New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has been caught in what could be one of the most embarrassing vaccine photo-ops yet. In a highly publicized stunt meant to showcase her faith in the COVID booster, Hochul rolled up her sleeve before the cameras — only for sharp-eyed viewers and medical professionals to quickly expose the entire charade as staged.
The Needle That Never Pierced the Skin
Upon close examination of the footage, what appears in Hochul’s arm is not a functioning needle at all, but a capped IV catheter. In multiple freeze frames, the protective cap is clearly visible, meaning there was no puncture of the skin. In other words, Hochul never received a shot — she participated in theater.

“That’s not how to administer an intramuscular injection. The placement is wrong, the needle handling is sloppy, and the free hand isn’t even used to stabilize the site. I’ve given thousands of injections. This is staged.”
The body language of both Hochul and the “nurse” reinforced the suspicion. Hesitant pauses, awkward angles, and exaggerated gestures looked more like a choreographed production than an actual medical procedure.

Proper intramuscular injections are administered in the mid-deltoid muscle of the upper arm. Yet in Hochul’s case, the placement appears far too low, well outside standard protocol. The awkward positioning of the syringe — tilted as if for the benefit of the cameras — only heightened doubts.
Veterans of clinical care noticed something else: there was no natural efficiency. True injections are swift and seamless. This one dragged, as though both participants were carefully pretending without making skin contact.
The Syringe Mystery
Even the fluid inside the syringe raised red flags. COVID booster doses are typically 0.3 to 0.5 mL, but the syringe used on Hochul showed a suspiciously low amount of liquid — barely visible, and inconsistent with a standard vaccine prep.
An analyst noted:
“That looks like a 3mL syringe with maybe half a milliliter at most inside it. Even with over-priming, there should be more visible. Something doesn’t add up.”
Why the Deception?
The lingering question is obvious: why stage the shot? If Governor Hochul truly believes in the safety and necessity of COVID boosters, why not receive one live and unedited on camera, as countless others have?
Critics argue this was nothing more than a political stunt designed to manipulate public perception. By simulating the booster instead of taking it, Hochul avoided the risks of side effects while still signaling obedience to Big Pharma’s narrative. It was theater, not medicine — propaganda in scrubs.
