Starting January 2026, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will begin a controversial six-year pilot program to use artificial intelligence to help decide whether certain medical procedures for seniors will be covered. Under the so-called Wasteful and Inappropriate Service Reduction (WISeR) Model, AI will scan patient requests for treatments such as skin and tissue substitutes, electrical nerve-stimulator implants, and knee arthroscopy for osteoarthritis—and flag them for approval or denial. While CMS claims a human employee will still make the “final decision,” critics warn the system is ripe for abuse.
The Official Line vs. the Real Agenda
CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz insists the WISeR Model will “crush fraud, waste, and abuse” while protecting seniors from “unnecessary and costly procedures.” But buried beneath the polished press release is a far more sobering reality: the contractors running these AI reviews are financially incentivized to deny coverage. As Kevin Thompson, CEO of 9i Capital Group, bluntly told Newsweek, “If contractors are rewarded for reducing or denying coverage, that’s exactly what will happen—more denials. It’s as simple as following the money.”
The pilot will roll out in Arizona, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Washington—six states that will serve as the testing ground for what could eventually become a national policy. The stakes are enormous: according to a 2024 Senate committee report, AI-linked care denials were 16 times higher than decisions made without the technology.
From “Efficiency” to Eugenics?
While the Trump administration frames this as a fraud-reduction measure, there’s an eerie overlap with the globalist technocratic vision long promoted by the World Economic Forum, the WHO, and other unelected bodies: using algorithms and predictive analytics to ration medical care under the guise of “cost efficiency” and “sustainability.” Once AI becomes the gatekeeper for life-saving procedures, the power to decide who lives and who dies shifts from doctors and patients to an unaccountable machine—controlled, ultimately, by the same elites pushing centralized health governance.
Bible prophecy warns of a coming system where human life is weighed against economic and political priorities, not moral or divine ones (Revelation 13). By conditioning Americans—especially the elderly—to accept AI-controlled rationing, we are inching toward a prophetic fulfillment where “no man might buy or sell” (or in this case, receive medical care) without approval from the system.
What This Means for Seniors
Currently, traditional Medicare requires far fewer prior authorizations than Medicare Advantage. But under this program, even one-time approvals could become multi-layered, slowing care and raising denial rates. That delay can be deadly when dealing with cancer treatment, neurological conditions, or cardiac issues.
Thompson warns: “The bigger concern is how the financial incentives are structured… Whether a treatment is truly necessary or not becomes secondary to the incentive structure.” Alex Beene, a University of Tennessee instructor, put it bluntly: “The term ‘Medicare Advantage’ has left many asking what the real advantage was… AI pre-authorization steps are raising concerns—and rightfully so.”
The Prophetic and Political Takeaway
While the headlines pitch this as a modernization effort, the underlying danger is clear: when AI becomes a filter for human survival, personal liberty is one keystroke away from annihilation. Today it’s knee surgery; tomorrow it could be chemotherapy—or access to any care at all.
We are watching the fusion of Big Data, Big Government, and Big Pharma—exactly the infrastructure needed for the prophesied one-world health and economic control grid. The WISeR Model is just another brick in the wall.
