Astronomers have confirmed the discovery of a third interstellar object visiting our solar system—and this one is already stirring up controversy. Designated 3I/ATLAS, the object was spotted July 1, 2025, by the ATLAS telescope in Chile. Unlike ordinary comets, it has displayed a strange forward-facing glow that Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb says defies natural explanation.

A Visitor Unlike Any Other
At 10 to 24 kilometers in diameter, 3I/ATLAS is the largest interstellar body ever observed passing through our solar system. It follows in the footsteps of ‘Oumuamua (2017) and Borisov (2019). But its behavior is baffling scientists. Instead of trailing a classic cometary tail, the object appears to shine from the front, as if powered by an internal energy source.

Loeb calculates the light output to be at gigawatt levels, comparable to a small nuclear reactor. He dismisses typical cometary explanations—such as sunlight reflection or outgassing from frozen water or carbon dioxide—as insufficient. Natural alternatives like a primordial black hole fragment or radioactive debris from a supernova also don’t fit the data.

His controversial conclusion: the most feasible explanation may be artificial nuclear propulsion.

Could It Be an Alien Craft?
In a new paper with Adam Hibberd and Adam Crowl, Loeb speculates that 3I/ATLAS could be a technological spacecraft—perhaps one using interstellar dust as propellant under nuclear drive. If true, it would mean humanity is witnessing the passage of an ancient craft possibly billions of years old, traveling through our system at 210,000 km per hour—the fastest interstellar object ever recorded.

Adding to the mystery, 3I/ATLAS is on a retrograde orbit nearly aligned with our ecliptic plane. Its flybys are uncanny:

Venus: 0.65 AU
Mars: 0.19 AU
Jupiter: 0.36 AU

Loeb calculates the chance of such alignments occurring randomly at just 0.005 percent. Even more concerning, its perihelion on October 29, 2025 will place it on the far side of the Sun, blocking Earth-based observation—leaving a potential blind spot just as it reaches closest approach.

Loeb has warned that if the object is artificial, it could deploy smaller probes toward Earth between November 21 and December 5, 2025.

Mainstream Pushback
Other astronomers, including Jason Wright of Penn State, dismiss Loeb’s claims, arguing resolved imaging already shows cometary features. NASA insists 3I/ATLAS poses no danger to Earth, and ongoing ground-based studies aim to determine whether the glow can be attributed to conventional comet activity.

Still, Loeb refuses to back down. He has even proposed a “risk scale” from 0 (natural) to 10 (confirmed technology), urging the scientific community to remain open-minded and watch for anomalies such as non-gravitational accelerations or artificial radio signals.

Prophetic Parallels: Watchers, Signs, and Deception
This is not just a scientific question—it raises spiritual ones. Avi Loeb’s warnings, whether sincere or staged, are already feeding mainstream speculation about extraterrestrial contact at a moment when the WEF, UN, and Pentagon are openly preparing for “alien” scenarios.

The Bottom Line
Whether 3I/ATLAS is a comet, a probe, or something stranger, the timing is uncanny. As world powers push digital IDs, surveillance currencies, and global governance, even the appearance of alien technology could be leveraged as a catalyst for the final phase of the Great Reset.
