cochrane Collaboration, “The design and reporting of safety outcomes in MMR vaccine studies, both pre- and post-marketing, are largely inadequate” (cited by the National Vaccine Information Center).

Mandate advocates often assert a need for a 95% immunization rate to achieve herd immunity. However, Mary Holland and Chase Zachary of NYU School of Law argue, in the Oregon Law Review, that because complete herd immunity and measles eradication are unachievable, the better goal is for herd effect and disease control. The best outcome would result, they argue, from informed consent, more open communication, and market-based approaches.

Even disregarding adverse vaccine effects, the results of near-universal vaccination have not been completely positive. Measles, when it does occur, is four to five times worse than in pre-vaccination times, according to Lancet Infectious Diseases, because of the changed age distribution: more adults, whose vaccine-based immunity waned, and more infants, who no longer receive passive immunity from their naturally immune mother to protect them during their most vulnerable period.

Measles is a vexing problem, and more complete, forced vaccination will likely not solve it. Better public health measures—earlier detection, contact tracing, and isolation; a more effective, safer vaccine; or an effective treatment are all needed. Meanwhile, those who choose not to vaccinate now might do so in an outbreak, or they can be isolated. Immunosuppressed patients might choose isolation in any event because vaccinated people can also possibly transmit measles even if not sick themselves.

Issues that Congress must consider:

  • Manufacturers are virtually immune from product liability, so the incentive to develop safer products is much diminished. Manufacturers may even refuse to make available a product believed to be safer, such as monovalent measles vaccine in preference to MMR (measles-mumps-rubella). Consumer refusal is the only incentive to do better.
  • There are enormous conflicts of interest involving lucrative relationships with vaccine purveyors.
  • Research into possible vaccine adverse effects is being quashed, as is dissent by professionals.
  • There are many theoretical mechanisms for adverse effects from vaccines, especially in children with developing brains and immune systems. Note the devastating effects of Zika or rubella virus on developing humans, even though adults may have mild or asymptomatic infections. Many vaccines contain live viruses intended to cause a mild infection. Children’s brains are developing rapidly—any interference with the complex developmental symphony could be ruinous.
  • Vaccines are neither 100% safe nor 100% effective. Nor are they the only available means to control the spread of disease.

AAPS believes that liberty rights are unalienable. Patients and parents have the right to refuse vaccination, although potentially contagious persons can be restricted in their movements (e.g. as with Ebola), as needed to protect others against a clear and present danger. Unvaccinated persons with no exposure to a disease and no evidence of a disease are not a clear or present danger.

AAPS represents thousands of physicians in all specialties nationwide. It was founded in 1943 to protect private medicine and the patient-physician relationship.

Respectfully yours,

Jane M. Orient, M.D., Executive Director

Association of American Physicians and Surgeons

Eight years on water woes threaten Fukushima cleanup with fish found around the waters of Hawaii and Alaska contaminated with cesium 134 the radioactive finger-print of Fukushima

Friday, 8 March 2019

The silence surrounding the Fukushima disaster recently has been deafening, it is one year in fact since any reliable information has been released from Tokyo Electric Power Co, the owners of the stricken plant.
Last year, Tokyo Electric Power Co said a system meant to purify contaminated water had failed to remove dangerous radioactive contaminants.
A report from Reuters today, claims most of that water – stored in 1,000 tanks around the plant – will need to be reprocessed before it is released into the ocean, the most likely scenario for disposal.
Reprocessing could take nearly two years and divert personnel and energy from dismantling the tsunami-wrecked reactors, a project that will take up to 40 years, (which is only an estimate as Tepco still haven’t invented the technology to fix the problem, they could still be trying to fix the problem in 2060.)
It is unclear how much that would delay decommissioning. But any delay could be pricey; the government estimated in 2016 that the total cost of plant dismantling, decontamination of affected areas, and compensation, would amount to 21.5 trillion yen ($192.5 billion), roughly 20 per cent of the country’s annual budget.
Tepco is already running out of space to store treated water. And should another big quake strike, (which is a question of when and NOT if), experts say tanks could crack, unleashing tainted liquid and washing highly radioactive debris into the ocean.
Exactly one year ago today, The Big Wobble released an article, claiming during the summer of 2017, 50,000 trillion Becquerel’s of radiation leaked into the Pacific, however, Tepco continue to claim tritium poses little risk to human health and is quickly diluted by the ocean.
300 tons of radioactive water is leaking daily into the Pacific and there is no known technology to fix it.
In one of the world’s worst nuclear disasters, the Nos. 1 to 3 units experienced fuel meltdowns while the No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4 units were also severely damaged by hydrogen explosions following a massive earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.
To prevent leakage of tainted water,  Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO) had installed a costly “ice wall” to keep groundwater from seeping into the stricken Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant, however, data from the operator shows, it had failed.
The aim was to freeze the soil into a solid mass that blocks groundwater flowing from the hills west of the plant to the coast.
However, the continuing seepage has created vast amounts of toxic water that Tepco must pump out, decontaminate and store in tanks at Fukushima that now number 1,000, holding 1 million tonnes, which will at some time be dumped into the Pacific.
Last July TEPCO released around 770,000 tons of highly radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean.
A study by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa have revealed almost 50% of fish consumed on the islands of Hawai’i were contaminated with caesium 134 the radioactive finger-print of Fukushima.
The report also showed that migrating organisms can transport the Fukushima-signature (caesium 134) over significant distances as they showed detectable 134Cs (6.3±1.5 Bq/kg) in Pacific bluefin tuna caught off the California coast only a year after the incident.
Another study found caesium 134 in longfin tuna (Albacore) along the western coast of the US just one year after the Fukushima disaster.
It’s another blow for the stricken nuclear plant with TEPCO claiming the clean-up of the site will take at least 40 years.

Last year The Big Wobble received an email from Bill Laughing Bear, our friend in Alaska who is monitoring the radiation in fish along the Alaskan coast.

Greetings, Gary!

The up-to-date and timely information your website delivers just brought a new topic to my mind: Fukushima. On your March 8, 2018, posting about another million tons of toxic waste to be dumped into the Pacific, the thought occurred to me ‘how much more radiation would I be reading in this coming year’s fish harvest than when the Fukushima nuclear disaster on March 11, 2011, changed our world forever?’

As a musher in Alaska, I have often been blessed from collecting numerous people’s previous year’s salmon catch as they cleaned out their freezers, making room for the current year’s catch. I fed it to my dog team and I ate endless pounds of it myself. I also have enjoyed standing on the banks of some of our first class rivers while fishing for salmon with a pole which I no longer do.

When the Fukushima fiasco occurred, it was obvious to me that with the currents that come up the coast of Alaska from Japan, we were in trouble. I believed our fishing resources would become radioactive and because I love my dogs as most would love their family members, I knew I had to verify this food supply was safe.

Talking to anyone I could who was supposedly in the “know,” I was assured there would be no problem. That did not ease my mind. I decided to invest in a radiation monitor of my own. Being a disabled veteran with a limited income, I set out to buy a meter of the best value I could with my minimal resources. I was told that the most common monitor being used in Japan that people living near the Fukushima area use is the Radex RD 1503. This meter is made in Moscow, Russia, by Quarta-Rad Limited.

The Russian people who had to deal with the monster, Chernobyl, manufactured a quality radiation monitor and I decided to order one. The meter cost me approximately $160.00 U.S. Funds. This monitor was designed for detection and evaluation of the level of ionizing radiation and for the evaluation of contamination levels of materials and products. Although a good monitor, it cannot be used for official conclusions about radiation, environment and fouling factors. The meter estimates the radiation environment in the magnitude of the ambient equivalent power of gamma radiation dose taking into account the pollution of objects by beta sources. The meter reads two ways: microSievert per hour or microRoentgen per hour.

Once obtaining the meter, I started taking readings of people’s salmon. By the second year after the Fukushima incident, all salmon I scanned read radioactive. I have seen a steady increase in radiation levels of salmon through last year with not one salmon failing to register some contamination.

Last year I checked my first halibut which came from local waters. It, too, registered radiation. Since halibut are bottom feeders, I thought this might explain why, on my walks along the beach and seeing at various times dead crab, the occasional sea otter, and a couple of times more jellyfish than I could count, not to mention numerous birds.

In my attempts to find what constitutes safe levels of radiation, official agencies do not seem to be able to agree on just what those safety levels are. I will say that I have found an increase of over 27% of radiation levels since around 2012. So whether the data I have observed is minimal or should be alarming, it is definitely building every year.

Last year, a woman I know, who had just been released from the hospital after receiving numerous doses of radiation had me scan her body. It read lower than the salmon taken out of her freezer.

Three days ago I talked with a commercial fisherman whom I respect and I asked him what he had heard about radiation levels and salmon. He told me they have been told there is no radiation problem in salmon and they are healthy. I told him that I was finding constant radiation and I would come over and scan his salmon in his freezer if he wanted me to. He was visually shaken.

Many of us have chosen to no longer consume for ourselves or our dogs any seafood off the Pacific Coast. From what I understand, radiation can build up in one’s system.

I have also been warned by my friends and numerous others whose fish I have scanned to be quiet about this because it might not go well with me. But ethically I feel I have a moral obligation to my fellow man and I am issuing a strong alert about the condition I have personally found with the salmon and halibut in Alaskan waters. I do not want anyone to suffer a “slow burn” with their health and life. (Click to Source)

That’s it from Alaska for now.

Flu Shots Are Killing Senior Citizens in Record Numbers, Study Warns

Scientists found vaccine-related deaths in elderly citizens are rising at an alarming rate

Senior citizens are being killed by flu vaccines at an alarming rate

Researchers have found that senior citizens are being killed by flu vaccines in record numbers, and the death rate is rising at an alarming rate. A study conducted by JAMA discovered that flu shots may be killing a significant number of senior citizens. According to data collected by the study, 60 percent of people over 65-years-old are at risk. A former investigative journalist for CBS, Sharyl Attkisson, states that the study highlights the worrying rise in mortality rates among elderly citizens who are vaccinated for protection against influenza.

According to Attkisson, not only do the findings prove that the flu shots do nothing to improve death rates, but they may actually be contributing to the increase in ill health and fatality.

Senior citizens are dying at an alarming rate due to flu shots

Inquisitr reports: The study “got little attention,” she says, “because the science came down on the wrong side.” Whereas the researchers had set out to prove that the push for massive flu vaccination would save the world, the researchers were “astonished” to find that the data did not support their presupposition at all. The data actually shows that deaths increased, not decreased, among seniors following vaccination. Johns Hopkins scientist, Peter Doshi, Ph.D., issued a report in the prestigious British Medical Journal, according to NewsLI, asserting that the CDC policy of routinely recommending the flu vaccine is being based on “low-quality studies that do not substantiate claims.”

He says there is no evidence that the vaccine reduces deaths among senior citizens. Interestingly, Doshi cites an Australian study which found significant risks for children as well, stating that “one in every 110 children under the age of five had convulsions following vaccinations in 2009 for H1N1 influenza.” During the drug trials for the Fluzone flu vaccine, 23 seniors out of 3,833 died after receiving the shot, according to the drug’s package insert, reported by Health Impact News.Another 226 experienced “serious adverse effects.”TRENDING: Flu Shots Are Killing Senior Citizens in Record Numbers Study Warns The manufacturer denies any connection between the deaths and the flu vaccine.Seniors Told Get Flu Vaccine

There appears to be growing public skepticism that the flu vaccine is as beneficial as the experts say, according to an earlier Inquisitr report. The level of doubt is strongly correlated to the incidence of accounts of research fraud in the vaccine industry, an industry which makes billions of dollars of profit every year.
senior-citizens-dying-flu-vaccines-study-328718

Deaths among the elderly are rising due to a recent study

Often when an article about the dangers of a vaccine comes out, there are people who write in to tell about a family member who was harmed by the vaccine and the flu vaccine for senior citizens in no exception. A number of people have written to report that their grandmother, or uncle, or brother died shortly after getting a flu shot, sometimes after receiving their first ever such shot. Their stories are frequently minimized, yet the government pays out more compensation from the flu vaccine than any other vaccine. Despite this, it is increasingly expected that every senior citizen line up for their annual flu shot.

A nursing home near Atlanta, Georgia, now reports a devastating outcome to such a policy, according to Health Impact News. All of the residents of the Hope Assisted Living & Memory Care were given a flu vaccine on Friday, November 7. Every one of the senior citizens developed an immediate fever. Within the week following, five of them died. The source reports that the facility’s typical pattern is one or two losses every six months, frequently due to Alzheimer’s. “The facility is not saying they are related to the flu shot but we all know they are, and they know they are.”

Questions must be asked, then, such as: do the benefits of getting a flu vaccine outweigh the risks, especially among vulnerable senior citizens? Or would they be better off choosing to reject the shot? Who benefits if evidence showing the harm of the vaccine is buried? And what would be the motive for fabricating evidence of harm if none exists? If the facts are as solid as some insist, then why do they seem to be threatened by the data being challenged? Shouldn’t truth be able to stand up under scrutiny? (Click to Source)

Wildfires have ignited inside the Arctic Circle

In Sweden, Latvia, and Greece, wildfires are spreading amid a brutal heat wave.

It’s so hot, even parts of the Arctic are on fire.

Temperatures this month reached 86 degrees Fahrenheit well inside the Arctic Circle in Sweden, where the worst fires the country has seen in decades are now burning. More than 50 fires have ignited across the country, forcing evacuations. Finland and Norway are also fighting flames.

“This is a serious situation and the risk for forest fires is extremely high in the whole country,” Jakob Wernerman, operative head of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, told the Associated Press.

So far, no deaths from wildfires have been reported in Scandinavia, but Greece hasn’t been so fortunate. The country has declared a state of emergency as raging forest fires have killed at least 81 people and injured more than 190.

“There are no words to describe the feelings of all of us, these times,” said Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras during a televised address Tuesday. “The country is going through a tragedy.”

The government suspects arsonists may be behind the fires. But there’s also been intense heat across Europe this summer, and climate scientists say we can expect more of this extreme weather with global warming.

High temperatures forced the Acropolis to close for several hours this week. The Greek government can close public attractions when temperatures reach 96.8°F, according to the Associated Press.

Greece’s intense heat has helped dry out shrubs and trees, making them more likely to ignite.

The heat and drought pattern is similar to that playing out much further north in Latvia and Sweden. Parts of Italy are also on fire. Earlier this year, enormous fires scorched Siberia.

Across Europe, fire risks remain high in the coming weeks, according to the European Forest Fire Information System:

While warm temperatures and dry conditions crop up sporadically throughout Europe during the summer, it’s highly unusual that so many places are experiencing such hot, dry conditions for so long at the same time:

A corollary is that summers also spark wildfires in Europe on a regular basis, but rarely in so many places at the same time.

As for the rest of the world, heat this summer has already proved deadly in countries including Japan, Pakistan, and Canada.

Despite thousands of miles and an ocean in-between, many of the same trends behind the ongoing wildfires in Colorado, Oregon, and California are at play in Europe. As in the United States, Europeans are also building in increasingly fire-prone regions. Humans are also igniting most of these conflagrations.

As the climate changes, the fire season is getting longer, now stretching from June through October in Europe. We saw this play out late last year as Hurricane Ophelia sent stiff winds through Portugal and Spain, driving wildfires that killed more than 100 people. The European Environment Agency reported that “an expansion of the fire-prone area and longer fire seasons are projected across Europe.”

Greece wildfires: Dozens dead in Attica region

24 July 2018

At least 74 people have died in wildfires in the Attica region around Athens, in Greece’s worst fire disaster in more than a decade.

Flames fanned by strong winds devastated the seaside village of Mati, devouring homes and cars.

The coastguard said it and other ships rescued almost 700 people who had fled to the coast, and pulled 19 survivors and four bodies from the sea.

A local mayor told the BBC there are fears the death toll could rise to 100.

Mati is located in the Rafina region which is popular with local tourists, especially pensioners and children attending holiday camps.

Rescuers there found the bodies of 26 adults and children, who had apparently hugged each other as they died, trapped just metres from the sea.

Rafina’s Mayor Evangalos Bournos told the BBC the village had “disappeared”.

He said more than 1,000 buildings had been destroyed or damaged – his own home among them.

Hundreds of firefighters have been battling the blazes and the authorities are seeking international assistance.

A fire brigade official confirmed the latest death toll.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has declared three days of national mourning.

Most shocking scene I have ever witnessed

By Kostas Koukoumakas, Mati

What is happening here in eastern Attica is a black hell. After I passed by hundreds of burning cars and houses earlier today, I reached the yard where police said so many people had been found dead.

I could see some of them lying on the ground as fog covered the place and a toxic smell spread through the atmosphere.

Most of them were tourists who had tried to find refuge but did not make it.

“I am calling my cousin but he does not respond,” said Spiros Hatziandreou, who visited the spot.

I could see flames in the trees and on the electricity poles all around. After that, police blocked access to everyone except rescuers.

Presentational grey line

What happened in Mati?

Fire swept through the village 40km (25 miles) north-east of Athens on Monday and was still burning in some areas on Tuesday.

Desperate families trying to reach the safety of the sea were trapped by walls of smoke and flame. Others died in buildings or cars.

After the 26 bodies were found in an open space, Nikos Economopoulos, head of Greece’s Red Cross, said: “They had tried to find an escape route but unfortunately these people and their kids didn’t make it in time. Instinctively, seeing the end nearing, they embraced.”

Dimitri Piros, director of medical services for Ekav, Greece’s nationwide ambulance service, told the BBC people had suffered horrific injuries because of the speed of the fire.

Greece map

The blaze struck like a flamethrower, he said, causing both smoke inhalation and skin burns.

Coastal patrol boats and private vessels picked up hundreds of those who did manage to reach harbours or beaches.

“Thankfully the sea was there and we went into the sea, because the flames were chasing us all the way to the water,” said one survivor, Kostas Laganos.

“It burned our backs and we dived into the water… I said: ‘My God, we must run to save ourselves.'”

George Vokas, whose family escaped by sea but whose house and cars were burnt, told BBC News that two women he had tried to help had died.

“We’re talking about a biblical catastrophe in this wonderful area of Mati,” he said.

Image captionThis woman in Mati was trying to find her dog on Tuesday

Charred bodies lay just 15m (50ft) from the sea, photographer Pantelis Saitas told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

At least 150 people were injured in the area.

How are the authorities responding?

Prime Minister Tsipras declared a state of emergency in Attica, saying all emergency services had been mobilised.

A spokesperson for the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Georgia Trismpioti, told the BBC some people had lost everything.

“The death toll rises every hour, many people lost their loved ones, many people lost their houses, lost everything, and they will need long-term support in order to recover,” she said.

Greece has asked other European countries for helicopters and additional firefighters to help tackle the fires.

Italy, Germany, Poland and France have all sent help in the form of planes, vehicles and firefighters, and Spain and Cyprus have offered Greece assistance, but with temperatures set to soar again, they are in a race against time to get the fires under control.

Presentational white space

Help is also needed in Sweden where at least one person has been killed and dozens injured by forest fires there as soaring temperatures continue across much of Europe.

The wildfires are the worst to hit Greece since 2007, when dozens of people were killed in the southern Peloponnese peninsula.

What caused the fires?

Fires are a recurring problem during the hot, dry summer months in Attica.

Officials quoted by AFP news agency have suggested the current blazes may have been started by arsonists looking to loot abandoned homes.

“Fifteen fires had started simultaneously on three different fronts in Athens,” said government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos.

Greece, he added, had requested drones from the US to “observe and detect any suspicious activity”. (Click to Source)

The deadly Carr Fire burning in Northern California continues to threaten thousands of homes in Redding, California, after nearly doubling in size on Friday night.

The raging inferno has killed two people since igniting on Monday, July 23, after the mechanical failure of a vehicle, according to Cal Fire.

On Thursday, a bulldozer operator was killed while working to clear vegetation in the path of the blaze, according to a statement from Cal Fire. Three firefighters have suffered burns.

Officials announced early Friday that a Redding city firefighter had died battling the blaze.

The wildfire, which has consumed over 80,000 acres with minimal containment, jumped the Sacramento River on Thursday night and headed toward the city of Redding, which is home to nearly 92,000 people.

The erratic nature of the blaze has made the fire difficult to contain.

“[The Carr Fire] was moving all over the place,” Mike Mohler, deputy communications director for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, told the Los Angeles Times.

AccuWeather meteorologist and volunteer firefighter Evan Duffey is concerned that the fire can continue to create its own weather and more hazards and strains for firefighters.

“Given the high temperatures in the region reaching well in the 100s and how dry it has been, the chances of extreme fire danger are high,” Duffey said.

“Rapidly rising air caused by the extreme heat helps the fire to grow explosively as the fire will create its own wind, as well as fire vortices (firenadoes) and tree crowning (when the leaves get engulfed by flames), even on otherwise calm days.”

No relief from the triple-digit heat is expected to come to Redding or the neighboring lower elevations this weekend or next week. In addition to the threat of more evacuations, residents will have to contend with smoke creating poor air quality.

It is best to limit time outdoors and avoid strenuous activities amid the smoky conditions. It is especially important that the elderly, children and those with respiratory issues follow these precautions.

On Friday, Gov. Jerry Brown requested a Presidential Emergency Declaration for Direct Federal Assistance. The request includes Department of Defense air assets and supplies and water for the evacuated residents of Shasta County.

Nearly 5,000 structures are threatened. At least 500 structures have been destroyed, while another 75 were damaged.

Around 37,000 people were under evacuation orders on Friday, according to the Associated Press (AP).

Thousands of Redding residents remain without power. Redding Electric Utilityannounced that power was shut off to most of north Redding at the request of fire authorities and to maintain system stability.

“Restoration time of the outage is unknown at this point, but please know that Redding Electric Utility is doing all it can to maintain system integrity while keeping the needs of the residents of Redding in mind,” the utility said.

Mile-long traffic jams were reported on area roadways as people were forced to evacuate quickly.

Many firefighters turned their attention from battling the blaze to helping people flee the raging inferno.

As a precautionary measure, Redding’s Mercy Medical Center evacuated all of its neonatal intensive care unit patients on Thursday night. The hospital remains fully operational otherwise.

“Really we’re in a life-saving mode right now in Redding,” Jonathan Cox, battalion chief with Cal Fire, said via the AP. “We’re not fighting a fire. We’re trying to move people out of the path of it because it is now deadly and it is now moving at speeds and in ways we have not seen before in this area.”

Over 3,400 total personnel are working to contain the blaze.

Dozens of boats on Whiskeytown Lake, located about 10 miles west of Redding, were burned.

Jim Carrey: ‘CDC Is Poisoning Our Children With Vaccines’

Actors slams vaccines for giving children autism

By: Daniel Newton  |@NeonNettle on 30th March 2018 @ 10.22am

Jim Carrey has made his thoughts clear on the dangers of vaccines

Over the years, Canadian actor, Jim Carrey has made his thoughts clear on the dangers of vaccines, most notably speaking out against new legislation making it ‘mandatory’ for school children to be vaccinated in California.

Speaking out in a statement Carrey said: “They say mercury in fish is dangerous but forcing all of our children to be injected with mercury in thimerosal is no risk.” Make sense? “I am not anti-vaccine. I am anti-thimerosal, anti-mercury.”

They have taken some of the mercury-laden thimerosal out of vaccines. NOT ALL!

“The CDC can’t solve a problem they helped start. “It’s too risky to admit they have been wrong about mercury/thimerasol. They are corrupt.

“Go to traceamounts.com watch the documentary and judge for yourselves. “If you really care about the kids you will. It’s shocking!”Carrey also cited a website for “Trace Amounts: Autism, Mercury, and the Hidden Truth,” a documentary that examines the “the role of mercury poisoning in the Autism epidemic.”

Thimerosal

Thimerosal is a poison, neurotoxin, cancer-causer, and can interrupt the immune system and the normal development of an unborn baby or a child. Thimerosal is so toxic that putting it on your skin is illegal. However, the government not only allows it vaccines but also defends its injection into the population, especially pregnant women and newborn children, as part of influenza vaccines currently recommended by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Most seasonal and H1N1 flu shots for pregnant women and young children contain 25 micrograms of mercury in the form of Thimerosal. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claim low doses of the preservative thimerasol, which contains mercury, are not harmful.  However, for this exposure to be safe, a child would need to weigh more than 550 pounds to safely be administered the recommended dose. The ingredient Carrey mentions in a lot of his tweets also thiomersal:

National Immunisation Schedule vaccines used in New Zealand, including MMR, do not contain thiomersal. Where is the evidence outside of Thimerosal? A recent study carried out by a team of leading researchers has found a direct link between vaccines and high levels of aluminum found in the brain tissue of Autistic children.
vaccines-autism-29mdmd

It’s a well-known fact that even small traces of aluminum in a person’s brain can lead to serious medical conditions.

Metal toxicity has been proven in many scientific studies to show a clear correlation with neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.

Greed trumps reason again as Gov Brown moves closer to signing vaccine law in Cali. Sorry kids. It’s just business. ;

^[— Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) June 27, 2015California Gov says yes to poisoning more children with mercury and aluminum in manditory vaccines. This corporate fascist must be stopped.— Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) July 1, 2015

Autism could also be caused by human DNA A big pharma senior scientist Helen Ratajczak claimed that human DNA derived from aborted fetus cells found in vaccines could be the reason for the current autism epidemic. Ratajczak looks at the factor that human DNA being is found in vaccines, which something that is not widely reported, even from independent health media. She reported that around the same time vaccine makes ceased using thimerosal in vaccines (with the exception of flu shots) they started creating vaccines using human tissue.

study-finds-direct-link-autism-vaccine-aluminum-brain-211217

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Low doses of the preservative thimerasol, which contains mercury, are not harmful

Why could human DNA potentially cause brain damage? Ratajczak explains: “Because it’s human DNA and recipients are humans, there’s homologous recombination tinker. That DNA is incorporated into the host DNA. Now it’s changed, altered self and body kills it.” ConclusionDespite the media attacking Carrey’s noble fight about what he deems to be ‘poison’  that are supposed to prevent disease, the overwhelming evidence suggests that he might be right. But even Carry claims he isn’t ‘anti-vaccine’ he is against the ingredients: All we are saying is,”Take the neurotoxins out of the vaccines.” Make them toxin free. History will show that that was a reasonable request. That seems pretty reasonable. (Click to Source)

Children died minutes after receiving MMR vaccination

Children died minutes after receiving MMR vaccination

Samoan health authorities have seized control of all children’s MMR vaccines after an epidemic of side effects resulted in the deaths of two toddlers. Prime Minister Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Sailele Malielegaoi has launched a full inquiry into the deaths, which has now put the vaccine safety into question once again. The tragic deaths of two children, both aged 1, who died minutes after receiving MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccination at Safotu Hospital, in Savaii, has sent the shockwaves throughout the country and the health community.

According to nzherald.co.nz: The youngsters have been identified as Lannacallystah Samuelu, daughter of Marietta and Samuelu Tuisuesue, and Lameko Si’u, son of Punipuao and Timua Si’u.News of the deaths began to spread over the weekend after family members posted photos of the dead children – one wrapped in the arms of his distraught mother – on Facebook. The public was officially informed by authorities yesterday, when Samoa’s Ministry of Health chief, Dr Leausa Toleafoa Take Naseri, announced that all MMR vaccines in the country were to be seized after the deaths. The nurses who administered the vaccinations have been stood down for their own safety and were being supported, he told local media. ‘He’s finished’Families of the youngsters told TV1 Samoa they had made formal complaints with local police and were calling for investigations into their children’s deaths.

The mother of one child told the station she asked that her son not get the vaccination after learning about the death of the little girl, which ha It is alleged the nurse insisted that the vaccination go ahead and was given without consent.

Speaking to TV1 Samoa, a distraught Punipuao Si’u described the events immediately after her son was given the shot.”We walked out. It hadn’t been a minute since we’d sat down on the chair outside the hospital when I saw his head fall and his eyes close.”I ran back into the hospital. I cried and watched as they worked on my son. I asked: ‘How is my baby?'”I came outside. I walked back in and asked: ‘How is my baby?’ And the doctor/ nurse said: ‘He’s finished’.

“They didn’t say anything to break it to me gently or calm my heart, they just said: ‘He’s finished’.”

In a statement, Malielegaoi described the incidents as “devastating” and said he was not taking this lightly.” There are already processes that will determine if negligence is a factor,” he said. “And if so, rest assured those processes will be implemented to the letter – to ensure that such a tragedy will not be repeated and those responsible will be made to answer.” Malielegaoi revealed that one of his own grandsons was affected a number of years ago “under similar circumstances.”

He said his grandson survived after proper treatment but that: “He will never be the same, as he has lost the ability to speak. ”What about MMR in New Zealand? Meanwhile, New Zealand’s Ministry of Health has contacted health authorities in Samoa to ask whether any help is required of them in regards to the investigation.Dr Stewart Jessamine told the Herald the MoH did not know where Samoa sourced its MMR vaccine from, but confirmed it was not supplied from New Zealand.

“New Zealand currently uses a brand of MMR vaccine called Priorix. It’s made mostly in France and Belgium and tested there before it’s sent to New Zealand.

“It’s monitored along the way to make sure it’s kept at a constant safe temperature until it’s administered to patients.” Jessamine stressed that the MMR vaccine in New Zealand had an excellent safety profile and had been used without significant problem for several decades. University of Auckland vaccinologist Dr Helen Petousis-Harris said one death, let alone two, was extremely rare, and there had never been a death associated with the MMR vaccine in New Zealand. She said although investigations were still continuing into what went wrong, there were two reasons that could have been factors in the deaths. “One is that there’s been an error where the vaccine is prepared for the injection incorrectly and ultimately results in the wrong substance being injected.” Or there’s been some sort of contamination due to the vaccine having been reconstituted and left at a room temperature for a really long period of time. ” Petousis-Harris acknowledged that there could now be fears from parents about the safety of vaccines and immunisations. But she said it was important for people to understand that the vaccine programme was a very safe one in New Zealand. “The last thing you want is for people to be fearful of something that we know is actually incredibly safe.”But right now, we have to try and understand what happened and then work out what can be done to ensure it doesn’t happen again.”It’s exceptionally rare at the global level and will be taken extremely seriously.” (Click to Source)

 – Loved ones of Willy McCue, 19, have always thought of him as a hero. A fierce high school varsity athlete. A volunteer firefighter.

“He joined the fire department just to give back to everybody,” New City Fire Assistant Chief Richard Willows said. “That’s the type of heart he has.”

Willy’s strength and bravery are being tested to the limit. He has been in critical condition in the hospital for over a month. He caught a severe case of the flu, which led to pneumonia and sepsis.

“Both hands were amputated and both feet,” Willows said. “And they are working on his leg right now which is hopeful.”

Willy’s uniform and helmet await his return at the New City Fire Department in Rockland County. The teen volunteered here as a probationary firefighter and was a 2016 graduate of Clarkstown High School North. His former football coach set up a GoFundMe page to help.

“It’s tough. I went to go see him last week and his spirits are high right now,” volunteer firefighter Thomas Gerlich said. “I’m hoping that they stay high and let him know that we are behind him with him through this whole process.”

Willows added, “As sad as he is, he’s in good spirits and just wants to get to rehab and get back riding the trucks—that’s what our goal is.”

While Willy undergoes more surgeries, his loved ones are busy raising money to help him adjust to life when he comes home.

As of Friday afternoon, the GoFundMe campaign had nearly $74,000 in donations. The community and fire department are also coming together to organize several fundraisers starting in April. (Click to Source)
