President Donald Trump delivered a blistering call to action Wednesday, demanding that far-left billionaire George Soros and his son Alex Soros be charged under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) for financing and orchestrating violent riots, election interference, and a host of destabilizing activities across the United States.
Trump’s statement zeroed in on Soros’ sprawling network of dark-money initiatives, including the Open Society Foundations, which have funneled hundreds of millions into radical left movements aimed at undermining conservative governments, eroding public trust, and empowering globalist operatives in key political positions.
“This isn’t charity. This is chaos disguised as activism,” Trump said. “George Soros, and his wonderful radical-left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of violent protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America. We’re not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America any more, never giving it so much as a chance to ‘BREATHE,’ and be FREE.”

Soros’ influence spans decades, with funding traced to violent riots, anti-Israel movements, Black Lives Matter protests, and countless other leftist campaigns designed to destabilize communities and political systems. In Texas, Soros-backed organizations, including the Texas Majority PAC (TMP), are under investigation for allegedly funding Democrats who fled the state to obstruct redistricting.
Trump made it clear that this was not idle rhetoric. “Soros, and his group of psychopaths, have caused great damage to our country! That includes his crazy West Coast friends. Be careful, we’re watching you!”
RICO: The Weapon Against Political Corruption
By invoking the RICO statute, Trump signaled a potential legal path to hold the Soros network accountable for coordinated criminal activity—including election manipulation, financing illegal protests, and interfering with state and federal governance. RICO allows prosecutors to target organizations engaged in a pattern of illegal behavior, making it a powerful tool against political operatives who operate under the guise of philanthropy.
FCC and Media Manipulation Under Scrutiny
The Trump administration’s concerns extend beyond street protests. Reports surfaced earlier this year that Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) called for Congress to subpoena Soros amid investigations into his alleged acquisition of over 220 radio stations, including the Audacy network, which reaches an audience of 165 million Americans. Critics allege Soros may have used these assets to shape public opinion, sway elections, and further a radical left agenda.
Trump’s warnings were clear: the Soros network has operated unchecked for decades, but no longer. “We’re watching you!” he repeated, underscoring that the federal government could pursue legal action against those orchestrating nationwide unrest.
As Soros’ influence continues to spark controversy, Trump’s statement represents a renewed push to hold elite globalist operatives accountable for their hidden machinations, with the RICO statute positioned as the hammer to dismantle decades of politically motivated chaos.
