The United Nations General Assembly voted today to overwhelmingly endorse the “New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine,” a resolution designed to breathe new life into the so-called two-state solution. Backed by France and Saudi Arabia, the declaration passed with 142 countries in favor, 10 opposed, and 12 abstaining—a landslide that underscores the growing global push to recognize a Palestinian state, this time without Hamas.
The resolution, already endorsed by the Arab League and co-signed in July by 17 member states, condemns Hamas by name for the October 7, 2023 massacre in Israel. It demands the terror group’s removal from Gaza, the release of hostages, and the disarmament of Hamas in favor of turning authority over to the Palestinian Authority with “international engagement and support.”
French President Emmanuel Macron hailed the vote on social media: “Today, under the impetus of France and Saudi Arabia, 142 countries have adopted the New York Declaration on the implementation of the two-State solution. Together, we are charting an irreversible path toward peace in the Middle East. Another future is possible. Two peoples, two States: Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security.”
Israel’s Warning: “A Prize for Terror”
Israel, which joined the United States, Hungary, Argentina, and a handful of others in opposing the resolution, blasted the move as a betrayal of justice and a reward for violence. Israeli officials have warned that establishing a Palestinian state at this moment, even under the banner of excluding Hamas, effectively hands terrorists the victory they sought.

The Bible warns that in the last days, the nations will gather against Israel and attempt to divide the land. The prophet Joel declares: “I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up My land” (Joel 3:2).
What we are witnessing is not merely diplomacy—it is prophecy unfolding. The international community, with near-unanimous force, is advancing a “peace plan” that pressures Israel to surrender land that God Himself deeded to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Macron’s declaration of an “irreversible peace plan” should send chills through Bible-believing Christians. Scripture warns that when they cry “peace and safety,” sudden destruction will come (1 Thessalonians 5:3). The attempt to force Israel into a two-state solution without its agreement is not a pathway to peace—it is a setup for judgment.
The Beast System in Motion
Today’s vote illustrates how international institutions are consolidating power in ways that bypass national sovereignty. Israel’s opposition is meaningless against the tidal wave of global consensus. The United States under President Trump stood with Israel in opposition, but the reality is clear: globalists are charting the course, and the machinery of the UN is being used to corral the nations toward the one-world system warned about in Revelation 13.
The drive for a Hamas-free Palestinian state may sound like peace, but it is in truth a Trojan horse for carving up the covenant land. The nations now align not with God’s Word, but with their own designs for global governance.

The vote at the UN General Assembly is more than politics—it is a prophetic marker. As 142 nations move to enshrine a Palestinian state, the stage is being set for the very events Scripture has warned us of for centuries.
The world calls it “irreversible.” But the God of Israel has the final Word. He has promised in Zechariah 12:3: “On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.”
The dividing of the land is underway. The nations may celebrate, but judgment is coming.
