A historic moment unfolded in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, as U.S. President Donald Trump joined world leaders to unveil a three-phase Gaza peace plan designed to end years of conflict, secure Israel, and stabilize the Palestinian territories. Phase One: Immediate Ceasefire and Hostage Release

Egypt and Jordan will train a Palestinian police force, while a council of independent Palestinian technocrats will run day-to-day governance under international supervision. This marks a bold step toward ending decades of Hamas dominance and radicalization.
Phase Three: Reconstruction and Governance
Phase three centers on rebuilding Gaza with Arab and international funding. The creation of a Board of Peace, chaired personally by President Trump and including former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, will oversee governance and reconstruction efforts. This body will ensure the new administration in Gaza is stable, accountable, and internationally supervised.

President Trump, hailed for securing the hostage releases and brokering the ceasefire, emphasized that this three-phase plan represents a new era for Gaza and Israel. By personally chairing the Board of Peace, Trump places himself at the center of a strategy aimed not just at ending violence, but at transforming the region with security, governance, and humanitarian relief.
