The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) claims it is merely a system “cleanup,” but the reality is far more sinister: anyone wishing to participate in society must now surrender biometric data to maintain a bank account — a move that aligns perfectly with the globalist Great Reset agenda.

Biometric Data as a Tool of Control

Vietnam’s national digital ID system, VNeID, requires citizens and foreign residents to submit fingerprints, facial scans, photographs, passports, criminal records, and even medical data to a centralized government database. Participation is mandatory. Project 06, officially titled “Project on Developing Data Applications on Population, Identification, and Electronic Authentication to Serve National Digital Transformation in the 2022-2025 Period (Vision 2030),” is sold as a convenience, but in reality, it is a tool of totalitarian oversight.

Pham Anh Tuan, Director of the Payment Department, called it a “data-cleansing revolution,” framing account closures as fraud prevention. But behind the scenes, the government now wields the power to erase a citizen from the system entirely. One misstep, one technical glitch, and an individual’s ability to work, bank, rent property, or even survive in the digital economy can be instantly terminated.

Shortly thereafter, Vietnam joined the OECD’s automatic information exchange initiatives (AEOI, MAAC, MCAA), enabling global oversight of all financial activity. With over 146 jurisdictions now connected to Vietnam’s banking and tax information, the country has surrendered sovereignty under the guise of regulatory modernization.

Vietnam is now fully integrated into the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset framework, which envisions centralized control over citizens’ every move. Digital ID compliance is no longer optional, and the population is being conditioned to accept total surveillance as “efficiency” and “convenience.”
