With a gaggle of delusional world leaders lining up to recognize a so-called Palestinian state, the time has come to take a full dose of realism. The notion of a peaceful, sovereign Palestine living side-by-side with Israel is not just wishful thinking—it is a dangerous myth rooted in deception, terrorism, and bloodshed.

Gaza: The Missed Opportunity
The Palestinians already had their chance. In August 2005, then–Prime Minister Ariel Sharon unilaterally withdrew from Gaza, handing it over as a peace offering. What was the response? Within minutes, Palestinian leaders declared, “Gaza today, Jerusalem tomorrow.” Instead of building schools, hospitals, and a functioning civil society, Gazans elected Hamas, a terrorist organization sworn to Israel’s destruction.

Since that day, over 32,000 rockets and 6,500 mortars have been launched into Israel—mostly targeting civilians. Benjamin Netanyahu warned at the time that disengagement would turn Gaza into a terrorist base of operations, and he was right. Rather than proving capable of governing themselves, Palestinians used Gaza as a launching pad for genocide.

October 7: The Final Proof
The October 7, 2023 massacre—when Hamas terrorists slaughtered over 1,000 Israelis, mostly civilians—proved beyond question that the Palestinian agenda is not peace, but annihilation. Even worse, after the bloodbath, polls conducted in Gaza and the West Bank revealed that over 75% of Palestinians supported Hamas’ actions. Seventy-six percent openly support a state “from the river to the sea”—meaning the elimination of Israel altogether. Ninety percent admitted there will never be peace with Israel.

This is not a people yearning for freedom or coexistence. This is a population that overwhelmingly supports terrorism and genocide.

The Western Delusion
And yet, what do we see in the West? A Quinnipiac poll in November 2023 revealed that 41% of Democratic voters in the United States sided with Palestinians, and 60% disapproved of Israel’s response to terrorism. How twisted is that? The very nation that bankrolls “humanitarian aid” to Gaza is hated by 97% of Palestinians, yet the American Left clamors for their recognition.

Lip service to Israel, coupled with real political actions that empower Palestinians, is nothing but duplicity. Leaders chanting “two-state solution” are ignoring the plain facts—and in some cases, knowingly advancing a modern-day Final Solution.

Prophetic Perspective
The Bible does not mince words about this kind of deception. Isaiah 59:7-8 declares: “Wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not.” Those who call for a Palestinian state are not paving the way for peace, but for destruction. They are rewarding terrorism, incentivizing violence, and setting the stage for a greater conflict foretold by the prophets.

Stupidocrisy in Action
The myth of a Palestinian state is not just naïve—it is suicidal. To hand over land to those whose stated goal is Israel’s elimination is the height of foolishness. Politicians who parrot “from the river to the sea” are no different than Hitler calling for his “Final Solution.” The only difference is that this time, the plan is dressed up in the language of human rights and statehood.

To reward terrorism with a state is to ensure more terrorism. To reward Hamas with recognition is to guarantee more October 7s. That is not diplomacy. That is Stupidocrisy.
