Japan Set To Release 1.2 Million Tons Of Radioactive Fukushima Water Into Ocean, Causing “Immeasurable Damage”

by Tyler Durden – Sat, 02/01/2020 – 23:00

Just in case a global viral pandemic, whose sources are still unclear and apparently now include human feces, wasn’t enough, the global outrage meter is about to go “up to eleven” with Japan now set to flood the world’s oceans with radioactive water.

In a move that will surely prompt a furious response from Greta Thunberg’s ghost writers (unless of course it doesn’t fit a very narrow agenda), a panel of experts advising Japan’s government on a disposal method for the millions of tons of radioactive water from the destroyed Fukushima nuclear plant on Friday recommended releasing it into the ocean. And, as Reuters notes, based on past practice it is likely the government will accept the recommendation.

Tokyo Electric, or Tepco, has collected nearly 1.2 million tonnes of contaminated water from the cooling pipes used to keep fuel cores from melting since the plant was crippled by an earthquake and tsunami in 2011. The water is stored in huge tanks that crowd the site.

The panel under the industry ministry came to the conclusion after narrowing the choice to either releasing the contaminated water into the Pacific Ocean or letting it evaporate – and opted for the former, even though it means that Japan’s neighbors will now have to suffer the consequences of the biggest nuclear disaster since Chernobyl.

Previously the committee had ruled out other possibilities, such as underground storage, that lack track records of success. At the meeting, members stressed the importance of selecting proven methods and said “the government should make clear that releasing the water would have a significant social impact.”

Japan’s neighbor, South Korea, has for much of the past decade retained a ban on imports of seafood from Japan’s Fukushima region imposed after the nuclear disaster and summoned a senior Japanese embassy official last year to explain how the Fukushima water would be dealt with. They will soon have a very unsatisfactory answer.

The build-up of contaminated water at Fukushima has been a major sticking point in the clean-up, which is likely to last decades, especially as the Olympics are due to be held in Tokyo this summer with some events less than 60 km from the wrecked plant and the Fukushima seclusion zone which will remain uninhabitable for centuries. According to Reuters, athletes are planning to bring their own radiation detectors and food to the Games.

In 2018, the plant operator, TEPCO, apologized after admitting it lied about the cleanup efforts and that its filtration systems had not removed all dangerous material from the water – and the site was running out of room for storage tanks. Among the ludicrous proposals concocted to contain the radioactive water was an idea straight out of Game of Thrones – an underground ice wall. It did not work.

As a result, having given up on any containment approaches, Tokyo will now literally flood the world with radioactive water. Perhaps in an attempt to mitigate the angry outcry from a world that is suddenly obsessed with a clean environment, Japan said it plans to remove all radioactive particles from the water except tritium, an isotope of hydrogen that cannot be effectively removed with current technology. While it is unclear just how Japan plans on “filtering” out radiation, we with them the best of luck with that particular PR campaign.

“Compared to evaporation, ocean release can be done more securely,” the committee said, pointing to common practice around the world where normally operating nuclear stations release water that contains tritium into the sea.

Needless to say, even the locals disagree: releasing treated water into the ocean would do “immeasurable damage” to a fishing sector that has tried hard to get back to work, an industry source in the Fukushima Prefecture city of Iwaki said. The evaporation proposal has fueled similar worries in farming and ranching circles, according to a source in the rice-growing business.

“The central government should understand the situation on the ground” and thoroughly consider its response, the source said. Even so, it appears that despite “considering the situation on the ground”, the government is still set to go ahead with the discharge anyway.

Why? The reason may also be the simplest one – money. According to the Nikkei, discharging the water into the Pacific is generally seen by experts as the most logical option. Evaporation was successfully used for cleanup after the 1979 Three Mile Island disaster in the U.S. But releasing water into the sea would cost less and, by ministry estimates, cut radiation exposure by more than half compared with evaporation. Of course, this is the same ministry which for months lied about the full extent of the fallout caused by the Fukushima disaster. Surely this time they are telling the truth.

The recommendation needs to be confirmed by the head of the panel, Nagoya University Professor Emeritus Ichiro Yamamoto, and submitted to the government at a later date, which has not been set, but a hard deadline looms as the government is running out of time to make a decision. The roughly 1,000 tanks on the Fukushima Daiichi site held 1.18 million tons of water as of Dec. 12, not far from the total capacity of 1.37 million. Plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. Holdings expects to run out of space around 2022.

Even before then, the most important task in decommissioning the plant – removing spent nuclear fuel – is set to begin in 2021 at reactor No. 2. The tanks take up space that will be needed for this work. (Click to Source)

Thousands Of Tons Of Radioactive Fukushima Water To Be Dumped In Pacific As Independent Testing Banned

The Japanese government is refusing to allow independent testing of contaminated water found in the nuclear power plant at Fukushima, which has been leaking ever since a tsunami and earthquake devastatingly hit the facility in March 2011.

The decision not to allow independent testing was allegedly arrived to over “safety concerns” in relation to the storing and transportation of the radioactive water.

Other organizations are not permitted to carry out tests of the water…If we are going to allow external organizations to test the treated water then we would need to go through very strict procedures and due process because that water is contaminated. If it is taken outside this facility, then there need to be strict regulations. – Hideki Yagi, a spokesman for the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO)

However, independent environmental groups including Greenpeace and Citizens’ Nuclear Information Centre (CNIC) assert that this is indeed a cover-up against the true level of contamination in the water used to cool three damaged reactors.

There would need to be lots of checks because there is a lot of water, but right now it looks very much to the outside world that they are trying to cover something up – as they have a long history of doing. – Hideyuki Ban, co-director of CNIC

Although the contaminated water is deemed too dangerous to test for potency, the government of Japan and TEPCO both regard it as not too dangerous to dump into the Pacific Ocean as they likely plan to do as soon as their storage tanks reach maximum capacity in the summer of 2020.

The amount of contaminated water at Fukushima is astounding. On top of an undisclosed amount, which we still don’t know the potency of, ground water continues to seep into the basement levels of the facility with an additional 120 tons accumulating every day, according to the London Telegraph.

The decision not to allow third-party testing of the contaminated water at Fukushima is not only causing the public to lose faith in the government’s ability to safely manage emergencies, but whether Japanese citizens can trust them to tell the truth about the dangers they face as a country.

Tepco has lost trust across society in Japan as well as in the international community, including in South Korea, and providing samples for analysis would be in their best interests – unless they are covering something up…so providing samples that could verify their reports on content would go some way to demonstrating their commitment to transparency. – Shaun Burnie, Senior Nuclear Specialist for Greenpeace

In 2016, the Japan government estimated the cost of the Fukushima disaster to be about 21.5 trillion yen ($188 billion), nearly doubled compared to their previous projection of 11 trillion yen in 2013.

In 2012, exactly one year after the disaster, 79.6% of polled Japanese citizens favored phasing out nuclear power altogether. This led to the then-prime minister Yoshihiko Noda announcing a plan to phase out Japanese nuclear power completely by 2040. However, current prime minister Shinzo Abe walked back that statement in 2016, announcing that Japan “cannot do without” nuclear power as anywhere from 3.1-4.7% of Japan’s electricity is supplied by nuclear. By 2030, the government that number to be between 20-22%.

Since Abe’s government took power in late 2012, they have given the green light to several nuclear power plants, including the Onagawa reactor which was also damaged by the earthquake on March 11, 2011.

They claim that the disposal of Fukushima’s radioactive water will have only a “small” impact on humans, but how do we know that’s true without independent testing? How do we know what impact the radiation will have on marine life, fish, and in turn, humans who eat fish caught near the dumping site?

The Japanese government and nuclear companies want you to believe that what they’re doing is completely safe, “but that has to be full of caveats because the way that information has been presented is confusing and not transparent so ordinary people do not understand and cannot make informed decisions,” says Azby Brown, lead researcher for Safecast Japan, a Tokyo-based group which monitors radiation. There may be a volcano forming under New England, scientists warn

screen-shot-2017-12-19-at-8-25-36-am

If you’re looking for a volcano there’s a number of places you’d probably check first, like Hawaii or even Yellowstone National Park, but new data suggests you might want to turn your attention to the northeastern United States. Researchers from Rutgers University just revealed that a large swelling of hot rock is bubbling up under New England, and it may be the first hints that a new volcano is forming under our feet.

The findings are incredibly interesting for a number of reasons, not least of which because the east coast of the United States isn’t exactly a hotbed of potentially dangerous geological activity. Despite that, the data is undeniable, and it seems as though there is definitely something rising up from deep within the Earth in the region.

“The upwelling we detected is like a hot air balloon, and we infer that something is rising up through the deeper part of our planet under New England,” lead author Vadim Levin of Rutgers’ Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences says. “It is not Yellowstone (National Park)-like, but it’s a distant relative in the sense that something relatively small – no more than a couple hundred miles across – is happening.”

The research, which was published in the journal Geology, utilized data from the EarthScope program. EarthScope gathers a wealth of information from thousands of different monitoring devices positioned all over the United States. It’s the largest-scale seismic measurement system around, and it is proving its ability to provide scientists with incredible insights.

EarthScope’s measurements show that the upwelling is occurring deep beneath parts of Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire. If a volcano were to eventually form, there’s really no telling where it would would actually emerge, but the process would take a long, long time.

The would-be volcano growing under New England would take potentially millions of years to actually form, and because of that Levin says that there’s no reason for current generations to worry about waking up to a neighborhood covered in lava. “It will likely take millions of years for the upwelling to get where it’s going,” Levin explains. “The next step is to try to understand how exactly it’s happening.” (Click to Source)

46 EARTHQUAKES HAVE SHAKEN CALIFORNIA OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS

That is approximately twice the normal daily number, and much of the shaking has taken place in the southern part of the state

quake

That is approximately twice the normal daily number, and much of the shaking has taken place in the southern part of the state.  In recent weeks I have been writing repeatedly about the alarming seismic activity that we have been seeing along the west coast, and many believe that the potential for a megaquake is significantly higher than normal right now.  Unfortunately, most residents of California are not paying any attention to what is going on at all, and so if there is a major event they will be completely blindsided by it.

When a magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck near Julian, California on Wednesday, that immediately got my attention, and that quake was followed very rapidly by several others…

The shaking began at 4:33 p.m. on Wednesday when a 4.0 quake occurred nearly 10 miles beneath the earth’s surface, just east of the Earthquake Valley fault, one of the most active systems in Southern California. The temblor had originally been listed at 4.2.

The main shock was followed five minutes later by a 3.0 aftershock in the same spot. Then a 3.6 quake occurred near the same spot at 7:57 p.m. Wednesday.

Seismologists say that a 3.6 quake broke in the same area at 2:32 a.m. on Thursday, continuing the seismic spasm.

Of course Julian is not the only one that has seen a substantial earthquake over the past 24 hours.  Just 6 hours ago, a magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck Gonzales, California.  Anything in the magnitude 3 or magnitude 4 range is not going to cause any significant damage, but the concern is that these smaller quakes may be building up to something larger.

According to a study published by the USGS, there is a “99% chance” that California will be hit by a major earthquake within the next 30 years…

In a 2008 study, the US Geological Survey found there’s a greater than 99% chance of a 6.7 magnitude quake or larger hitting the California area over the next 30 years. That type of quake along the San Andreas Fault in Southern California could kill an estimated 1,800 people, the study said, injure 53,000 and result in $214 billion in damage. California’s infrastructure could be crippled for weeks, if not months.

Such an event would definitely be catastrophic, but California could definitely recover.

However, if the California coastline were to be hit by a magnitude 9.0 earthquake, the devastation would be unlike anything that we have ever seen before in American history.

Not too long ago, the Los Angeles Times published an article that discussed what the damage from a magnitude 8.2 earthquake would look like.  The following is a short excerpt from that article…

Main freeways to Las Vegas and Phoenix that cross the San Andreas fault would be destroyed in this scenario; Interstate 10 crosses the fault in a dozen spots, and Interstate 15 would see the roadway sliced where it crosses the fault, with one part of the roadway shifted from the other by 15 feet, Jones said.

“Those freeways cross the fault, and when the fault moves, they will be destroyed, period,” Jones said. “To be that earthquake, it has to move that fault, and it has to break those roads.”

The aqueducts that bring in 88% of Los Angeles’ water supply and cross the San Andreas fault all could be damaged or destroyed, Jones said.

And remember, a magnitude 9.0 earthquake would be far, far worse than a magnitude 8.2 earthquake.

At the same time all of this shaking has been happening in California, we have also seen very disturbing seismic activity elsewhere on the globe.

For example, just recently a supervolcano in Russia shot hot volcanic ash “six miles into the sky”…

A Siberian super-volcano is worrying scientists after it’s shocking and sudden eruption flung hot ash six miles into the sky. This volcano is one of the most active in Russia.

Scientists working at the geophysical department of the Russian Academy of Science in north-eastern Russia’s Kamchatka Krai region have confirmed the giant eruption took place at the site of the Shiveluch Volcano yesterday over a 20 minute period.  They also verified and saw the volcano spew piping hot ash 10 kilometers (6 miles) into the sky.  So far, no locals or villages have been affected by this volcano’s eruption, but it’s sparking fears that a larger and more powerful explosion could occur in the very near future.

A major eruption of just a single supervolcano anywhere in the world could cast enormous amounts of dust and ash into the atmosphere and cool global temperatures significantly for up to a decade.  If that happened, we would see massive crop failures all over the planet and millions upon millions of people could end up dying from the resulting famine.

With each passing year our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and scientists assure us that absolutely cataclysmic seismic events are in our future.  Now is the time to get prepared, but unfortunately most people aren’t listening to the warnings. (Click to Source)

10/28/2017 — LARGE EARTHQUAKE WARNING ISSUED FOR WEST PACIFIC — WEST COAST USA ON WATCH THIS WEEK

oil-pumping-earthquake-oct-26-2017-1

October 28, 2017

Over the past 24 hours, there has been a significant increase in seismic activity across the Southwest Pacific, as well as new swarms of earthquakes breaking out along the West Coast of the United States (California).

The increase in earthquake activity has been noted around the areas South of Fiji, extending across the Kermedec Islands, towards Northern New Zealand, as well as near Guam yet once again.

Additionally, multiple new deep earthquakes struck in the West + East Pacific (Papua New Guinea, Malaysia, and Bolivia South America).

Why do deep earthquakes matter?  Each new deep earthquake can add power, and carry on the time / length of the “deep earthquake event” taking place over the past several days.

The largest of the deep earthquakes was a M6.7 over 500km below the surface, located in an area under the plate called the “Asthenosphere”.  In this region we have seen deep earthquakes cause shallower larger earthquakes within approximately 10 days or less from the deep event occurring.

Because deep earthquakes are capable of causing shallower larger events, we have issued a warning for the West Pacific to be on watch after the deep M6.7 struck below Indonesia.   The warning is calling for a shallower larger earthquake which could top out from M7.7 to M8.7.

Across the Pacific, in California, the earthquake swarms are carrying on near the offshore drilling / oil platforms, as well as the slow slip increasing in frequency + power.   The number of earthquakes are increasing, and the magnitudes are increasing as well.  This means we need to watch for new movement off the coast to the NORTHWEST of California over the next several days which should be larger than the events which struck in Southern California already, possibly going as high as upper M5.0 to lower M6.0 (off the coast).

No main stream media, no alternative media, no governmental sources, or private industry made note of the FOUR different offshore drilling platforms near the coast of Los Angeles / Santa Barbara which were struck by the M4.0+ activity a day ago.

I am the only person on the planet who made note of the offshore drilling platforms connection to the earthquakes which struck.

Strange isn’t it?

It’s almost as if there isn’t anyone out there keeping track at all….. or…. maybe there really aren’t 7.5 billion people on the planet… 🙂  hmm (Click to Source)

SAN ANDREAS FAULT: TECTONIC TREMOR DETECTED DEEP BENEATH EARTH’S SURFACE RAISES RISK OF MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE

1026earthquake

America’s most famous fault line, the San Andreas, is known for its frequent earthquakes, but one part of the system, the San Jacinto Fault zone, in inland Southern California, has been surprisingly quiet for the last 200 years. Now new research has detected small tremors deep under the fault system, suggesting it’s not as calm as we once thought and may be ready to release a massive earthquake sometime soon.

The San Jacinto Fault zone in Southern California is not actually a plate boundary but rather serves as the stress release point between the North American Plate and the Pacific Plate as they grind together at the San Andreas Fault. An area of the San Jacinto Fault zone, known as the Anza Gap, is the main focus of the recent study.

The researchers used a new highly sensitive detection method called multibeam back projection, which calculates plate movement while minimizing incoherent outside noise, to take measurements deep beneath the fault zone in inland Southern California. In doing so, they uncovered previously undetected tectonic tremors, which are likely a result of “slow slips” within the fault, Phys Org reported.

The tectonic tremors detected underneath the Anza Gap are the result of slow plate movement resulting in slow earthquakes anywhere from 8 to 15 miles beneath the Earth’s surface. The new research, now published online in the Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, has revealed that at any given time the Anza Gap is spontaneously slipping at a far greater rate than researchers previously believed.

The finding is significant because it’s the first time evidence of spontaneous tectonic tremors have been uncovered in this part of the fault line.

“While relatively little is known about tectonic tremors, in part because they have historically been difficult to detect, we know that these tremors are being caused by slow slips deep in the fault,” Abhijit Ghosh, an assistant professor of earth sciences at the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at University of California, Riverside and a researcher involved in the project, explained in a recent statement. “This may ultimately help to cause a damaging earthquake.”

The problem is, although Southern California is known for its frequent earthquakes, the Anza Gap has been relatively quiet for the past 200 years—too quiet, some researchers have suggested. According to Ghosh, such a period of tectonic peacefulness raises the question of how the gap has been releasing the stress it continues to accumulate from both the North American Plate and the Pacific Plate. “For that reason, many experts suspect that this area is ripe to produce a damaging earthquake,” the researcher explained.

According to the new report, the recent findings are not cause for imminent concern but rather may help geologists better predict earthquakes in the future. While we cannot prevent seismic activity, preparation can reduce its dramatic toll, allowing us to leave the catastrophic natural disaster scenes for the cinema. (Click to Source)

10/26/2017 — LARGE PACIFIC EARTHQUAKE WARNING ISSUED — WEST COAST USA, ASIA, EUROPE + AMERICAS NOW ON WATCH

deep-earthquakes-oct-26-2017-1

October 26, 2017

warning has been issued for the potential of a large earthquake as a result of a deep seismic event which occurred in the West Pacific.

The warning only covers this coming week (approximately 7-9 days).

As things stand currently (Oct. 26, 2017) ,  over the past 48 hours, multiple deep earthquakes have occurred below the West Pacific, including Indonesia, Japan’s Izu trench, Fiji, and South America.

This deep earthquake activity indicates the whole of the Pacific plate has been displaced, and will be compensating over the next week with larger seismic activity.

Going forward over this week (next 7-10 days), areas such as the Northwest Coast of the United States / Canada, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Central America, and multiple locations across South America should be impacted by increased seismic activity at each named location.

We are expecting at least 1 magnitude increase at each named location, and looking for the potential of a M7.7 to M8.7 as a result of the deep M6.7 which occurred below Indonesia.

The West coast of the United States is on watch for midrange M5.0 to lower M6.0 earthquake activity near the coast of Oregon + Northwest California, then to be followed by larger activity going to near M4.0 (or larger) in the midwest United States fracking operations across central Oklahoma.

There are several locations which should show noteworthy movement outside of the United States, including Southern Europe, and Asia.

Southern Europe should see a noteworthy increase in activity over the course of this week, expecting at least a 1 magnitude increase going to M5.0 in the Southern Mediterranean (Greece / Turkey), followed by Italy and Bosnia / Albania to be struck yet once again by another near M5.0 event(s).

Central America + South America will be directly impacted at the “tips” of both large red arrows shown in the video.  Those arrows point to the border of Ecuador / Columbia, as well as to near Valpariso Chile / Argentina.  Both Northern and Southern South America should be heavily impacted this week as a result of the pressure transfer across the Pacific .

Asia should be struck between India and Myanmar with earthquakes larger than anything which has struck in the past several weeks, meaning at least M5.2 or greater should strike the border region between India / Nepal / Myanmar.

The middle East should also be struck by what comes out of Asia, thus a M5.2 or greater in Asia can cause M5.0+ activity in Iran.

Have a plan this week for the large earthquake potential, don’t be scared – be prepared. (Click to Source)

Insider warnings: Martial law and millions of deaths when “Big One” hits California

The Big One is a long-overdue megaquake that’s expected to strike the west coast at any time, with California suffering the brunt of the devastation.

Yet according to one first responder, the damage that will be caused by the Big One is going to be far worse than what you could imagine.

california-big-one

While parts of California are currently burning down by vicious wildfires, another dramatic natural disaster looms over the most populous state in the United States: The Big One, a devastating high-magnitude earthquake.

This report published on the website of Steve Quayle, details the discussions that occurred over the course of several high-level meetings. And the conclusions are terrifying:

“Steve, I want to discuss the coming “big one” or 9.0 to 10.0 earthquake that is supposed to happen in California and across the west coast. The government response would be complicated for this but it would all be run by FEMA.

We were told recently during a meeting in DC that an estimated 3 to 10 million people will die during and after the earthquake. Martial law will be established after the government condemns the affected areas as disaster zones. Let’s say, hypothetically, that the disaster areas are the “A” zone and the first relief site from FEMA, or the government, is the “B” zone.

Now this is going to get really deep and dark but bare with me. Between the “A zone” and “B zone”, there are not enough hotels to house 3 million displaced persons let alone 10 million. It would take the government at least a week to get the proper beginning of housing operations, relief housing for those displaced persons. Some would call these places a FEMA camp.

I would state that it may take a week to get the logistics in place and the second week to make an effort to actually process and house people. By process I mean gathering basic personal information, known medical needs, medical assessment of persons, possible forced immunization and a background check through NCIC for warrants and if they are known criminals or gang members with a FBI number, they will be detained and arrested.

There could be a scene played out like this: families to the left, single people to the middle and injured to the right while coming into a screening process. There would also be mass amounts of law enforcement and security in designated zones that would be there to deter criminal activities and to respond promptly to emergencies.

Remember this, if FEMA comes in and sets up relief centers, they can apply 41. C.F.R and 18 U.S.C. to all who want aide. 41 CFR designates the building rules and regulations for federal property and 18 U.S.C. is federal law making it illegal to carry weapons on federal property. Think about that one. You want medical aide for you family, you want a doctor to check your hurt children and or spouse? You want to feed your family and get them somewhere safe? Then surrender all weapons and come right in.

I expect this will cause mass disturbances at the checkpoints and screening stations. It will cause people to be stuck in lines for hours or days and rumors of all sorts will be spread up and down the line adding to the hysteria of the unfolding events. Fighting will break out all over at some point and people will die from their injuries, medical conditions or from dehydration. The victims of this disaster will inevitably tango with the law enforcement and security. The military will be called in to help if people start to riot, especially when the gates close to the facilities due to a full capacity. This will cause a “Them versus Us” mentality between the people and the government. Mass amounts of people may even try to attack check points and try to force entry into the facilities leading to physical conflict and deadly force if authorized.

I’ll say this, we are not ready for this situation and it will never run smoothly. It almost feels as if it was meant to fail. The government aide will be overwhelmed.Maybe that’s the point. I know what everyone thinks about law enforcement and the government, we folks on the ground are no different than you. Our families, friends and fellow government employees will be affected too. The big fat cats however, they’re all ready for this to happen.”

and continues:

“To my knowledge, there is still not enough large areas to properly store this amount of persons. There are only so many houses, auditoriums, churches, stadiums and other large facilities within the areas of the affected. Many people will be taken in by those who have the room and others will just find a place to be. Some will go back to Mexico and some will travel to other states, if the highways and interstates are open still though I doubt they will be open for long.

I would expect most commercial traffic to be shut down and rerouted. Thousands of vehicles will be on the roads at one time for days, many will run out of gas and many conflicts will happen between the “A” zone and “B” zone that law enforcement will not be able to prevent or respond to. Major telephone interruptions would also be taking place during this time, not to mention mass power outages.

Hospitals will turn into morgues and hasty hospitals set up by the state and federal government will be overburdened by the first day.

Meanwhile, the disaster zones are quarantined off and all highways and interstates are locked down with Vehicle Check Points (VCP) manned by the military and law enforcement. I can only imagine the hell I’ll be walking through after this Earthquake. I for see fractures of road that are shifted 10 feet into the air and non passable by our vehicles. There will probably be a lot of helicopter insertions and extractions. The military bases along the west coast, if not affected, will be mobilized to help bring aid and security.

The gangs and terrorist that are left in the affected areas are now taking advantage of the situation and rampaging through the neighborhoods. This is where I’ll be, fighting against the madness of the situation and trying to bring medical aid to whomever is left. This is what we’re getting ready for. There will be a fight for LA and San Diego. Surrounding areas will be teeming with crime and there will still be thousands of people who need to be extracted.

I forgot to mention a very important part. There are two nuclear power plants located in Diablo Canyon that would be in the vicinity of the quake. If they get damaged and meltdown we could have two Chernobyls plus a Fukishima effect since it’s near a port. Millions could be affected by radiation. Now we have a no go zone of almost 50 miles or more. If the quake is truly chaotic and goes higher than a 10 on the richter scale the three nuclear power plants in Phoenix Arizona could be affected but that’s a real long shot.

Another thing to think about is the Cascadia Subduction Zone. It’s estimated, though not spoken of in public settings ,that we could lose most of the west coast. From Tijuana, Mexico to Seattle, Washington. Also, this Earthquake could agitate the near 36 volcanos along the west coast into eruptions, which cause even more unmentionable damage to the areas. There are approximately 17 volcanos that the US has marked as green for normal activities and 19 volcanos that are unmonitored. Yellowstone is also marked as green currently for normal operations but should be unaffected during a major Earthquake, should be.

Getting back to the matter at hand. This is not a conspiracy this is a fact. The government is getting ready for it, look up Operation Cascadia Rising on FEMA.gov. There is no time line for these events. I would tell everyone on the west coast to move towards the east, if you can. May God have mercy on us when this hits. Please be prepared and understand the severity of this event.

What people fail to remember about this situation is that it will change the country for years. Where do we get most of our produce from? How will this affect the economy? Will the dams hold up to this massive earthquake and how much worse does it get if they rupture and flood the surrounding towns? There are an estimated 43 dams in California alone and an estimated 15 or more in Oregon and Washington State. Mass forest fires could be started by natural or man made events during this time as well.

It would be hell on American soil and not one of our enemies fired a bullet. However, it could cripple our Nation to the point that an invasion would be possible. This is the big picture boys and girls.”

Millions of people are expected to die when the mega-quake finally happens.

The big fat cats are prepared for the big one, while everyone else will be affected, overwhelmed, and unprepared. Are you READY? (Click to Site)

Canary Islands on alert as magma seen moving in La Palma volcano

lava-853030_1280-1280x640

LA Palma volcano’s red-hot magma has risen after its recent flurry of earthquakes causing the ground on the Canary Islands to “significantly” rise above ground level, experts said. Volcano experts discovered the ground in the area surrounding local hotel Teneguia Princess hotel has risen by about 1cm to the south and 3.5cm upwards over the past year, according to GPS sensors regulating ground deformation.

The shocking results from the Volcanological Institute of the Canary Islands (Involcan) come after the archipelago was rocked by two separate seismic swarms in the area surrounding the deadly Cumbre Vieja. One of the world’s leading experts in volcanology, Professor Takeshi Sagiya, from the Nagoya University, described the GPS data as ”significant”. He said the recorded change in height looked significant compared with the changes in the last year.

The GPS sensor is located about 3.5 to 4.5 miles south of the centre of the latest seismic swarm.

There were 44 earthquakes recorded up to 2.1 magnitude hit between Friday at 1.52pm and Saturday to 4.17am.

They followed another seismic storm the weekend before, which saw about 50 tremors in three days, between 1.5 and 2.7 on the Richter Scale, sparking fears the islands most active volcano was about to erupt.

Scientist Stefan Scheller said: “If we assume the magma accumulation lies below the seismic swarm and thus raises the ground above.

“A circular elevation of the ground about 7 km around the centre means a quantity of raised rock with a volume of approximately 5 million m³, which corresponds to approximately 12.5 million tons of rock.”

Mr Scheller also played down the recent activity, but did not rule out an eruption would take place.

He said only the future will tell if the rock above the magma is stable enough to stop the movement or if the rise breaks the rock even more, which would be reflected in future micro-earthquakes, and over time would lead to an eruption.

But he insisted deformation had begun a year ago and there was no reason to be rushed or alarmed.

Meanwhile, the National Geological Institute (IGN) insisted hat its sensors have not detected any deformation of the ground.
