IDF retaliates for rocket launches, blast heard in Northern Gaza.
Arab media are reporting that the IDF is attacking in Gaza, in retaliation for two rockets launched earlier on Saturday towards central Israel.
The report was later confirmed by the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.
“According to foreign media reports, the IDF at close to midnight began attacking targets in northern Gaza, in response to the rocket fire towards Gush Dan (central Israel) during the morning, which was claimed to have occurred by mistake,” a Maariv report said.
“An IDF spokesperson has updated that no attack on Gaza is taking place right now,” Amir Bohbot wrote on Telegram.
Now14 quoted MK Itamar Ben Gvir (Otzma Yehudit) as saying, “I’m happy to see that [Israeli Prime Minister] Naftali Bennett ended his Shabbat (Sabbath) at the later time, and has not yet given approval for the IDF to respond to the rocket fire. We’ll wait.”
Shortly afterwards, Now14 reported that the IDF was attacking in Gaza, and that reports from Gaza claimed that planes were flying overhead and an explosion had been heard in northern Gaza.
What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He previously prepared for glory, even us, whom He has called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?
