Calm Before The Storm

The convergence of signs continues.

Fascinating at this time before the storm, President Trump this week talked about the calm before the storm:

The hurricanes this year have been horrific.  Houston has never seen anything like it and Puerto Rico, Port Aransas and others are actually or virtually wiped out.

Earthquakes are on the rise as seen in Mexico and elsewhere. Now people are are desperately trying to prepare for what is impossible to prepare for: the great and terrible Day of the LORD.  I’m not saying we don’t have some physical preparations, but the ship is sinking and you’re rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.  People are preparing physically when they need to be preparing spiritually.

Meteor 2012 TC4 is coming within a whisper of hitting earth next week, if it doesn’t veer ever so slightly and actually hit the planet:

Record fires, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, meteors, hurricanes, typhoons, pestilence, in addition to rising ethnic and political divisions, rage, hostility, good being called evil and evil is now called good.
Then factor in all the signs in the heavens like the Blood Moon Tetrad, supermoons, eclipses, Revelation 12 fulfillment and these close conjunctions such as Mars (war) and Venus (Christ).

The convergence of murders, polarization, rage, rioting and hatred is at a fever pitch, as is selfish greed, godlessness and lust.

Of course the end of the fall feast days are right in front of us.  The much discussed end of the Feast of Tabernacles and the 8th day on October 13th is only a week away.

Maybe it’s just me, because of the news I follow and my beliefs about the day and the hour, but the world feels so pregnant, ripe, tense and poised. (Click to Site)

Psalm 30 (NASB)

Thanksgiving for Deliverance from Death.

A Psalm; a Song at the Dedication of the House. A Psalm of David.

I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up,
And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.
Lord my God,
I cried to You for help, and You healed me.
Lord, You have brought up my soul from Sheol;
You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit.
Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones,
And give thanks to His holy name.
For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for a lifetime;
Weeping may last for the night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
Now as for me, I said in my prosperity,
“I will never be moved.”
Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong;
You hid Your face, I was dismayed.
To You, O Lord, I called,
And to the Lord I made supplication:
“What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?
10 “Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to me;
Lord, be my helper.”
11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,
12 That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
