Through a mechanism known as “fiscal sponsorship,” extremist groups that don’t even qualify for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status are quietly bankrolled under the cover of larger, tax-exempt charities. This loophole allows millions in donations to vanish into opaque ledgers, enabling everything from riot bail funds to international subversion. The result is a parallel infrastructure of power — opaque, unaccountable, and designed to destabilize the West.
