The vultures are circling. On Wednesday, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner met with President Trump at the White House to discuss plans for post-war Gaza — a meeting notably without a single Palestinian voice present.

The meeting comes amid Trump’s prediction that Israel’s war on Gaza could end within “two to three weeks,” with Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, claiming the US-Israel plan is “comprehensive” and “well-meaning.” But to Palestinians and much of the Arab world, it looks less like humanitarian planning and more like the elite lining up real estate for a US-owned Gaza ‘Riviera.’

Kushner and Trump’s Displacement Plan
Jared Kushner, Trump’s Middle East advisor during his first term and the husband of Ivanka Trump, has openly advocated forcible displacement of Palestinians from Gaza. Last year, he said the territory’s waterfront “could be very valuable” and suggested moving the local population out entirely.

A blueprint he consulted on with a George Washington University economist even proposed digging up Gaza, moving the people around, and clearing everything vertical — all in preparation for elite redevelopment. Kushner’s plan reportedly involves leaning on Egypt, a “bankrupt” state, to accept displaced Palestinians.

Blair’s Role
Tony Blair, widely regarded as a war criminal for his Iraq legacy, has also been deeply involved. His institute participated in discussions about turning Gaza into a high-end “Riviera” with an “Elon Musk Smart Manufacturing Zone.” Palestinians were excluded from the planning, and no Arab League member states are reported to have attended the White House meeting.

Arab Allies Push Back
Egypt and Jordan have expressed alarm over forced displacement, fearing an influx of refugees could destabilize their countries and create new militant strongholds. The UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, all deeply tied to Kushner through his private equity fund Affinity Partners, have signaled tacit support for displacement, revealing the financial and political interests driving the plan.

The Prophetic Angle
What is unfolding in Gaza is a textbook example of elites exploiting war and chaos for profit and control. Scripture warns that global powers will exploit the powerless while cloaking their greed under “humanitarian” rhetoric (Revelation 18). Trump, Kushner, and Blair’s plans to profit from death and displacement are not just morally bankrupt — they are prophetic in nature.

As Palestinians remain voiceless in decisions about their own land, the world watches as post-war Gaza is mapped, priced, and planned for the elite, while ordinary people are treated as disposable collateral.
