“Julie says it will be a long-term affair to demonize Putin and Trump. Now it is good for a post-convention bounce. Later the FBI will put more oil into the fire.”
Just days later, on July 31, 2016, disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok launched the infamous Crossfire Hurricane investigation based on unverified third-hand gossip, not actual intelligence. Judicial Watch later obtained the “electronic communication” memo that initiated the probe, confirming that the FBI acted without legitimate cause. The now-debunked Steele Dossier, financed by the Clinton campaign, was fed to the media and intelligence community to give the hoax legitimacy.
