In a dramatic twist in the long-running Epstein investigation, Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin has called for subpoenas to compel former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, former Trump official Kash Patel, and conservative commentator Dan Bongino to testify under oath regarding their knowledge of the Epstein files. The demand, issued during a heated House Oversight Committee session, signals an aggressive new phase in the battle over what the government—and key political insiders—knew about Epstein’s sprawling blackmail network.
Raskin’s Push: Politics or Genuine Transparency?
Rep. Raskin, known for his role in impeachment proceedings and high-profile hearings, insisted that Bondi, Patel, and Bongino each hold critical information related to Jeffrey Epstein’s prosecution—or lack thereof.
“We need to get to the bottom of who protected Epstein, who enabled his operations, and who buried the truth,” Raskin said. “That includes individuals who served in government, worked in intelligence, and may now be using media platforms to spin the narrative.”
Raskin claims that all three individuals had either direct contact with intelligence operations involving Epstein or access to sealed information that could shed light on high-level cover-ups.
Pam Bondi Under the Microscope Again
Pam Bondi, who served as Florida’s top prosecutor while Epstein was under scrutiny for his original sweetheart deal, has faced mounting questions over her lack of action in pursuing the case more aggressively. Critics argue she played a key role in allowing Epstein to escape serious punishment.
“This isn’t about political score-settling,” said Raskin. “It’s about public accountability for decisions that let a known predator walk free.”
Kash Patel and Bongino: Intelligence Ties Raise Eyebrows
Kash Patel, a former Pentagon chief of staff and top aide to Rep. Devin Nunes, played a key role in uncovering deep state corruption—but Raskin now alleges he may have knowledge of classified Epstein files through his work in national security and counterterrorism.
Meanwhile, Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent turned conservative media personality, is being scrutinized over his past assignments in high-level protective details—assignments that, Raskin suggests, could have placed him “close to key players and events involving Epstein.”
Both Patel and Bongino have dismissed the subpoena threat as a politically motivated witch hunt designed to discredit Trump-era officials and conservative voices.
What’s Really Behind the Subpoenas?
Some insiders warn that Raskin’s move may be less about transparency and more about reclaiming narrative control as pressure builds from both political parties to release the full Epstein files.
