As the world clamors for “peace in the Middle East,” global leaders are unknowingly setting the stage for the most dangerous peace accord in human history—one foretold in the pages of Scripture.
On July 28–29, the United Nations convened in New York to finalize a document titled the “New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.” It is now set for formal adoption this September during the annual General Assembly.
The language is diplomatic.
The aim appears noble.
But for those who know their Bibles, this declaration is prophetic thunder.
“Peace and Safety” – The Words of Impending Judgment
In just one document, the UN used the phrase “peace and security” five times. The words “peace” or “peaceful” appear 28 times, while “security” is used 24 times.
If that sounds familiar, it should.
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:3
This is not poetic coincidence. This is prophetic alignment. Paul was clear that just before the Day of the Lord, the world would be crying out for “peace and safety.” And yet that very cry would be the trigger for sudden destruction.
The Missing Piece: The Rapture of the Church
The events of this past July are not the fulfillment of Daniel 9:27—but they are an eerie rehearsal. The UN has not yet brokered the covenant with death (Isaiah 28:15), but we are seeing the prelude to the deal that will plunge the world into Daniel’s 70th week, the seven-year Tribulation.
So what’s missing?
The Restrainer. The Church. The Rapture.
According to 2 Thessalonians 2:3–8, the Antichrist—the “man of lawlessness”—cannot be revealed until the One who restrains is taken out of the way. That “One” is the Holy Spirit working through the body of Christ.
Only after the Rapture can the final covenant be signed.
Only after the removal of the true Church can the deceiver arise.
Until then, we’re watching the pieces fall perfectly into place.
UN Declaration: A Blueprint for Daniel 9:27
While not yet the Antichrist’s treaty, the New York Declaration is a prototype—a globalist framework laying the groundwork for the future false peace agreement between Israel and “the many.”
This push for a two-state solution:
- Elevates the international community as the broker of peace
- Demands Israeli concessions for “security guarantees”
- Pressures Israel to divide Jerusalem and the land
- Echoes the prophetic warnings of Joel 3:2 and Zechariah 12:3
“They have divided up My land.” — Joel 3:2
“All who try to move it will injure themselves.” — Zechariah 12:3
These declarations are not just misguided. They are spiritually dangerous.
They are signs we are nearing the end of the Church Age.
We Are Living on the Edge of Eternity
In recent years, prophecy watchers have noted an acceleration—a convergence of signs pointing to the soon return of Christ. And this UN declaration is yet another confirmation.
- The rise of global governance
- The hatred of Israel
- The demand to divide Jerusalem
- The obsession with “peace and security”
- The moral collapse of the West
- The cry for a strongman to guarantee stability
We are watching the shadows of Antichrist stretch across the global stage. And yet, before he rises, we must be taken out of the way.
Final Thoughts: Imminent Departure
If you’re weary, look up.
If you’re watching, don’t grow silent.
If you’re waiting, get ready.
The Church’s time on earth is running out. The trumpet could sound at any moment.
The world’s demand for a two-state solution isn’t the solution at all.
It’s the final warning.
