The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday near Las Vegas, when police say an unknown individual began firing rounds at the main gate of the site and was “behaving erratically.” According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, security officers confronted the gunman, who pointed his firearm at them, prompting officers to shoot him in the leg. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a tourniquet was applied.
