Then, in a moment that defies explanation, a U.S. Hellfire missile slams into the object—only to bounce off.

‘We’ve Never Seen This Before’
The video was shared by Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) and provided to Congress by a whistleblower. Slowed-down frames clearly show the missile continuing its trajectory after striking the orb, almost as if it hit an impenetrable shield.

“We’ve never seen a Hellfire missile hit a target and bounce off,” said Luis Elizondo, a former senior intelligence official with the Pentagon. “When a Hellfire makes a hit, a kinetic strike on something solid, there’s usually not much left of whatever it is it’s hitting. But in this video, what seems to happen is that the missile is either redirected, or in some case, perhaps glances off the object and continues on its way.”

Hundreds of New Sightings
The incident comes amid an explosion of UAP reports. A recent government review revealed more than 750 new sightings between May 2023 and June 2024, many of them involving military encounters. Lawmakers are increasingly concerned about national security vulnerabilities, especially as these craft appear over active combat zones.

The object in question was filmed while U.S. forces were conducting airstrikes against Houthi threats to U.S. Navy and commercial vessels. Pentagon officials have refused to comment, fueling further speculation about what role these orbs are playing in global conflict zones.

Alien Tech—or Something Else?
