Just like something out of the Bible! Nightmarish swarm of millions of locusts darken the sky over Najran, Saudi Arabia, just weeks after devastating Iran

A few weeks after Iran, swarms of locusts are currently invading southern Saudi Arabia, near Najran, darkening the skies and adding a thick layer of insects to trees. Just like something out of the Bible!

Najran, Saudi Arabia, played host to an invasion of nightmarish proportions when millions of swarming locusts descended over the weekend. On their way from Iran they first crossed Kuwait and its desert before arriving to Saudi Arabia:

Very creepy, isn’t it? Earlier this year, the United Nations warned that swarms of locusts would be bearing down on Saudi Arabia and spreading among the Red Sea thanks to unusually heavy rainfall.

The UN also called on countries in the flight path to take the necessary precautions to ensure the insects make a limited impact.

Locust swarms contain up to 80 million insects per square mile and they can extend for hundreds of square miles.

The biggest fear surrounding locusts is the amount of food they can consume in a short period of time, a “small swarm” weighing about one ton can eat the same amount of food in one day as 35,000 people.

US gives Israel go-ahead to take out powerful Iranian general

Kuwaiti report: US gives Israel go-ahead to kill powerful Iranian general

Newspaper says Washington and Jerusalem have overcome the differences that saw Americans tipping off Tehran about Israeli attempt to kill Qassem Soleimani 3 years ago

qassem-e1441607376182-640x400

US intelligence agencies have given Israel the green light to assassinate the senior Iranian responsible for coordinating military activity on behalf of the Islamic Republic in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper al-Jarida.

For the past 20 years or so, Qassem Soleimani has commanded the Quds Force — the branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards responsible for military and clandestine operations outside of the Islamic Republic.

Soleimani is a key figure in efforts to prop up Syrian President Bashar Assad and to enable him to retake cities and towns from rebel groups during his country’s ongoing civil war. He is also responsible for providing military aid to the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah and the Palestinian Hamas in Gaza — both of which are committed to the destruction of Israel — as well as to Shia and Kurdish groups in Iraq.

Thursday’s report by al-Jarida, which has been known to publish improbable-sounding stories about Israel, was widely picked up by Israeli media.

There was no immediate reaction to the report from Jerusalem or Washington.

Three years ago, Israel came close to assassinating Soleimani near Damascus, al-Jarida quoted unnamed source as saying, but the Americans tipped off the Iranians against the background of intense disagreement between Washington and Jerusalem.

That was during the Obama administration, which, according to reports at the time, was so focused on securing the 2015 Iran nuclear accord that it chose to overlook and even obstruct efforts to clamp down on Iranian-backed terror organizations.

It’s not clear if the reported tip-off was related to efforts to secure the Iran deal.

Today, the Trump and Netanyahu administrations see eye to eye on Iran. Just four days ago, the two countries signed a joint memorandum of understanding laying the groundwork for full cooperation to deal with Iran’s nuclear drive, its missile programs and its other threatening activities, an Israeli TV report said recently.

The source was quoted by the paper as saying that Soleimani’s assassination would serve both countries’ interests and that US authorities have given Israel the go-ahead to carry it out. (Click to Source)

Evans Mobilizing 31M Followers to Influence World Leaders to Move Their Embassies to Jerusalem

An evangelical leader in Israel is hoping to build momentum for more nations to move their embassies in Israel to Jerusalem.

Mike Evans is the founder of the Friends of Zion Museum and one of President Trump’s biggest cheerleaders.

Evans latest tribute to Trump is a New Year’s Day wish in the form of a four-story digital banner on the facade of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center.  It reads “Thank You, President Trump. You’re making Israel Greater.”

He’s planning a ‘royal welcome’ for Vice President Mike Pence when he arrives in mid-January with over 110 billboards, buses, and even camels.

Perhaps more importantly, Evan is mobilizing his 31 million followers to influence world leaders to stand with Israel and the Jewish people and recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The objective is to have as many other states join Guatemala’s Evangelical President Morales and follow President Trump’s declaration and move their Embassies to Jerusalem.

Evans pledged that every world leader that says “yes” would receive the Friend of Zion Award.

He recognized Trump’s declaration by presenting him with the Friends of Zion Award during a ceremony in the Oval Office with Vice President Pence and faith leaders representing over 150 million Christians globally.

Evans also initiated a campaign to blanket the city with more than 100 banners that read ‘God Bless Trump.’

The campaign includes a giant banner that reads “God Bless Trump From Jerusalem, DC (David’s Capital) to Washington, DC.”

The campaign began on December 6th when Trump made his historic announcement that he was recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and would begin the process of moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, as mandated in the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act.

Since then, the banner has appeared on billboards, buses, and even camels.

“We believe what he (Trump) did is going to bring the blessing of God on our own country America,” Evans told CBN News.

“President Trump’s historic recognition of Jerusalem will secure his place in history as the first American president to take that step since the founding of the State of Israel in 1948,” Evans said.

Evans and other evangelical leaders have hailed Trump as a modern-day Cyrus, the Persian King in the Bible who helped the Jewish people return to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile.

He believes that for hundreds of millions of Evangelical Christians around the globe, Trump is an answer to prayer.  He compares President Trump’s declaration Jerusalem to the 1917 Balfour Declaration that called for a homeland for the Jewish people and President Truman’s acceptance of Israel into the family of nations in 1948.

Evans wrote, “No president in history has ever built such an alliance for the State of Israel and the Jewish people, and no president has courageously stood up for the State of Israel on the global stage as President Trump.”

He founded the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem to tell the stories and history of Christian Zionists who helped the Jewish people throughout history and especially before the founding of the modern state of Israel. (Click to Source)

IN CHRISTMAS MESSAGE POPE FRANCIS CALLS FOR JERUSALEM TO BE DIVIDED, POINTS FOLLOWERS TO SEE ‘BABY JESUS’

Pope Francis, continuing the 1,692 year Catholic tradition of opposing Israel, had a “christmas message” right out of the Devil’s sermon book. He called for Jerusalem to be divided. Pope Francis used his Christmas message on Monday to call for a negotiated two-state solution to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, after US President Donald Trump stoked regional tensions with his recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

December 25, 2017

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WILL MISS THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH, EVERYONE WHO IS NOT BORN AGAIN INCLUDING THE POPE, THE JESUS THAT YOU WILL MEET WILL BE A TERRIFYING SPECTACLE THAT NO HORROR MOVIE IN HOLLYWOOD COULD EVER CAPTURE ON FILM. THE JESUS WHO WILL RETURN TO THIS WORLD IN THE SECOND COMING IS A “MAN OF WAR” WHOSE CLOTHING IS COVERED IN THE SHED BLOOD OF HIS ENEMIES.

“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Joel 3:1,2 (KJV)

The diligent student of Bible prophecy knows a key fact that others who don’t follow Paul’s 2 Timothy 2:15 command to study are not aware of. When the Battle Of Armageddon takes place at the end of the time of Jacob’s trouble at the Second Coming of Jesus, God goes to war against Antichrist for one very salient reason. Israel in general, with Jerusalem in particular, have been divided by the armies of Antichrist, and God intents to fix that permanently.

“Two state solution”, you say? “Equal land” for all, is it? Not a chance in the Hell you are headed for, Francis.

“LET US PRAY THAT THE WILL TO RESUME DIALOG MAY PREVAIL BETWEEN THE PARTIES AND THAT A NEGOTIATED SOLUTION CAN FINALLY BE REACHED, ONE THAT WOULD ALLOW THE PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE OF TWO STATES WITHIN MUTUALLY AGREED AND INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED BORDERS,” HE SAID, REFERRING TO THE ISRAELIS AND PALESTINIANS.

“WE SEE JESUS IN THE CHILDREN OF THE MIDDLE EAST WHO CONTINUE TO SUFFER BECAUSE OF GROWING TENSIONS BETWEEN ISRAELIS AND PALESTINIANS,” HE SAID IN HIS ADDRESS, DELIVERED FROM THE BALCONY OF ST. PETER’S BASILICA TO TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. SOURCE

THE CATHOLIC POPE URGED HIS FOLLOWERS TO “SEE THE BABY JESUS” TO RESOLVE THE CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST

So, Francis wants people to “see the baby Jesus” as a means to somehow bring peace to the Middle East? That statement along is so ridiculous and so very unbiblical and anti-biblical that it boggles the mind. The “baby Jesus” doesn’t exist! Baby Jesus grew to be a man who was sacrificed for the sins of the world, crucified, died, buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures. What is that, you ask if you are a Catholic? That is a little thing the Bible calls the ‘gospel of the grace of God‘, and it is something that no Catholic pope has ever preached or ever will preach one day in their lost lives. Here it is:

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)

The sweet little “baby Jesus” is no more, never to come again in any dispensation. Jesus is all grown up now, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, awaiting for the moment when He will come down to the clouds and pull His Church up and out of here as the Bible promises He will.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (KJV)

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.” Revelation 19:11-13 (KJV)

pope-francis-personal-relationship-with-jesus-christ-dangerous-harmful-vatican-whore

The actual, all grown up Jesus is so crazy powerful and intimidating, that even the apostle John, whom the Bible says is the “apostle that Jesus loved”, is frightened out of his mind when he meets Him in Heaven at the Revelation.

“His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”Revelation 1:14-18 (KJV)

The Catholic Church knows nothing of this Jesus, the real Jesus, the One who is coming in judgment to destroy not only the armies of Antichrist but the Vatican system itself. The pope wants you to keep your mind focused on the “sweet baby Jesus”, does he? I bet he does, to distract you from this.

“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration…And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.”Revelation 17:3-6 and Revelation 18:21-14 (KJV)

Being a Catholic is tough spot to be in, spiritually speaking. You have a church with tons of pomp and pageantry that looks impressive, but it is not the Church that Jesus started. You have sacraments that you are told to believe “impart God’s grace” to you, but they don’t. You confess your sins to a priest who has no right to hear them and no power to forgive you, who “absolves” you when you pray pagan prayers to dead people. But your sins remain. If you die in this condition, as a “good” Catholic, your chances of reaching Heaven are just a kitten’s whisker above absolute zero.

This Christmas, thank God for His “unspeakable gift” of allowing His Son to be born as a baby in this world, to grow to be the Lamb slain. But the baby is no more, and Jesus is coming in judgment to a lost world who is currently rejecting Him and who will follow Antichrist after the Rapture of the Church.

Catholicism has never saved anyone and never will. “Baby Jesus” can’t save you, either, and it certainly will never bring peace to the Middle East or anywhere else. But it’s a great tool of the Devil to distract you from God’s actual plan of salvation.

“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” Hebrews 2:9 (KJV)  (Click to Source)

Europe’s “Arab Street” Rises Up

Palestinians Protest Trump Announcement

  • Hamas called for a “Day of Rage” — as opposed to the days of peace and harmony the terrorist group ordinarily calls for — but this did not spill out very far.
  • In Stockholm, meanwhile, the new “locals” contented themselves with setting light to the Star of David rather than to real live Jews as their compatriots in Gothenburg had tried to do.
  • The fabled “Arab Street” had been meant to rise up. And it did rise up. But not in the Arab world… instead it lit up in Europe.

It is now a fortnight since President Trump made his historic announcement about the status of Jerusalem. The speech which announced that America would drop the pretence that Jerusalem is not the capital of the State of Israel was relayed live around the world. Across the major networks and the world’s front pages the response was almost unanimous. They proclaimed this a major foreign policy blunder which would lead to any number of problems including — many predicted — an immediate “third intifada.”

The world’s cameras immediately turned to Bethlehem where a small group of enterprising Palestinians burned an American flag for the cameras. This picture went around the world. Otherwise, not very much appeared to be happening. Hamas called for a “Day or Rage” — as opposed to the days of peace and harmony the terrorist group ordinarily calls for — but this did not spill out very far. The Friday immediately following the announcement might have been a flashpoint, tempers being famously frayed after the act of afternoon worship. And yet, as the BBC’s veteran reporter Jeremy Bowen tweeted from the scene, “At Damascus Gate in Jerusalem press pack outnumbering demonstrators.” The fabled “Arab Street” had been meant to rise up. And it did rise up. But not in the Arab world.

In London, the American Embassy was the scene of a protest called for by a number of prominent left-wing and Labour party activists as well as a some Muslim groups. The Labour MP Andy Slaughter was among those who addressed the crowds. This swiftly arranged protest soon degenerated into the usual anti-Semitic rally, with the crowds chanting “From the Rivers to the Sea Palestine will be free” (that is “There will be no Israel at all, not even a sliver of the land”). And the crowd also chanted “Khaybar Khaybar, ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad, sa yahud”. That is, “Jews, remember Khaybar, the army of Muhammad is returning.” For the crowd outside the American embassy in London, threatening Jews with the memory of the seventh century obliteration of a Jewish community near Medina was clearly an entirely appropriate move.

Meanwhile, in Amsterdam, a man carrying a Palestinian flag and wearing a keffiyah headed to a heavily Jewish quarter of the city. There he proceeded to smash in the windows of a kosher restaurant. The whole thing was caught on camera. Again it appeared to make perfect sense to the assailant. The American president recognised Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel and this man headed out to carry out a replay of Kristallnacht at a Jewish business on a Dutch street.

Further north, the situation was worse. In Sweden, the nation’s new local traditions immediately followed President Trump’s speech. Spontaneous protests erupted in the city of Malmö on the Thursday and Friday evenings after the Jerusalem announcement. In a city whose name has become a byword for the new, imported form of European anti-Semitism, the crowd shouted chants such as “We’re going to shoot the Jews”. Further north, in the city of Gothenburg, things got even uglier. On Saturday night, a group of around 20 masked men attacked the local synagogue, hurling objects and Molotov cocktails. At the time of the attack, there was a youth event happening at the community centre connected to the synagogue. The 20-30 young people attending the event were herded down into the building’s basement as the gasoline began to be smelled. In Stockholm, meanwhile, the new “locals” contented themselves with setting light to the Star of David rather than to real live Jews as their compatriots in Gothenburg had tried to do.

In Germany, crowds of people recently imported into the country burned the Star of David, as well. Although German politicians condemned the action, taking place as it did in the centre of Berlin, there is little they can do about it. Last year there were 470 anti-Semitic incidents in the German capital alone. This constituted an increase of 16% in the single year from 2015 to 2016. Stories like that of a Jewish schoolchild — the grandson of Holocaust survivors — being forced to leave his Berlin school earlier in the year after being attacked by Muslim students, is just one story that is making some Germans nervous.

In Germany, however, as in Sweden, Holland, Britain and every other country in Western Europe, there is no point in merely being nervous. It appears that the instinct that really has a point is wilful optimism. After this recent spate of attacks, the former Swedish politician Carl Bildt summed up the view of an entire establishment. While lamenting the anti-Semitism and misogyny of many migrants from the Arab world, Bildt wrote:

“Most refugees coming to our country from Muslim countries have adjusted to the values of tolerance central to our society. The fact that many of these people have often fled different systems of intolerance helps that process.”

Mr. Bildt, like so many other politicians of his generation, is now willing to admit some truths about the effects of mass migration which he would never have admitted even a few years ago. But the successor to silence turns out to be this blind, wilful optimism. It recognises that, sure, some of the migrants come to us with rampant Jew-hatred. And sure, some of them do not like women or gays. But in time they will become as friendly towards Jews as any other European.

Perhaps Mr Bildt is right to have his optimistic vision of the migrants becoming just like everyone else. Or perhaps — and a lot rides on this — he is wrong. Considering that possibility, all of these recent events present the most ominous possible warning-sign. Events such as those since President Trump’s announcement should be sending up the clearest possible flare. Yet it is one that too few people are still willing to see. It is taking people time to recognise that the fabled “Arab Street” did light up in recent days. But it lit up in Europe. (Click to Source)

Is the United Nations Fulfilling Ancient Biblical Prophecy?

jerusalem-1987869__480-1

On Dec. 21, 2017, the U.N. united as one to stand against one city on the planet: Jerusalem. Twenty-five centuries earlier, the prophet Zechariah wrote these words from the Lord, “I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem for battle” (Zech. 14:2a) Did the U.N. just move us one step closer to fulfilling this ancient prophecy?

Before answering this question, let’s look at the events on the ground.

First, the U.N. once again distinguished itself for hypocrisy by targeting Israel for its criticism—specifically, America’s support of Israel—while remaining silent on so many issues of world importance.

What has the U.N. been doing during the horrific war in Syria? Where has the U.N. been during the attempted genocide of Christians in the Middle East? Decades earlier, what did the U.N. have to say about Tiananmen Square in China or Saddam Hussein’s chemical warfare against the Kurds? Yet when America recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the U.N. is an uproar.

As I noted previously, groups like UNWatch.org have documented the U.N’.s consistent policy of singling out Israel for rebuke and condemnation while virtually ignoring atrocities committed on a mass scale by other nations, including Israel’s neighbors.

To give one case in point, during the UN General Assembly’s 61st session (2006-2007), “the time spent by ambassadors on enacting the 22nd anti-Israel resolution of the year was time not spent on passing a single resolution on Sudan’s genocide in Darfur.”

So, while Sudanese Christians were being slaughtered en masse by Muslim soldiers and gangs, the U.N. General Assembly spent its time enacting 22 anti-Israel resolutions.

In 2015, as noted by Israeli journalist Noga Gur-Arieh, “At the closing of the 59th U.N. Commission on the Status of Women … only one political resolution was passed; one that accuses Israel of mistreating Palestinian women, in all aspects of life.”

A similar resolution was passed in 2016 by the same U.N. Commission.

So, of all the nations on earth, only Israel was singled out for its alleged mistreatment of women.

That’s why Abba Eban, Israel’s legendary diplomat, once remarked, “If Algeria introduced a resolution declaring that the earth was flat and that Israel had flattened it, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions.”

Second, in anticipation of the U.N. vote, the United States handled things exactly as it should have: with a strong word of rebuke and warning.

After all, different international leaders did not simply call President Trump and say, “We strongly differ with your recognition of Jerusalem.” Instead, in the most public forum available, 128 nations stood together to condemn America for doing was what right and righteous, declaring our decision “null and void.”

Nikki Haley’s words to the UN before the vote said it all: “To its shame, the United Nations has long been a hostile place for the state of Israel. Both the current and the previous Secretary-Generals have objected to the U.N.’s disproportionate focus on Israel. It’s a wrong that undermines the credibility of this institution, and that in turn is harmful for the entire world.”

Good for you, Mrs. Haley. Call the U.N. on the carpet.

Then, after articulating all the good our country does around the world, along with its support for the U.N., she rebuked the U.N. for disrespecting America, saying, “The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in the General Assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation. We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the world’s largest contribution to the United Nations, and so many countries come calling on us, as they so often do, to pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit.”

And finally: “America will put our embassy in Jerusalem. That is what the American people want us to do and it is the right thing to do. This vote will make a difference in how Americans look at the U.N. And this vote will be remembered.”

Here, here, Ambassador Haley!

Third, the seven nations that stood with Israel and America today are a most unusual group, consisting of Guatemala, Honduras, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Togo and Palau. Honestly, now, how many of us heard of some of these countries before? And how many of us could locate some of them on the map?

Whether it was out of economic dependence on the USA, a connection to Israel, or something else, these nations should be remembered for good in the days to come. They did what was courageous and correct.

As for the countries that abstained (35 in all), two (the Czech Republic and the Philippines) already stated they are considering relocating their embassies; a number of African nations have developed solid ties with Israel; some might have considered their need for American dollars and others might have remembered Israel’s kindness to them (such as Mexico, which was greatly aided by Israel after their disastrous earthquake in September, although Mexico did use its floor time to speak critically).

Already, “U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley invited representatives of countries who didn’t vote in favor of the United Nations General Assembly’s Jerusalem resolution to a reception as ‘thank you for your friendship to the United States.'”

Donald Trump has always appreciated loyalty.

But what of the matter of ancient prophecy? Is there a connection between the U.N.’s vote and the Bible?

I would say yes, for at least three reasons: 1) The vote confirms international hostility towards a Jewish Jerusalem. 2) The vote reminds us that the biblical authors were inspired when predicting that an end-time coalition of nations would come against a Jewish Jerusalem. 3) The vote tells us that, just as Scripture indicates, the city of Jerusalem alone is the whole world’s business (see Zech. 12:3).

Of course, this does not set a time frame for a united attack on a Jewish Jerusalem, and we don’t know if “all nations” (in the words of Zechariah) means every nation on earth or simply a worldwide coalition. But, after watching the last 2,500 years of history, coupled with the U.N.’s anti-Jerusalem vote this week, it’s hard to read the Bible and think that the writers just guessed things right. What are the chances of that? (Click to Source)

Coptic diocese says hundreds attack church in Egypt

coptic-657862__480

CAIRO (AP) — Hundreds of Muslim demonstrators attacked an unlicensed church south of Cairo wounding three people, an Egyptian Coptic Christian diocese said on Saturday, in the latest assault on members of the country’s Christian minority.

The incident took place after Friday prayers when dozens of demonstrators gathered outside the building and stormed it. The demonstrators chanted hostile slogans and called for the church’s demolition, the diocese in Atfih said. The demonstrators destroyed the church’s contents and assaulted Christians inside before security personnel arrived and dispersed them.

The wounded were transferred to a nearby hospital, the diocese said after the attack, without elaborating.

A media coordinator at the diocese, the Rev. Yehnes Youssef, said later on Saturday that three Copts were wounded but have been treated.

The church in Giza just outside of Cairo is yet to be sanctioned by the state but has been holding prayers for 15 years. The diocese said it had officially sought to legalize the building’s status under a 2016 law that laid down the rules for building churches.

Local authorities often refuse to issue building permits for new churches, fearing protests by hardline Muslim. Christians sometimes build churches illegally or set up churches in other buildings.

Christians constitute around 10 percent of Egypt’s predominantly Muslim population. Sectarian violence erupts occasionally, mainly in rural communities in the south.

Egypt’s Christian minority has been targeted by Islamic militants in a series of attacks since December 2016 that left more than 100 dead and scores wounded. The country has been under a state of emergency since April after suicide bombings struck two Coptic Christian churches on Palm Sunday in an attack that was claimed by the local affiliate of the Islamic State group. Sanhedrin Declares: UN Vote Is Nations Choosing Blessing or Curse

california-1768742__480

“When all the nations of the earth gather against her. In that day, I will make Yerushalayim a stone for all the peoples to lift; all who lift it shall injure themselves.” Zechariah 12:3 (The Israel Bible™)

In a special session of 71 elders, the court of the nascent Sanhedrin called on the nations of the world to take their prophesied role in building Jerusalem by not voting against the declaration of the President Trump in the United Nations, emphasizing that this was an auspicious moment that will decide their fate, whether for blessing or curse.

The General Assembly is scheduled to vote Thursday on a resolution that would express “deep regret at recent decisions concerning the status of Jerusalem.” This vote comes in response to President Trump’s speech two weeks ago in which he acknowledged Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The UN resolution also calls on countries not to move their embassies to Jerusalem.

The Sanhedrin prefaced its declaration with a verse from Isaiah.

In all of My sacred mount Nothing evil or vile shall be done; For the land shall be filled with devotion to Hashem As water covers the sea. Isaiah 11:9

The declaration reads:

The nations should now take this opportunity to advance their required role in building God’s House in Jerusalem, the House of Universal Peace, on Mount Moriah, as prophesied in the Bible in order to bring about the long-awaited world peace.

Nations that vote for this evil decree via their representatives are instruments of destruction and their fate is sealed, as has been the case throughout history for those nations who have chosen the path of evil.

For the nations that have, until now, come against Jerusalem this vote is an opportunity to leave their evil ways. If not, they are sealing their own fate and will see judgments from heaven. The nations that support the US president’s declaration will gain merit in heaven.

We emphasize that this vote does not affect the prophecies concerning Jerusalem as the City of God since God’s word is eternal. It is Jerusalem’s fate to be a Light Unto the Nations.

Any nation that desires life will act intelligently and support the declaration of the United States.”

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, the spokesman for the Sanhedrin, explained the proclamation in simpler terms.

“Every child who learns the Bible knows that if you bless Israel, you will be blessed, and if you curse Israel, you will be cursed,” Rabbi Weiss told Breaking Israel News, citing the verse.

I will bless those who bless you And curse him that curses you; And all the families of the earth Shall bless themselves by you. Genesis 12:3

“This does not come from any special powers that Israel has and it is not for our benefit,” Rabbi Weiss explained. “Israel is God’s tool in this world for testing the hearts of men. By their actions towards Israel, men and even entire countries, show their feelings towards God. Right now, the world is being called upon, nation by nation, to display this.”

This vote in the UN General Assembly comes just two days after an identical vote in the UN Security Council. In that vote, the US stood alone as 14 countries voted to condemn the president’s recognition of Jerusalem. The US Ambassador Nikki Haley vetoed the resolution, preventing it from passing.

This series of events stands in stark contrast to what took place exactly one year ago, when, in the final days of his presidency, Barack Obama chose not to use a veto to block a UN Security Council vote declaring the Israeli presence in Jerusalem to be illegal. President Trump, who had already won the election but was awaiting his inauguration, posted a nearly-prophetic tweet. (Click to Source)

BREAKING: World Begins Major Political Retaliation Against Israel

1

Yesterday the United Nations General Assembly voted 176 to 7 to grant statehood to Palestine in response to the United States’ decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.  Only a successful Security Council vote can actually grant statehood to Palestine, but the General Assembly vote is yet another slap in the face to Israel and a denial of the biblical mandate in which God granted the land to the Jewish people.

On Thursday, Arab states are introducing a U.S.-vetoed resolution from the Security Council into the General Assembly.  The document denies that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.  Recognizing the likelihood that this anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist resolution will pass overwhelmingly, the Trump Administration is warning member states not to back the measure.  Trump officials are circulating a notice and warning countries that backing the measure may result in loss of financial aid from the U.S.

The Palestinian Authority itself is launching a full-scale diplomatic attack on the U.S. and Israel.  Abbas has now stated quite emphatically that the U.S. government will no longer be involved in the peace process.  He has also announced that the Palestinians will now be joining some 500 international organizations at a rate of over 20 a week.

I’m reminded that all of this is coming to a head just a few days short of the one year anniversary of Security Council Resolution 2334, which condemned Israel for its presence in Judea and Samaria and effectively sought to divide God’s land.  The resolution passed on December 23, 2016 when then President Obama ordered U.S. ambassador Samantha Power to abstain from the vote.

WARNING: World leaders are increasingly backing themselves into a corner vis-à-vis God with these votes.  Truly it can be said that the world has collectively come against the Jews and their God-given land and have sought to divide it and to move the boundary stones of Jerusalem.  God is well within His rights to bring judgment.

UPDATE (Thursday, December 21): The United Nations General Assembly has just voted 128 to 9 to condemn the U.S. decision on Jerusalem.  The media is billing this as an overwhelming world rebuke of the United States, but these anti-Israel resolutions are typically won with 170 or more votes.  It appears the Trump/Haley tactic has worked to expose those who are softer and more negotiable on Israel.  There were 35 abstentions.  Israel now knows who to target with diplomatic efforts. U.S. vetoes UN call for withdrawal of Trump Jerusalem decision

The Day of the Lord

Behold, the day of the Lord is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then the Lord will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.

Thus the Lord my God will come,
And all the saints with You.[a]

It shall come to pass in that day
That there will be no light;
The lights will diminish.
It shall be one day
Which is known to the Lord
Neither day nor night.
But at evening time it shall happen
That it will be light.

And in that day it shall be
That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem,
Half of them toward the eastern sea
And half of them toward the western sea;
In both summer and winter it shall occur.
And the Lord shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be—
“The Lord is one,”[b]
And His name one.

10 All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem[c] shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

11 The people shall dwell in it;
And no longer shall there be utter destruction,
But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

12 And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:

Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

13 It shall come to pass in that day
That a great panic from the Lord will be among them.
Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor,
And raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand;
14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem.
And the wealth of all the surrounding nations
Shall be gathered together:
Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.

15 Such also shall be the plague
On the horse and the mule,
On the camel and the donkey,
And on all the cattle that will be in those camps.
So shall this plague be.

The Nations Worship the King

16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

20 In that day “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts.[d] Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The United States was further isolated on Monday over President Donald Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital when it blocked a United Nations Security Council call for the declaration to be withdrawn.

The remaining 14 council members voted in favour of the Egyptian-drafted resolution, which did not specifically mention the United States or Trump but which expressed “deep regret at recent decisions concerning the status of Jerusalem.”

“What we witnessed here in the Security Council is an insult. It won’t be forgotten,” U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said after the vote, adding that it was the first veto cast by the United States in more than six years.

“The fact that this veto is being done in defence of American sovereignty and in defence of America’s role in the Middle East peace process is not a source of embarrassment for us; it should be an embarrassment to the remainder of the Security Council,” Haley said.

The U.N. draft resolution affirmed “that any decisions and actions which purport to have altered the character, status or demographic composition of the Holy City of Jerusalem have no legal effect, are null and void and must be rescinded in compliance with relevant resolutions of the Security Council.”

Trump abruptly reversed decades of U.S. policy this month when he recognised Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, generating outrage from Palestinians and the Arab world and concern among Washington’s western allies.

“In the wake of the decision of the United States … the situation has become more tense with an increase in incidents, notably rockets fired from Gaza and clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces,” U.N. Middle East peace envoy Nickolay Mladenov told the Security Council ahead of the vote.

EMERGENCY GENERAL ASSEMBLY SESSION

Trump also plans to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv. The draft U.N. resolution had called upon all countries to refrain from establishing diplomatic missions in Jerusalem.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Haley and Trump for the veto in a video clip posted on his Facebook page.

Israel considers Jerusalem its eternal and indivisible capital and wants all embassies based there. Palestinians want the capital of an independent Palestinian state to be in the city’s eastern sector, which Israel captured in a 1967 war and annexed in a move never recognised internationally.

Following the U.S. veto, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said Arab states, which had agreed earlier this month to seek a Security Council resolution, would meet to evaluate the situation to determine what their next steps might be.

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki said the Palestinians would seek a rare emergency special session of the 193-member U.N. General Assembly on Trump’s decision.

Under a 1950 resolution, an emergency special session can be called for the General Assembly to consider a matter “with a view to making appropriate recommendations to members for collective measures” if the Security Council fails to act.

Only 10 such sessions have been convened, and the last time the General Assembly met in such a session was in 2009 on Israeli actions in occupied Palestinian territories. Any outcome of such a session is non-binding, but carries political weight. (Click to Source)
