Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, has reportedly been killed in a joint U.S.–Israeli military strike, according to senior Israeli officials speaking to Reuters, Axios, and other outlets. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday that Khamenei is “gone,” citing what he described as growing signs the 86-year-old cleric did not survive the assault on his fortified compound in Tehran.
