For decades now western culture has taken great pride over “western medicine” as a product of modern times and the “age of science.”
The belief that modern medicine has achieved great success in overcoming historical diseases that prior to the advent of modern medicine plagued and killed humanity is drilled into anyone who grew up in a western country with a western education.
Older traditional systems of dealing with health and sickness are thought to be antiquated and inferior, which includes bodies of health information that have been around for many thousands of years in non-western countries, such as “Traditional Chinese Medicine” (TCM) or “Ayurveda” practices in South Asia, mainly in India.
Notice, for example, how the Big Pharma-controlled Wikipedia describes Ayurveda:
Ayurveda is an alternative medicine system with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent. The theory and practice of Ayurveda is pseudoscientific. The Indian Medical Association describes Ayurvedic practitioners who claim to practice medicine as quacks. Ayurveda is heavily practiced in India and Nepal, where around 80% of the population report using it.
So a country like India where 80% of the population uses a system of healing that is over 2000 years old is considered “pseudoscientific” and the western pharmaceutical-based medical association in that country, the “Indian Medical Association,” calls them “quacks” which of course should surprise nobody, since pharmaceutical based medicine today, no matter what country you live in, cannot tolerate any competition.
Western medicine based on pharmaceutical products, of course, has only been around for a couple of hundred years, taking roots in America in the later half of the 1800s and early 1900s.
How in the world did the human race survive so long without pharmaceutical products? If we were to take the western-based statements that they claim for themselves regarding “science” and “medicine” at face value, we have to conclude that human beings should have become extinct on this planet thousands of years ago!
Western Medicine is a Product of the Bankers and Globalists Designed to Bring Great Profit and Control for them, While Enslaving the Masses
If I had published this article pre-COVID in 2020, once most people reach this section and its sub heading stating that medicine is designed to bring great profit and control for the Globalists who control the world, I would have probably lost 90%+ of the readers at this point, writing me off as a “conspiracy theorist.”
But now that western medicine has thrown off its cloak of secrecy and exposed itself for what it truly is, at least for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear and do not get their main information from the pharma-owned corporate media, it makes a lot more sense now when you try to figure out how this bloated medical system can promote a product that has ZERO health benefits, and carries risks of great harm and death, and yet mandate it for the entire population where most take it willingly.
All of a sudden this statement makes a lot more sense based on what we have all just gone through for the past 18 months or so, as most of the world is now heading into a medical police state where medical products are forced upon the population whether they want them or not.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, the western pharmaceutical-based system of “health” depends upon sick people to earn profits. With one exception (see below), healthy people are a major cause of business loss for this system and their products.
So for the system to grow, it needs more sick people, not less. For how many years now, for example, have you been solicited by “non-profit” charities to contribute money to Big Pharma to find a “cure for cancer?” These charities have been “searching for a cure for cancer” for over 50 years now!
And they use scare tactics to get people to give money for cancer charities, by projecting how many more people will be diagnosed with cancer in the future.
How can they make these predictions? Because they actually have NO PLAN to cure cancer at all, only manage it with drugs and grow their market, and of all the multiple cancer cures that have actually been successfully discovered over the years without using pharmaceutical products, ALL of them have been outlawed as “pseudoscience” and their practitioners have been treated as “quacks” and criminals, driving these natural, successful therapies out of the U.S. where the FDA and CDC will not allow them to exist.
You cannot find a single therapeutic product approved by the FDA in United States that is natural, and cannot be patented. None. Patentable expensive pharmaceutical products are the only products the FDA approves or authorizes, and all competition is vehemently opposed and outlawed.
We are seeing it today with natural treatments that easily treat COVID symptoms such as vitamin C and vitamin D, as well as older drugs that no longer have patents in tact, such as Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, so that new vaccines and drugs can be developed for what instantly became the largest market in the world: COVID-19 treatments.
I learned this fact firsthand myself, the hard way, in 2005 when the full weight of the FDA was brought down on me and my company for selling coconut oil as a dietary oil, and daring to publish customer testimonials about how after switching from toxic, hydrogenated polyunsaturated oils such as corn oil and soybean oil, which only became dietary oils after WWII and the development of the technology to squeeze oil out of corn and soybeans, to a healthy saturated fat like coconut oil which has been in the human diet, particularly in tropical climates where the coconuts grow, for many thousands of years.
I was sent a warning letter from the FDA demanding that I cease making “health claims” for coconut oil, because I did not have their permission, and their sister regulatory agency, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) had determined that coconut oil was harmful to one’s health because it was a “saturated fat.”
I was threatened with arrest and seizure of all of my inventory if I did not stop publishing peer-reviewed literature and customer testimonials about how coconut oil had changed their life by bringing true healing, from a natural, non-patentable product like coconut oil.
We reached a compromise and put all of our information about the health properties of coconut oil on a separate website where we did not sell the product, so that we could avail of the First Amendment of Freedom of Speech, as long as we did not link to the products we were selling which the FDA claimed we were selling as “unapproved drugs.”
To this day the war on coconut oil continues, being demonized as a “saturated fat” that the American public has been brainwashed into believing is the cause of high cholesterol and heart disease, propping up the multi-billion dollar cholesterol-lowering statin drug industry, as well as the geriatric drug industry that treats diseases that are primarily caused by having your cholesterol too low (25% of your body’s cholesterol is in your brain), such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and many other forms of dementia that the pharmaceutical industry profits from.
Long before the big bad COVID bug invaded us and changed our lives forever, the medical system was the #1 cause of death in the United States, killing more people than any other single disease.
But those of us who have been educated in western culture have been taught our whole lives that modern medicine and science have saved the human race, and that we cannot live without it. Doctors are revered with the same respect that cultures in the past have worshiped as “priests” whom we were to seek out for our salvation.
There is, however, one product that the pharmaceutical industry developed in the late 1800s that does NOT depend upon sick people to keep the market flowing through endless treatments. It is the one exception in the medical system, because it is primarily marketed to healthy people, and not sick people.
It was a very ingenious idea, to say the least, because it was a product that could be sold and administered to healthy people with no reliance on diagnoses of illness, providing an endless stream of revenue: Vaccines.
Vaccines are one of the few products of the medical system that is not even marketed for curing a disease a person might have. It is solely marketed by fear, scaring one with the thought that in the future one might “catch” one of these dreaded diseases. So the product is marketed as a “protection” to the “dreaded diseases” through fear.
It is actually modeled after the very successful insurance industry, by purchasing a product that at the time of purchase conveys absolutely no benefit at all, other than the “peace of mind” that you’re “covered” from future bad things that might happen in your life.
At least that is what they want you to believe, until you end up getting the same disease you were vaccinated for, or you try to collect on an insurance claim for something that you thought was actually covered by your insurance policy but that they fight you with their top attorneys often to NOT pay out a claim.
Vaccines are almost NEVER marketed as a cure for disease, only as an “insurance policy” against those diseases that you “might catch.” Hence, they can be marketed to people who are not even sick.
From a pure profit and loss business perspective, it is absolutely brilliant, and it provides a steady stream of customers and resell products.
Naturally, it begins at birth and is administered more often at very young ages by injecting babies and young children at “well baby” doctor visits where the only purpose of the doctor visit is to have the doctor declare your child “healthy” and then proceed to inject them with toxic vaccines.
They call this “science,” but it is actually more similar to a religion, with the doctors replacing priests.
Side effects of injecting a healthy person with toxins that are designed to attack your immune system in order to create a response, are well known and even published, but the marketing is so strong and so persuasive, that the customers just excuse these side effects as necessary for the “greater good” of society and preventing things like “pandemics,” something that is necessary to have from time to time to keep the fear motive strong among the public.
And of course all those side effects, such as allergies, chronic infections, autoimmune diseases, autism, etc., just provide steady customers for more medical products and services, all in the name of “science.”
It is a very brilliant system, if profit and control is your goal, and not REAL health which is a terrible business model.
This business model reached its peak with the development of “viruses,” specifically the annual “influenza virus,” which became a vaccine product to prevent against that could be marketed to every single person on the planet, based on fear.
If you want to learn more about the rise of the pharmaceutical industry in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, you need to learn about the history of Big Oil and their takeover of western economics, as Big Pharma products are a result of the development of Big Oil and the Rockefellers’ control in the U.S., along with the Rothchilds in Europe, of western economic systems.
Traditional Healing Systems Have been Primarily Energy-based Dealing with Spiritual Issues in Addition to Physical Issues
The oldest healing systems in the world today historically have been systems based on “energy” or “spiritual” forces. This would include TCM and Ayurveda, systems used for thousands of years in the two most populous areas of earth, China and India.
The physical components of our bodies are a very small percentage of who we are. We are primarily beings of energy and spirit, and pretty much all older healing systems acknowledged this fact.
Looking only at the physical components of our body for healing is a recent phenomenon, starting with the switch to Darwinian evolutionary biology in the 1800s.
A more recent healing system based primarily on energy is the field of Homeopathy, which was developed by a German physician named Samuel Hanhemann (1744-1843). His teaching came to the United States in the early 1800s, and for some years was the primary “medical system” used in the United States.
American homeopaths were successful treating cholera in the 1830s.
They added to their reputation when in 1878 a yellow fever epidemic spread from New Orleans into the Mississippi Valley with alarming death rates: 4,600 of 27,000 cases in New Orleans, 5,000 out of 18,500 cases in Memphis with a total of 15,934 deaths out of 74,265 cases reported in the Mississippi Valley.
Homeopathic physicians in New Orleans had treated 1,945 cases with loss of 110. In the rest of the south they had treated 1,969 cases with loss of 151–7.7%. The overall death rate for reported cases in the south was at least 16%.
The French Government awarded a gold medal to a French homeopath for his work during the New Orleans epidemic. Homeopaths were very popular at this time in the U.S., and the remedies have virtually zero toxic side effects. If you are given the wrong remedy, nothing happens.
But homeopathy was quashed by Rockefeller chemical-based pharmaceutical medicine, and the forming of the America Medical Association (AMA). Homeopathic remedies are made from nature, and they are diluted to such a small amount that often only the energy signatures of the original natural substances are left, with little or no physical element present. Hence, there was not much money to be made from producing homeopathic remedies.
Homeopathy still exists in the U.S. today, but people practicing homeopathy are not licensed physicians, and the FDA has been working hard at trying to outlaw homeopathic remedies.
In India today, where the population is still used to energy-based medicine due to their history of Ayuverda practice, homeopathy is alive and well and even recognized by the Government as an official system of healing. There are many thousands of hospitals in India today practicing energy-based healing with homeopathy.
Even within ancient Greek culture, which brought to us empiricism and much of the beginnings of modern day “science” and academic thought, they believed in a spirit world and approached healing from not just the physical realm, but also the spiritual.
They looked to their Greek gods, such as Apollo and Zeus, for healing in addition to using physical remedies. They understood that there was a spiritual/energy aspect of health also, and they sought the favor of their gods to affect healing.
Hippocrates, considered by many to the be the father of modern medicine, formed a kind of “physicians guild” to uphold a higher standard of ethics in the healing arts, and developed the “The Hippocratic Oath,” still widely referred to today thousands of years later.
Most medical schools still have some form of the original oath that they require their students to take, but probably all of them have left out the opening of the original:
“I swear by Apollo the physician, and Asclepius, and Hygieia and Panacea and all the gods and goddesses as my witnesses, that, according to my ability and judgement, I will keep this Oath and this contract…”
Pharmaceutical Based Medicines no Better than Placebos – Energy Created by Beliefs are Still the Main Mechanisms for Healing
In 2012 the CBS news program “60 Minutes” produced a story featuring Dr. Irving Kirsch’s research on placebos and antidepressant drugs.
To anyone who believes that popular antidepressant drugs prescribed for depression have solid scientific evidence based on sound research, you owe it to yourself to invest 14 minutes of your time to watch this exposé featuring interviews with Dr. Irving Kirsch, the associate director of the Placebo Studies Program at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Michael Thase, a professor of psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (a consultant to many of the drug companies and presenting the opposing view), Dr. Walter Brown, a clinical professor of psychiatry at Brown University’s Medical School, Dr. Tom Laughren, director of the FDA’s division of psychiatry products (defending the drugs), and Dr. Tim Kendall, a practicing psychiatrist and co-director of a commission that advises the National Health Service in Great Britain.
Dr. Kirsch’s work proved not only that antidepressant drugs had no therapeutic value in terms of their chemical makeup, and that it was solely the patient’s belief in that drug that made them well, he showed how the power of the placebo effect worked with other drugs as well, and even with surgery.
He discussed a study conducted on knee surgery for osteoarthritis where some patients simply had their knees opened up and closed back again with no work done on the knee itself, as compared to those who did receive surgical treatments on their knees. He stated:
In terms of walking and climbing, the people who got the placebo actually did better than the people who got the real surgery.
Watch this incredible interview that should have resulted in major changes to the pharmaceutical industry, as even the doctors who defend these drugs admit that the vast majority of people who take antidepressant drugs (86%) derive no benefit from them.
So with all the $TRILLIONS we spend on chemical-based pharmaceutical drugs which gives great wealth and control to the medical system, in the end most healing is still accomplished by energy and spirituality (what we believe).
Sadly, the reverse is also true, and the things we fear are usually not what makes us sick, but the fear itself.
This is the foundation of the entire pharmaceutical-based medical system, and when that fear is published all across the world and focused on what we are told is a single cause (a virus), just as we have seen for the past 18 months, people will be sick with something they attribute to a “killer virus” when they actually had no basis of fear to begin with.
The fear of “the virus” made the whole world believe that a seasonal influenza-type of illness was a “killer virus.”
The Best Ancient Healing System is Found in the Bible, and It’s Free
Ok, for all of you who like to email me and tell me to stop writing about “religion” and stick to the topic of vaccines, time for you to move on now.
And just for the record, again, I don’t write about or teach anything at all about “religion.” I am not part of any religious organization, and when I do write about religions, like “Christianity” for example, it is always negative and critical.
The principles that I am writing about here work for anyone, anywhere, anytime, regardless of religion, race, nationality, gender, or any other classification you want to use.
The only thing needed is an ancient collection of writings in a book called “the Bible,” the best-selling book of all time in human history, with no serious competitors.
In the pages of the New Testament portion of the Bible, we see that Jesus Christ was a master in energy/spiritual healing with a 100% success rate.
People brought all their sick to him (Jesus) and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed. (Matthew 14:35-36)
The purest form of energy healing centers around the healing “touch” of Jesus Christ. This verse from the Bible from the gospel of Matthew shows that when Jesus walked the earth in human form, that simply touching him brought about healing.
Here are a few more examples:
When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them. (Luke 4:40)
Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. For he had healed many, so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him. (Mark 3:9-10)
And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.
When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.”
Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”
“You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’”
But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.
Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth.
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
The superiority of Jesus’ energy to provide healing is easily understood when we consider who Jesus claims to be. The writer of the book of Hebrews in the Bible states:
In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. (Hebrews 1:1-3 – emphasis added)
In direct contrast to Darwinian evolution, Jesus is presented as the Creator of the universe.
Not only is Jesus the Creator, he is also the sustainer of the universe through his “powerful word.” Thus, all energy is created energy which originates in Jesus Christ. In addition, Jesus’ energy holds together the universe.
As we observe those who are healed by the touch of Jesus, they all have two things in common:
1. They had an encounter with Jesus. When Jesus walked the earth in human form that encounter was in real space and time and a physical encounter. Later, after he returned to heaven, that encounter was through his power (energy) flowing through his followers:
God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them. (Acts 19:11-12)
As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed. (Acts 5:15-16 – Emphasis mine)
2. The people seeking healing believed they would receive it from Jesus.
I do believe “energy medicine” will continue to gain popularity in western culture here in the 21st Century, but it is not “new-age” or new anything. It is as old as the universe itself.
What is new is the chemical-based pharmaceutical model, which ignores energy and spirituality completely, and yet takes advantage of it through the placebo effect.
So how do we move out of the current pharmaceutical paradigm and move into a system of energy healing through the power of Jesus Christ, as we observe happening in the early chapters of Acts, where it states: “Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed.”?
I believe that those of us who refuse to participate in the medical system, specifically the bioweapon COVID-19 shots, will soon need to start depending upon and using this system of healing that is still available today, and is a far superior form of healing.
The current pharmaceutical-based medical system has degenerated to such an extent that they are now openly killing people with their toxic shots, and with their COVID protocols, just to enrich the Globalists and give them control.
We are heading very quickly towards a Great Reset of our society, and I think it is useful to view what happened the last time humanity reached a Great Reset in the First Century AD when Jesus was executed, and raised from the dead to defeat the power of sin and death.
That was such a significant event in human history that it reset our calendars.
So let’s look at a few things from the opening chapters of the Book of Acts, also sometimes referred to as the Acts of the Apostles, and see if those principles might be repeated today with the coming “Great Reset.”
Waiting for an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit
In Acts chapter 1 we have the record of the Jesus’ last words to his disciples just before he went back up to heaven, and he tells them:
“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:4-5)
Prior to his public execution, the majority of the population of Jerusalem was believing that Jesus was going to setup a new Jewish kingdom and overthrow the Roman government. They had misinterpreted the prophecies that said he had to suffer and die as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, defeating death and the power of sin.
After he walked out of the grave by overcoming death, he appeared to about 500 people in his resurrection state, but by the time we get to Acts chapter 1, there were only about 120 of his followers left who were meeting together in Jerusalem waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit.
I think that we are reaching a similar point in history today, where the false believers in Jesus, which includes most in the corporate Christian church, are being revealed for who they are (children of Satan), and the true believers will soon need to be meeting together in secret, away from the authorities.
If things continue on their present course, the unvaccinated will constitute a small minority of the population.
Could there be a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in these last days as we wait for Jesus to implement his version of the coming “Great Reset?”
I think it is possible, so let’s see what happened in that First Century, because history has a way of usually repeating itself.
Miracles of Healing through the Holy Spirit
In Acts chapter 2 we see the promise of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit happen during the Feast of Pentecost, where there were people from throughout the Roman Empire visiting Jerusalem. The first sign of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was a miracle of tongues, where the disciples were given miraculous power to speak in languages they had never learned.
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:1-4)
Peter then got up and made a public address to the people explaining how this was the fulfillment of prophecy, that Jesus was really who he said he was, the Messiah, and the result was that many believed and were baptized and “about three thousand were added to their number that day. ”
So they very quickly grow from about 120 to 3000 in just one day. They started meeting together and sharing expenses.
The First Healing
Then the first dramatic healing came in Chapter 3.
One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon.
Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
Then Peter said,
“Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. (Act 3:1-8)
This would not have been the first time that Peter and John had entered the temple.
This was a daily event in those early days.
Three thousand people had just joined the fellowship of the apostles of Jesus, and more were being added daily. It appears that many of them met in the temple courts in those early days, in addition to meeting in homes throughout the city.
It is also noted that this was not the first day that the crippled beggar was present. The text states that he was put out there each day.
He seems to be well-known among those visiting the temple, and that would have included Peter and John.
We can conclude therefore, that Peter and John were not in the habit of walking around the temple each day at this point healing beggars, of which there were surely many.
These were mainly disabled people who were allowed to beg right in the temple to earn a living. According to Acts chapter 2, meetings among the new believers were held every day in the temple, primarily for the purpose of teaching about Jesus.
So why did a miracle of healing occur on this particular day? Why was only one man healed among what must have been many?
We don’t have the answers to those questions. We must safely conclude that the Holy Spirit of God directed Peter and John on that particular day to perform this miracle of healing.
The crippled man did not come to the temple that day expecting to be healed, and Peter and John apparently did not go to the temple with the idea of performing a healing. God directed the whole event — Peter and John apparently just followed directions.
When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
While the beggar held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade. (Act 3:9-11)
As can be imagined, seeing this man walking and jumping and praising God caused quite a commotion in the temple! Everyone recognized who this man was, and news apparently spread throughout the temple area quickly.
People literally ran to the place where Peter and John and the man were to find out what was going on.
When Peter saw this, he said to them:
“Men of Israel, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.
You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong.
It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.” (Act 3:12-16)
Peter makes it very clear that the miracle was not performed by his (or John’s) own power or “godliness.” God performed the miracle, through faith in Jesus.
The events of the life and crucifixion of Jesus would have been fresh in the memories of the people. Jesus had also performed miracles like this one.
Peter makes it very clear how the man was healed: “It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.“
The faith of Peter and John was the method that God used to perform this miracle. The idea did not originate with Peter and John, nor did the power to heal. God apparently communicated to them that the moment was right to see a miracle happen, and they believed him and acted on their faith.
Now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders. But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Christ would suffer.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ (Messiah), who has been appointed for you–even Jesus. (Act 3:17-20)
Jesus had gained quite a popular following in Jerusalem and around Israel until he was arrested and executed by being nailed to a cross at the direction of the Jewish religious leaders. Many people were undoubtedly discouraged at such a turn of events, having expected that Jesus was the Messiah (Christ) that he would setup a new Jewish kingdom in the line and heritage of their great kings of their past, like King David and Solomon.
But Peter states that they had acted in ignorance in not recognizing that Jesus was in fact the Messiah, not understanding that suffering was part of the plan for the Messiah. He gives them the invitation to:
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus.”
Jesus was still alive, because he was resurrected from the dead, and they were witnesses to that fact. Jesus’ death provided a means to have our sins “wiped out” and find new life.
Jesus — The Fulfillment of Prophecy
He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. For Moses said, “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from among his people.”
Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have foretold these days. And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, “Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.”
When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.” (Act 3:21-26)
There were so many pre-conceived ideas about who “the prophet” was according to the writings of Moses, and who the Messiah would be, that many did not accept that Jesus was the Messiah/Christ.
It was known for example, that the Christ would come from the city of David, Bethlehem. Jesus had lived in Galilee from most of his life prior to beginning his ministry, however, and it was not generally known that Jesus was actually born in Bethlehem to fulfill this prophecy.
Isaiah the prophet also foretold the suffering that Jesus would suffer on the cross, and most seemed to not understand that this was part of the prophecy about the Christ, since they were expecting a king to come and setup a physical kingdom.
So much of the teaching of those early days was showing how Jesus fulfilled all of these prophecies. He was indeed the Messiah, the Jewish king descended from the line of David, foretold by Moses and all the other prophets in the Old Testament. But instead of being received as their Messiah, he was executed.
The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people. They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. (Act 4:1-3)
So what was the result of healing the crippled beggar and explaining to the people how the healing occurred?
They were arrested and spent the night in jail.
The religious leaders of the day were divided into two ideological camps: the Pharisees and the Sadducees. Both parties ruled in the Sanhedrin, the Jewish judicial system of that day, similar to our “Supreme Court.”
During his ministry on earth, Jesus did not get along too well with either party. There were some secret believers, however, from among the Pharisee group. They were the majority group, and considered the “conservatives” because they held to the traditional teachings of the Old Testament scriptures.
The Sadducees were similar to modern day naturalists, as they did not believe in the resurrection of the body after death. So the teachings of Jesus, and now of his disciples who were claiming that Jesus was raised from the dead, especially upset them.
So one can imagine how upset they were at what Peter and John were preaching, saying that they were responsible for executing Jesus who was indeed the fulfillment of prophecy and the Messiah, and that contrary to their teaching, Jesus had in fact been raised from the dead.
The priests were also the ones responsible for administering and providing healing during those days, and Peter and John were “uneducated” men, and had not put in the years of studying that they had.
Because the healing happened in the temple and was witnessed by many people, they could not deny the event. So when they brought Peter and John to trial, they were not quite sure what to do with them:
The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people. They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.
They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. But many who heard the message believed, and the number of men grew to about five thousand.
The next day the rulers, elders and teachers of the law met in Jerusalem. Annas the high priest was there, and so were Caiaphas, John, Alexander and the other men of the high priest’s family. They had Peter and John brought before them and began to question them:
“By what power or what name did you do this?”
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them:
“Rulers and elders of the people! If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. He is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”
When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say. So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.
“What are we going to do with these men?” they asked. “Everybody living in Jerusalem knows they have done an outstanding miracle, and we cannot deny it. But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this name.”
Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened. For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old. (Act 4:1-22)
These religious leaders, the same ones who had Jesus executed, were not happy that a healing was conducted in their jurisdiction, the temple. They were the authority in the land, and something like this should not have happened without their direction and approval. And how could they approve of something that was accredited to someone whom they had executed?
What a quandary! They thought they had gotten rid of the threat to their power by executing Jesus, the leader of this movement, but now the same things were happening with his disciples. Not knowing quite what to do about it, they ordered Peter and John to stop speaking about Jesus (which they refused to do).
Principles of the Story
1. The source of healing is Jesus.
Jesus provides the most basic and essential healing everyone needs, and that is spiritual healing from our sins which will result in physical death.
As I have written in previous articles, spiritual healing is of much more value than just physical healing. Our bodies wear out, grow old, and eventually stop functioning and begin decaying.
Any physical healing along the way is simply temporary, and does not stop the inevitable physical death. Spiritual health is concerned with not just our physical bodies, but our relationship to our Creator and our eternal destiny as well.
But in this story we see that Jesus was also the cause of temporary physical healing. God decided to heal this man, and communicated this to Peter and John, who believed and acted. God used the faith of Peter and John in this situation.
The naturalistic approach to healing sees only naturalistic cause and effect elements involved in healing, with the knowledge of the healer(s) being seen as responsible for the healing.
But no cure, whether medical or natural, can cure 100% of the time, and none of them can prevent ultimate physical death.
When God makes a decision to heal, it happens 100% of the time. And Jesus has power over physical death, as he proved by walking out of the grave on the third day.
2. Peter and John were servants, not magicians (doctors)
As was noted above, Peter and John were in the habit of going into the temple each day, but this was the only day we see them heal someone in the temple.
If they truly had the power to heal like this any time they wished, you would certainly think they could devote at least a couple of hours a day to seeing patients and healing them, functioning like modern day “doctors.”
But they were not magicians (or “doctors”) who could heal of their own power and own knowledge. They make it very clear that the power and knowledge to heal came through the authority (name) of Jesus, and by faith in Jesus.
Jesus did not leave them with some magical formula to go around and use to heal people whenever they wanted. He left them with his authority to heal, in his name. This is a very important distinction.
Think of it this way: A king sits on his throne ruling over his kingdom. He is the supreme authority. He finds out that someone in a distant part of his kingdom is sick, so he sends two of his servants to that place with the remedy to heal the person.
The servants arrive at the place of the patient, apply the cure, and the person is healed. The people living there might marvel and start heaping thanks and praise on the servants that brought the cure.
But the servants were simply acting under authority of the king. The king made the decision, the king supplied the remedy, and the king sent his servants to perform the healing. The servants simply obeyed (believed) and acted on the authority of the king.
We see this principle of authority in healing in one of the stories about Jesus healing someone, a Roman soldier in this case:
When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.
“Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering.”
Jesus said to him, “I will go and heal him.”
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, “I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith…”
Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! It will be done just as you believed it would.”
And his servant was healed at that very hour. (Mat 8:5-13)
A magician (or “doctor”), on the other hand, has his own knowledge and acts on his own authority. He creates his own potions (medicines) and cures, and uses his own knowledge to try and affect cures. If the cure works, he takes the credit.
But their knowledge is limited, as are their cures.
“Magic” is still practiced today, as true science has been replaced with “scientism“, which is rooted in the belief in Darwinian evolution, a belief system.
Medicine is disguised and promoted as “scientific,” and studies are published in what are considered “peer-reviewed” scientific journals. But fraud is rampant in most of these studies today, with obvious conflicts of interest in wanting to maintain the huge medical system that drives the economy of the world today.
It is interesting to note that the Greek word for our English “medicine” is pharmakeia, from which we get English words such as “pharmacy”, “pharmaceutical,” and “pharmacist.”
Outside of the biblical New Testament texts (written in Greek), pharmakeia would probably most often be translated into English as “medicine.”
But in the Bible it is translated by words such as “sorcery,” “magic arts,” or “witchcraft.”
If you do a search in the English translations of the Bible for the word “medicine,” the passages containing the Greek word “pharmakeia” will not turn up, even though it is a valid translation.
But since the word was associated in lists of evil acts in the Biblical literature, the modern English translators did not consider it appropriate to use “medicine” due to western culture’s positive view of medicine. Instead they used words like “sorcery,” “magic arts,” or “witchcraft.”
See Galatians 5:19-21, for example, and try to guess which English word in that passage is used to translate “pharmakeia” from the original Greek.
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)
The English translators chose to use the English word “witchcraft” for pharmakeia, which really should have been translated as “idolatry and medicines….”
3. The consequence of not following the world’s prescribed method of healing is persecution.
Peter and John were simple fishermen by trade, and here they walk into the temple one day and in the name of Jesus heal a crippled beggar.
Only the priests were supposed to administer healing and healthcare during those days, after studying and being trained for many years. This action was a direct threat to their authority and control over the people.
Are things much different today?
No! Jesus sits on his throne in heaven and is still the supreme authority in matters of healing. Yes, it is possible to find unauthorized cures.
But as I have written in a previous article, trusting in anything or anyone other than our Creator who put us here on earth, and our Savior Jesus who has redeemed us from our sins, amounts to idolatry.
God wants us to trust in him for all of our needs. There are natural cures that can also be used in healing, but we are not to put our faith in them, treating them as idols. We are to trust in the Creator and the natural order he created that allows these cures to exist.
The best and most effective cures will be the result of a relationship with our Creator, allowing him to prescribe the healing, and then using the authority of Jesus to enact it.
As we develop our relationship with him, it is even possible to see healing occur at times without natural remedies, or where natural remedies fail, simply by using the authority that Jesus gives to us, as happened in this story in Acts.
Miracles can still happen today. The only thing that prevents them is our unbelief. Miracles originate from God’s decision and action. We humans cannot create or cause miracles. But we have to believe that miracles still exist, or we will never see one because of our unbelief.
Unfortunately, we have ruling health authorities in our society today who do not acknowledge the authority of Jesus in our culture, just as Peter and John did in their day. If you don’t follow their rule of authority, you can expect persecution.
And we are seeing that happen today with the roll out of “vaccine passports” and mandatory COVID shots as a condition for employment and other areas of society. At some point, some of us may also end up in prison or “COVID camps” for refusing to bow to their authority.
But if you follow Jesus’ authority your future destiny is secure and you have nothing to fear! Jesus said:
“If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?“(Mat 16:24-26)
When Truth Becomes Popular: A New Kind of Problem Arises
If miracles of healing do start occurring outside of the medical system, you can expect another kind of problem: infiltration of false believers.
In the first few chapters of the book of Acts, many Jews had made the pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the Feast of Pentecost, and were far from their homes. So as they stayed on, they started sharing their expenses and many people sold property to help cover the costs.
As soon as money gets involved, we can expect trouble to be not far behind, and that is what happened here also, as is recorded at the beginning of Acts 5:
Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.
Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God.”
When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened. Then the young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him.
About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?”
“Yes,” she said, “that is the price.”
Peter said to her, “How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”
At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. Great fear seized the whole assembly and all who heard about these events. (Acts 5:1-11)
The text before this had stated that about 5000 men had believed and joined their fellowship, which would have represented many thousands of people when you include the extended families.
So not only did they have persecution from the outside by the authorities, they had problems inside also with false believers trying to take advantage of them.
As More People Believe, Healing Increases
But the healings were so convincing and so evident, that the people who could not find healing elsewhere started coming from even outside of Jerusalem, from the surrounding towns.
The apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade.
No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people.
Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.
Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed. (Acts 5:12-16)
Now we move from the single miraculous healing of a single beggar in the temple, to everyone who came to them being healed!
What we see happening here is not just the faith of the apostles, but due to the very obvious miracles and healings, we see what can happen when the tide turns in the culture and everyone starts believing!
This is exactly what is needed today, in the 21st Century post-COVID culture! We are dominated by a Satanic culture of fear, that zaps the people’s faith.
We need to gather together with other believers who are resisting the Satanic medical system, and look to God to provide healing not only for ourselves, but for others in our community, especially those who have suffered from vaccines and medicines.
Once the community sees people being healed apart from the medical system, faith will be increased, and the miracles will follow as God is always true to his word, if people simply believe him.
I wish this story in the First Century ended with Acts 5 and whole towns coming to the believers to be healed successfully, but unfortunately the story did not end there.
Expect Persecution Once Non-Medical Energy-Based Healings Start
Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail.
But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out.
“Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people the full message of this new life.”
At daybreak they entered the temple courts, as they had been told, and began to teach the people.
When the high priest and his associates arrived, they called together the Sanhedrin–the full assembly of the elders of Israel–and sent to the jail for the apostles.
But on arriving at the jail, the officers did not find them there. So they went back and reported, “We found the jail securely locked, with the guards standing at the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside.”
On hearing this report, the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests were puzzled, wondering what would come of this.
Then someone came and said, “Look! The men you put in jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people.”
At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people would stone them.
Having brought the apostles, they made them appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest.
“We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”
Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than men! The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead–whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel. We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. (Acts 5:17-33)
The power and authority to heal is the power and authority to control life itself, and the Satanic Globalists will not just step aside and surrender their power and their (perceived) authority.
The apostles in this instance were released again, due to a respected member of the council named Gamaliel, a lawyer, who advised against them being executed.
But the executions did begin shortly after this, as Stephen is murdered in Acts 7, which began a period of arrests and imprisonments.
In Acts 12, James, the brother of John and one of the original apostles, is executed.
This drove the movement of The Way underground, and many left Jerusalem, which only resulted in more miracles and more healings happening around the world as the power of Jesus and the power to heal kept on spreading, even in the face of intense persecution.
Conclusion: The Great Reset is Almost Here
Today we stand at the edge of history, and few can now deny that there will not soon be a “Great Reset.” People are dying in massive numbers from the COVID injections as a eugencist population control plan is being implemented. The world’s economic system is also about to crash.
The “healthcare” system, which is really a “medical management” system that has nothing to do with real health, is also about to crash.
A “great reset” is inevitable. The only question remaining is “Which reset is it going to be?”
Will it be the prophesied Messianic New World Order which will be implemented at this time, or will it be the Luciferian New World Order that wants a drastic reduction in the world’s population, and a move towards a technocratic police state?
If the Technocrats get their way, be sure that God is still in control and that he will use them to bring judgment against this world for participating in the Satanic world system, which includes pharmakeia. God’s plan for a New World Order, as prophesied in the book of Revelation, also includes a dramatic decrease in the world’s population.
Whether sooner or later, the Messianic New World Order will be implemented, and Satan knows this even if many of his followers do not.
We must not fear what lies ahead, but embrace it as our destiny, and find our own purpose in what God has called us to do to resist the Satanic world system, which we have been warned against for thousands of years now.
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” (John 15:18-19)
Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. (1 John 3:13)
Many in the world are just now waking up to the evil intentions of the pharmaceutical-based medical system, and they will be lost without a different system of healing.
And those of us who know Jesus, and act on his authority to heal, have the power of Jesus available to us if we hear his voice, and then obey it.
Wait on your instructions now from our Lord Jesus Christ, and when those instructions come, act upon them in faith and expect the miraculous.
He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
