President Donald Trump delivered one of the most explosive speeches ever heard at the World Economic Forum on Wednesday, telling global elites in Davos that the 2020 U.S. presidential election was stolen — and that prosecutions are coming for those responsible.
Speaking directly to world leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump rejected globalism, championed nationalism and sovereignty, and accused corrupt political and media institutions of engineering election fraud with global consequences.
“It was a rigged election. Everybody now knows that,” Trump said. “They found out. People will soon be prosecuted for what they did.”

“Certain places in Europe are not even recognizable anymore,” Trump said. “Many parts of our world are being destroyed before our very eyes, and the leaders don’t even understand what’s happening — and the ones that do understand aren’t doing anything about it.”

“You need strong borders, strong elections, and ideally a good press,” he said. “Strong borders, strong elections, free, fair elections, and fair media.”

“The war in Ukraine wouldn’t have started if the 2020 U.S. presidential election weren’t rigged,” Trump said.
He sharply criticized NATO for what he described as decades of exploiting American taxpayers, declaring that the alliance would not exist in its current form without his leadership.
“You wouldn’t have NATO if I didn’t get involved in my first term,” Trump said. “The United States is treated very unfairly by NATO. We give so much, and we get so little in return.”
Trump emphasized that America is geographically removed from the conflict.
“We’re thousands of miles away, separated by a giant ocean,” he said. “They have to work on Ukraine. We don’t.”

Media, Credibility, and the Deep State
Trump also delivered a blistering attack on the media, calling it “crooked,” “biased,” and devoid of credibility.
“When I win a landslide — all seven swing states, the popular vote — and I only get negative press, that tells you everything,” he said. “If the media wants credibility, it’s going to have to be fair.”
Trump claimed that media complicity played a central role in covering up election crimes and protecting what he has repeatedly called the “deep state.”
Unanswered Questions at Home
While Trump’s comments electrified his supporters, they also raised questions.
For more than a year, Americans have been told that accountability is coming for those involved in the Russia collusion hoax and alleged election crimes exposed last summer. Yet despite repeated calls for arrests, critics note that Attorney General Pam Bondi has not announced major prosecutions.
