Kamala Harris faced yet another public humiliation on her book tour Saturday in Chicago, as liberal protesters repeatedly interrupted her “107 Days” memoir event. Security had to remove multiple participants after protesters shouted accusations over Israel and Gaza, calling Harris a “war criminal.”
Frustrated by the interruptions, Harris exclaimed to the crowd: “You know what? I am not President of the United States. You wanna go to the White House and talk to him, then go on and do that.” Her outburst underscored the stark contrast between her failed leadership and President Trump’s decisive handling of the Gaza conflict, which he ended in just a few months.
The memoir, released September 23, chronicles Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign after President Biden’s withdrawal from the race. The book claims to offer a candid, page-turning look at the election, but her national tour has been marked by repeated protests and embarrassing confrontations.
According to the New York Post, the Chicago event was disrupted multiple times as Harris discussed her book with moderator Michele Norris. Protesters shouted over the proceedings, leading some attendees to join in with chants of “get her out.” Similar interruptions have occurred at prior stops across the country, signaling growing public dissatisfaction — even among those nominally on the left.
Harris’ struggles highlight a reality most Americans have already realized: while she attempts to capitalize on her failed presidential bid through book sales, her credibility as a leader remains in question. Meanwhile, President Trump’s bold, results-driven approach continues to contrast sharply with Harris’ ineffectiveness.
