After reports that all of the red heifers in Israel had been disqualified from ceremonial use, a shocking update has surfaced: a red heifer sacrifice may have already taken place last month — the first in over 2,000 years.

The news comes from Byron Stinson, the man responsible for bringing the heifers from Texas to Israel. In a widely circulated social media post, Stinson confirmed:

“This is the burning from July 1. It was not on the Mount of Olives and some Jewish leaders feel it does not pass all the requirements they support. But it was real and the first in 2000 years.”

Controversy Over Location and Requirements

While some Jewish leaders have questioned whether the July 1 ceremony met the strict requirements outlined in oral Torah traditions, Stinson says the sacrifice was conducted perfectly according to those present — with a perfect priest, a perfect red heifer, and in a location “outside the camp.”

Still, many insist that the true prophetic sacrifice must take place on the Mount of Olives, as this is where the ashes would be obtained to purify priests for the building of the Third Temple. Stinson agrees the Mount of Olives site “would make perfect, logical sense” and hinted that additional ceremonies may be performed there in the future.

A Prophetic Puzzle Piece?

Stinson also revealed that hopes remain high of finding previous red heifer ashes during archaeological digs. These could be mixed with new ashes for purification purposes — a major prophetic milestone for Temple readiness.

Perhaps most intriguing, Stinson confirmed there are more pure red heifers still in Texas, meaning additional sacrifices could be performed “in God’s time.”

“It is written. So it will happen,” Stinson emphasized.

The Bigger Picture

Whether or not the July 1 event qualifies as the true red heifer sacrifice, one thing is certain — the mere fact that such ceremonies are happening at all is a profound prophetic sign. As history and prophecy converge in real time, the disputes over details cannot hinder the sovereign purposes of God.

For Bible watchers, this is yet another puzzle piece snapping into place, pointing toward the days when the Temple will once again stand in Jerusalem.
