Weapons specialists note that a Mauser rifle cannot be disassembled and reassembled in mere seconds while running, much less with the precision required for accuracy. Yet the FBI insists Clark somehow did exactly that — leaving the rifle in the woods fully assembled and ready for inspection.

Conservative commentator Michael Savage has publicly rejected the official account, calling it a “staged event” and pointing out the implausibility of the timeline. “We are not hearing or seeing reality,” Savage said on his broadcast. “They’re trying to claim he removed the barrel from the Mauser, packed it in his backpack, ran, reassembled it in the woods, and left it for the FBI. That’s physically impossible.”
Savage warned listeners that the photo of the recovered rifle, intact and fully functional, contradicts the FBI’s timeline. “They found the rifle and they’re getting the prints. Are you stupid? Are you that dumb? The man jumps off the roof. There’s no rifle there. Oh, it’s in his backpack. I just told you — that rifle doesn’t break down that easily.”

The glaring discrepancies have sparked theories that Kirk’s assassination may have been staged as a false flag operation to manipulate public perception, intimidate conservatives, or accelerate political narratives.
