Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), chair of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, revealed to Joe Rogan that Russia has agreed to release long-hidden KGB intelligence files on Lee Harvey Oswald—files she claims were handed to U.S. officials during President John F. Kennedy’s funeral and subsequently destroyed by the CIA.

According to Luna, the KGB had conducted a meticulous investigation into Oswald, compiling psychological profiles and intelligence reports that challenged the official narrative. Yet when the U.S. received these documents in 1963, they mysteriously vanished under suspicious circumstances, leaving the Warren Commission to construct a story that would stand for decades.

JFK’s Vision vs. Deep State Factions
Luna emphasized that Kennedy was pursuing peaceful cooperation with the Soviet Union, including discussions of a joint moon mission, at a time when factions within the U.S. intelligence community were pushing for war in Cuba and confrontation with Moscow.

“We never got those documents,” Luna told Rogan. “It’s my belief the CIA destroyed that evidence because it would have confirmed what the KGB found.”

The congresswoman painted a picture of internal sabotage: Kennedy’s attempts at diplomacy and space cooperation were weaponized against him, creating the perfect pretext for portraying him as a Communist sympathizer—a narrative convenient for the Deep State factions intent on preserving their Cold War agenda.

The KGB Profile of Oswald: A Man Unsuitable for Infamy
The files reportedly include a psychological evaluation of Oswald conducted during his time in Russia. According to Luna, the assessment depicts him as mentally unstable, incompetent with firearms, and ill-suited to be the lone assassin of a U.S. president. Russian observers reportedly noted his inability to shoot while hunting and questioned his sudden appearance at the Mexican embassy with a weapon, marking him as an unpredictable, erratic figure rather than a trained operative.

The Joannides File and CIA Deception
Luna connected these revelations to newly declassified CIA records, including the explosive “Joannides file.” George Joannides, a senior CIA officer, was observing Oswald while simultaneously lying to Congress and obstructing the JFK investigation. Luna explained:

“George Joannides was basically our version of James Bond, but more corrupt. He lied to Congress, stonewalled their investigations, and later received awards from the CIA. The CIA admits it lied to Congress and covered up investigations, while the Warren Commission engaged in witness intimidation and omitted critical evidence.”

A Multi-Shooter Conspiracy?
Luna underscored the implications for the long-debated single bullet theory, asserting that evidence now shows Lee Harvey Oswald was not acting alone. While she stopped short of naming the orchestrators of Kennedy’s assassination, she confirmed the existence of multiple shooters, calling into question the entire official narrative propagated for decades.

Russia Finally Agrees to Public Release
The KGB files, which Luna described as unattainable to U.S. investigators since the 1990s, are now slated for public release this fall. Luna says she will see the documents at the same time as the American public, opening the door for a long-overdue reexamination of history.

“This is the first time the Russian government has agreed to make its JFK investigation public,” Luna said. “It contains profiles, evidence, and insights the previous Congressional Task Force could not access. The American people will finally have the chance to see what really happened behind the scenes.”
