Amid growing frustration over endless foreign entanglements and ballooning taxpayer burdens, Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is sounding the alarm: continued U.S. funding for the war in Ukraine represents not just failed policy—but a betrayal of the American people.

Her blunt assessment comes as the Senate moves to greenlight another $54.6 billion in Ukraine aid for fiscal years 2026 and 2027—despite President Donald Trump’s clear opposition and increasing public disillusionment.

“America Voted to End Foreign Wars”

In a fiery post on X (formerly Twitter), Greene declared, “Funding, fueling, and ultimately fighting Russia in Ukraine would be a complete betrayal to the majority of Americans,” referencing the overwhelming mandate from voters who ushered Trump back into the White House on a platform of non-intervention and America First.

“This is not what Americans voted for,” Greene said, slamming Republican and Democrat lawmakers alike for defying the will of the people. “America voted to end funding and fighting foreign wars.”

According to Greene, U.S. citizens—especially those under 50—are growing increasingly alienated from both parties. “The younger generation is beginning to feel completely unrepresented,” she warned, citing unaffordable living costs, a bleak economic future, and a growing sense that Washington elites are spending taxpayer dollars on foreign conflicts while ignoring crises at home.

Trump’s Warning: ‘Ukraine Aid Is a Scam’

President Trump has repeatedly criticized military aid to Ukraine, calling the war “Europe’s responsibility.” His administration has stressed the lack of transparency and oversight in the Biden-era aid packages, warning that billions of dollars have likely been embezzled, misused, or siphoned into corrupt networks.

Former Trump adviser Steve Cortes echoed the concern, calling Ukraine’s leadership “corrupt” and pointing to recent efforts by President Volodymyr Zelensky to dismantle anti-corruption bodies in Kiev. “They can’t be trusted,” Cortes said. “And we should not be borrowing money from our children to fund them.”

Greene has gone further, calling Zelensky a “dictator” and accusing him of actively blocking peace talks. She has demanded his removal from power, arguing that his regime has morphed into a militarized puppet state for globalist interests.

The Globalist Agenda: War Without End

Critics argue that the endless push for Ukraine funding reveals something deeper: a bipartisan addiction to foreign wars that serve elite interests, not national ones.

While Americans face soaring inflation, a border crisis, and deepening cultural unrest, the same politicians who dismiss those concerns are demanding billions for a foreign war with no defined strategy, no clear objective, and no accountability.

“It’s war without end, without limits, and without the consent of the governed,” said one conservative commentator. “And it’s being pushed by a uniparty that answers more to NATO, the IMF, and the World Economic Forum than to the American people.”

A Prophetic Parallel

This moment isn’t just political—it’s prophetic. Scripture warns of a time when nations are drawn into conflict not for justice, but for conquest—when kings will “rage against each other” and the people suffer for it. The effort to entangle the U.S. in yet another proxy war echoes the Bible’s warnings about alliances formed without God’s counsel and bloodshed driven by greed and pride.

As the Apostle James wrote: “You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and wage war.” (James 4:2)

Conclusion: America First or Forever War?

As the establishment moves to pour another $50+ billion into Ukraine, Rep. Greene’s warning cuts through the noise: Americans didn’t vote for this war. They voted to bring our troops home, secure our own borders, and rebuild our crumbling nation.

If Washington continues to ignore that mandate, the political cost may be greater than anyone expects.
