(honestly, I thought this was already EVERY government’s military (US included) policy – to shot to kill any soldier deserting his post or running away from a battle.)

Deputies from Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky’s party have proposed a new law to allow commanders to KILL their soldiers in order to stop mass surrender by Ukrainian troops and flight from their positions.

The bill has the number 7351 and was published on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada, which is the Ukraine legislature as shown below:

So while one part of the Bill talks about doing “no harm” the very next part of the Bill says a Commander can give an order to a subordinate to USE WEAPONS to stop the troops.  i.e. Kill them.   They REMOVED the section that previously read “if do not cause death ! ! ! “

Editorial Opinion

This is the level of fanaticism in the Ukraine government. Put simply, they are losing the war, they KNOW they’re losing, and they seem to be going insane over it.

Passing a new law to KILL their own troops??????

Is __this__ worthy of American taxpayer support? Is __this__ worthy of NATO support?

No.

It is time to tell Ukraine this situation has gone too far, and they must make peace with Russia. To do otherwise would make we in the West as insane as Ukraine seems to be going.

The commander of the 36th Marine Brigade personally reports he buried more than 50 dead soldiers, while the command wrote them down as “deserters” and “missing in action.”

The captured Marine commander told of a failed attempted counterattack by the AFU, which resulted in the complete destruction of convoys of military equipment and the elimination of most of the personnel. Having changed into civilian clothes, he tried to go into the city and hide among civilians, but was caught by the Donetsk commandant’s office and taken prisoner.

He said that he was ordered to bury the killed subordinates right at his positions. Later, he learned that they were listed as deserters and missing in action in the official lists, so Ukraine does not have to pay the family any death benefits or pensions.

THIS is what the west is actually supporting when it supports Ukraine. This is insanity and it should stop.
