At the core of the newly released documents is a 2016 CIA memo that outlines Clinton’s approval of a plan to link Trump to Russian intelligence. President Trump, in a fiery interview Friday, accused Clinton of orchestrating a “massive hoax to rig the election and destroy my presidency.” He added: “What she did was treason. She weaponized our own government against me and against the American people. She should pay a very big price—and I mean a life sentence.”

The documents further suggest that high-ranking intelligence officials not only knew about Clinton’s plan but facilitated it.
