President Donald J. Trump announced a decisive military strike against a drug-laden ship departing Venezuela, signaling an unrelenting U.S. crackdown on cartel operations in the Caribbean.
Trump confirmed that U.S. forces successfully neutralized the vessel, which intelligence indicated was operated by a cartel designated as a terrorist organization.
“There’s more where that came from,” Trump warned, hinting at further military action against Venezuela’s narcotics networks.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized the precision and lethality of the operation, noting that it targeted a ship loaded with drugs in the southern Caribbean Sea, posing a direct threat to U.S. national security.
